Fantastic experience: More than halfway into my lessons, my former instructor and I had scheduling issues. Jay saved me in that situation and helped me to improve within 6 weeks. Fixed all my bad habits and made sure I’m a safe driver, hence test ready! I just passed my test, first try with 1 minor! I’m happy and sad at the same time. Happy for passing my test - of course - sad because i greatly enjoyed our lessons and will miss them. If I ever need more driving practice, Jay will be my first contact! Thank you Jay! You’re a fantastic teacher! I recommend Jay if you want to pass your test first try and learn how to drive!

Fantastic experience: Best driving instructor in Derby! Helps you boost your confidence when you lack it, teaches you in a formal manner, very polite. Gets you to where you need to be in your driving stage, I am currently a learner driver and my driving and confidence gets better every lesson, because before I used to lack a lot of it and now I’m getting to where I need to be due to jay’s patience and kindness. I have never felt rushed or stressed during a lesson. Fantastic experience: Jay is a great driving instructor I've had previous instructors but jay made it the easiest he was patient and explained things well and made it easy and comfortable to drive with him, the price was well worth it he always tried to get me on routes that would help my needs for example if I needed to get sharper on roundabouts he wouldn't just take me to the same roundabouts and let it get repetitive he would plan a route with a lot of roundabouts and different roundabouts so you could get to grasps with the situation thats just one example of how he would plan the routes and lesson to your needs and not just teach everyone the same, he's not after your money he wants to get you passed safely and quickly would reccomend anyone to book with him as it was worth the money he has been in contact with me since to see how I'm getting on and give me little tips 10/10

Fantastic experience: Jay is an excellent teacher patient and calm, I probably wasn't the best of students constant stalling and sharp breaking but Jay took his time to teach me exactly how much pressure to apply, and I passed my test first time after 4 months! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I started lessons with Jay with only 3 months until my theory test ran out in November, having 3 other instructors before hand. Jay put as much effort and care in as I did, he made me feel so at ease and not only taught me how to drive but educated me on driving and really helped me understand the car and the rules of driving. I honestly don’t believe I would have passed before my theory ran out with anyone else - he’s a top class instructor and would recommend him 100% Thank you Jay!

Fantastic experience: Jay is a fantastic teacher. Not only is he professional and insanely experienced, but he’s also passionate about teaching his students. Basics are a must for driving, but what Jay does is take it that bit further - he’ll teach you all the right techniques, not only to pass your test, but to make you a safer, smarter and even more economical driver. He’s not teaching you from a fresh faced instructor, the man has been driving for 25years; he knows what he’s doing. So if he says you’re not ready, you’re not ready, simple as that. There’s no point wasting money on failed driving tests. Trust what he has to teach you and you’ll pass with a confidence you didn’t know you had. 11/10 recommend. Thanks again, Jay!
