Fantastic experience: Steve helped me a lot in my driving journey. He’s really patient teaching me and explaining to me the rules on the road so I can be a safe driver especially during the beginning when I was doing a lot of mistakes! He’s always punctual, dedicated and very professional. I also appreciated it a lot when he made it possible to be with me on my driving test even if I gave him a short notice. Thank you so much again Steve!

Driving did not come easily to me at first but he is so, so patient and offers so many chances to ask questions and retry things that seem more difficult. I once found driving very daunting, but feel so much more comfortable at the wheel and am confident in my driving skills thanks to Steve’s hard work, and knowledge. Thank you again!!

Fantastic experience: A very good teacher. When he teaches you pointers, instead of just explaining everything he interacts with you to help you better understand and remember situations e.g. gets you to answer questions. I was unconfident and nervous about my driving but he helped me trust in my skill more and not over worry about small things. I highly recommend him, he will hugely help you with your driving.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Steve enough. He is a fantastic and excellent driving instructor. My daughter (only 18 years old), with no knowledge of driving who Never driven a car before, managed to pass for the 1st time. Can you believe it? My daughter now is an excellent driver. She indeed drives better myself . Thank you so much, Steve, for all your brilliant and professional sessions. Always on time. After every session, when I asked my daughter how the session was, she acknowledged, "very good". She liked Steve. Thank you!

Negative experience: Steve is a very nice individual however I would not recommend him as a driving instructor. We managed to go 28 hrs without doing sat nav which is an integral part of the driving test. When we were driving I didn't feel instructions were clear and would often feel like there was not enough being taught in the two hours.Nothing against him individually just wouldnt recommend if you want to progress at a good pace and also if you're ooking to not be driving over 40+ hours( as he recommended me once).

Fantastic experience: Steve was a superb teacher and friend. Always professional and accommodating - encouraging too. I'd had a terrible experience with a different instructor who constantly berated me for the smallest error rather than build my confidence, like Steve did. He has a calm demeanour. That's why I decided to keep going to him despite living over half an hour away! I ended up passing with only three minors. Steve is dedicated to his students and will always try to make scheduling work, including using his car for practical tests. He really made a difference in my life - I feel like he saw me through a transitional period and I'm glad to have had his support. It feels great driving!

Fantastic experience: A professional instructor, calm, patient and reassuring. Steve went above and beyond. My lessons became relaxed, enjoyable and we had plenty of laughs, too. Each lesson was tailored to my individual strengths and weaknesses. We set new targets every lesson, adapted to suit my level of confidence and understanding. Fantastic experience: I had previous experience with driving before but only after I'd had a few 5 hour lessons with Steve was I really ready for my practical test. I passed first time with only a couple of minors. His lessons were very thorough and very professional, I couldn't recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: Steve was my 6th driving instructor, and the best of the lot. He is a great teacher, always very prepared and aware of what needs to be done each lesson. Finally understood what I was doing with my manoeuvres after a couple of lessons. He’s very calm, patient and professional so I was relaxed and able to focus on driving. Nice car to learn on too, v easy to control!

Fantastic experience: I intended to write this review a while ago, but just found the time. Great instructor, very patient and attentive. Had several teachers before, they always were on high stress and very disorganised. Some of them even didn't turn up for scheduled lessons when paid in advance. Steve charges a slight bit more than the others, but had l started with him l would have saved a lot of money in lessons and time. Forget looking for any other instructor, Steve is the best l've been taught by. I'm now driving a Supercharged AMG and another V8 Merc that l have, so all is good!

Fantastic experience: I had been driving for a few months provisionally and decided to do an 18hour intensive course and pass my test within 3 days. He was great, patient and taught me every little thing I needed to know. Would definitely recommend to anyone! Thanks Steve!

Fantastic experience: Steve gave me so much support with my theory test and my driving test and was always a text away if I had any questions. Steve gave me 110% and I couldn't have asked for any more! Always willing to go over something as many times as you need to and if I didn't understand something he always had diagrams and his iPad to show me. Very patient. Have recommended him to friends and colleagues. Thanks Steve I will always remember to check for bill and Ben when I'm out driving

Fantastic experience: If there's anything Steve doesn't know about driving - then it simply isn't worth knowing! He boasts a wealth of knowledge and experience in driving which was evident from the go. (He also knows the Bournemouth and Poole area like the back of his hand, which was especially good in my case having just recently moved down.) Steve's approach is invariably student-focused. He tailored our lessons to a pace which suited me to ensure I felt comfortable, whilst at the same time never ceased to encourage me in making progress. He was always happy to go through any questions I had in detail, breaking things down until I had a clear understanding, whether related to the lesson at hand or more theoretical in nature. There was never a moment, even on a good drive, that Steve wasn't ready to leap into action. I always felt confident that, should an issue occur, he was prepared and knew exactly when and how to help if needed. As a somewhat hesitant adult learner, it was very reassuring. Steve encourages self-evaluation throughout his lessons, going above and beyond (but of course not losing sight of) passing the test. He's helped me nurture a self-awareness when driving which is now for me an integral and life-long part of driving itself. In short, as an instructor I found Steve friendly, knowledgeable and determined in imparting the highest of driving standards. Having passed my practical test (at the height of Bournemouth rush hour no less) I'm greatly indebted to Steve, and would recommend him to anyone in the Bournemouth and Poole area.
