Fantastic experience: Tony is a very patient and brilliant instructor. He really helped me to gain confidence in the car and to trust myself while driving. Not being familiar with the routes as I had only just moved down here he taught me right from the beginning and helped me to understand every road. I passed first time with only one minor!!

Fantastic experience: Sometimes learning to drive can be far more complicated than you'd expect! Tony has a great understanding of psychology and temperament and can teach you in a way which personally suits you. Fantastic experience: Tony is fantastic, I highly recommend him. If you are an individual that struggles with attentiveness and attention to detail then TJs school is the school for you. I struggle particularly with dyspraxia, knowing my left and rights and roundabouts. He let it be known that being able to drive does not happen over night but if you are willing to put in the time you can do it. He was very patient when explaining and correcting my (many!) test-critical mistakes, helping me understand the serious and responsible attitude that driving requires. I really enjoyed my time with this school and the phrase “Slowly slowly catch a monkey” will stay with me forever, I cannot recommend him enough if you want someone who doesn’t just see you as an income and instead really puts in the effort to adapt their teaching method to your personality. Tony is your driving guru! REMEMBER: PEEP AND CREEP!

Fantastic experience: Tony is a great driving instructor, very patient. I was not a natural driver and did require a lot of support, which was always forthcoming. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is nervous or not confident! We worked hard and eventually got there and I am now a confident driver thanks to Tony.

Fantastic experience: Passed my driving test at my first attempt!!! Tony is extremely efficient and is a master for eye for detail. His lessons are informative with his extremely helpful understanding of the Cornish roads and potential routes for the driving test. Without a shadow of doubt I'd recommend him for driving lessons as he is on point with his thorough knowledge of the British driving test and his effective driving experience of decades.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend TJ's Driving school enough! Previous to Tony I had a negative experience with another instructor. He rebuilt my confidence, and I passed first time with him. He is kind, patient and caring and was always on time, flexible around my university timetable and taught me everything to be a safe and considerate driver. Thank you Tony!

Fantastic experience: After stopping driving for a few years due to going to university and before that failing my test multiple timesand due to having two past awful instructors that obviously couldn’t teach non natural drivers and put me too early in for my tests, my sister passed with Tony so I thought I’d give his lessons a try. I can never fault Tony, he is always on time, always on the ball and always firm but very calm and fair and has finally got my confidence back in driving and actually taken the time to really help me succeed within driving, even if it means going over and over things he never gets frustrated or annoyed about having to repeat himself sometimes. I hope to be passing my test soon as he’s actually made me feel ready and confident to pass my test and become a safe driver. I honestly don’t know how anyone could fault him. After having two awful instructors, it’s great to have a fab one like Tony to correct all those errors! 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: When I first started learning to drive I had a very bad experience with a certain driving instructor which destroyed my confidence. However as soon as my first lesson with Tony started I felt at ease as he is a very calm and patient guy. I don't think I could have passed with any other instructor. 11/10 Would recommend to anyone. (Good taste in music too)

Tony is a friendly professional driving instructor with a smile, Tony always arrived early, ready for my lesson Very confident and reassuring in his teaching, Tony believes in his students which helps him get the pass success he has and is also a huge confidence booster for pupils / ex pupils like myself. Tony is a local face so if he bumps into you while walking in your local town he will definitely say hello and ask how your doing. He is also a great lover of football which makes a good conversation, and a ice breaker for those who don't like to talk much or are just shy or nervous. Tony has the most update knowledge on the highway code as well as update test knowledge. I wouldn't go anywhere else but TJ driving school.

Negative experience: I had a lot of lessons with this guy and he never even took me to Camborne where the test is. Just repeated the same driving around Falmouth. Didn’t do any manoeuvres with me. Cost me a fortune. He always smelled of alcohol as well as if he’d been drinking the night before and was really grumpy and snappy. I went with BSM with a lovely guy called Charles and what a difference he was! Really taught me the things I needed to know and very quickly. I passed first time!x
