Negative experience: Beware of this company / Do not give this company your money! They took my deposit and gave me a date for lessons but then cancelled, offering a refund. I accepted the offer of a refund, but 3 months have passed and they have not issued the refund and are not responding to my attempts to contact them. I'm currently in the process of getting my money back through the small claims courts. Do yourself a favour and us _any_ other company.

Fantastic experience: I tried and failed my theory test 13times so I booked in with rob for a 3day course due to me having adhd and dyslexia and he was fantastic from start to finish he was able to help me understand and get me to the standard of being able to pass with flying colours I would highly recommend him for anyone who is looking for that extra help I would never of been able to pass if it wasn’t for him so thank you again rob!

Negative experience: It is scam, take a alert on this driving school. I had booked for 4-day crash course and paid £200 deposit after Rob confirmed my driving test date and 4 days lessons. Everything seemed go nice. However, when I prepared to pay the balancing payment and check the details from the driving test, I shocked for my driving test was cancelled without any notice. Then I contacted to Rob, he got me back after I sent two emails, he said my driving test was cancelled by mistake and no driving lessons would be provided during the agreed period... Since I can't provide other time slot, I requested to the deposit refund, and after sending several emails and reminders, no response and no refund to be arranged. Avoid!

Positive experience: Decided I needed to skill up before picking up my new much larger trailer. Despite having been given the codes on my licence to tow a large trailer I'd never done it before and thought it would be a good idea to get some expert tuition to reduce the chance of getting myself stuck. I chose the 6hr package to cover all the aspects. It was a good day and I learned a lot. The instructor had a lot of patience with me as it's been over 25 years since I had any professional instruction. Because I was weak at roundabouts there wasn't as much time to practice reversing but it was right to concentrate on the area of greater risk. It was definitely worth doing the course and I'd recommend anyone not familiar towing a trailer take one.

Negative experience: Took my money, cancelled on the day and then have me excuse after excuse about why my refund had not processed. Was told to “stop mithering” when I emailed to ask when I would get my £500 back. Looks like we had a lucky escape!

Negative experience: Avoid this company like the plague!! Paid them my money for training and a test (£200+) and have received neither after over a year of trying. I have asked for a refund to which they have acknowledged they owe me but have not sent me. They are now ignoring all of my attempts to contact them. Spend your money elsewhere and hopefully put this cowboy out of business!

Negative experience: If there's one thing you do when learning to drive, make sure it's avoiding this absaloute b#ll end!! Rob takes your money for a course that isn't even available and then let's you take it to court before eventually paying it back in bits. Poor communication and NO empathy what so ever! Avoid him like a pot hole!!!!

Negative experience: I applied to their intensive course on the 1st May and paid £60 deposit to secure appointments. The first lesson was supposed to start on 9th May, however, no one showed up or contacted me on that day to let me know that the booking was cancelled until I call and ask. They said they cannot arrange further appointment for me and my test was at 20 May, this is totally irresponsible, I could have found someone else and have better preparation if they just told me earlier. Having said that, this is not the worst, they said they will send me refund and until today (28/5), I haven't received the full amount of my refund, and they lied that the payment has already been made but are unable to provide any proof. The case has been reported to Action Fraud and please DO NOT employ this company!!!!

Negative experience: AWOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, This place is completely waist of time and money. Payed nearly £300 for cours which they couldn't provide and when I've cancelled because I'm not happy at all with them I'm still without my money and is already nearly two months. This people are scammers and not professional.

Fantastic experience: Took a half day course plus test for my B+E, Rob was very concise in his delivery, and I've now got my license after the one session with him!

Negative experience: DO NOT USE.....told me to send money with out having a date to start lessons and wanted the full amount of £380,so abit unsure,then he emailed saying ok send £150 so I can book you a test which is only £115 nothing from him (ROB) for 2weeks till I phoned him asking what's going on,to be told i have nothing till over a month,I phone somewhere else and that same day got me lessons and a test date the following week, so asked rob for my £150 back as you have done nothing to book a test,his reply was... I want paying for my time ,his time apparently is making one phone call,so I asked how much will that be,£40 ok send me my money back to be only sent back £100,what a arrogant,unhelpful scammer, AVOID!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Just passed my B+E test with Rob. Rob was a very good instructor and very knowledgeable. I will be recommending Rob to anyone who is looking to gain further licenses.

Fantastic experience: I've recently passed my B+E test first try after a 2 day course with Rob. I passed my car test some 20 years ago and my motorbike test 7 years ago and I felt that my driving knowledge and skill were quite high. I am also fairly used to towing having had several jet skis over the years. Rob was very knowledgeable and really tailored the course to work on areas that required improvement. If ever I felt confused or didn't understand why I was being asked to do something, I simply had to ask and Rob took the time to discuss the circumstances and the underlying reasons in detail. It's hard being told how to drive when you think you know it all, but if you listen to the instructions and do you best to put it in to practice, it will serve you well not just on your test but in all aspects of your driving. It's a tough test, you are expected to drive to a high standard at all times. I probably would have been ok with the 1 day +2 hour option but I'm glad I went with the 2 day course as it enabled us to keep practicing anything I wasn't 100% comfortable with.

Fantastic experience: Passed my B+E test with very moderate towing experience and a 6 hour 6am-12pm course, with a 12:10pm test. Both the training and the test are tough so shouldn't be underestimated, but the instruction was incredibly helpful and I'd certainly recommend to anyone looking to pass their B+E test.

Fantastic experience: I passed my B + E test today with no faults thanks to Northwest Crash Courses. A knowledgable straight talking instructor, an easy trailer to handle and use of an excellent Mercedes tow car (with reversing camera). I would highly recommend. Thanks again Rob!

Fantastic experience: I took a 2 day course with Rob as I have previous trailer driving experience (test was included in the price). Rob was very knowledgeable and did a good job at calming my test/exam anxiety before the test! I took my original driving test over 18 years ago, so my knowledge of the highway code needed some updating and reminding how to drive under test conditions. Rob did this well and highlighted the main areas I needed to focus on to improve to become test ready. I was thoroughly prepared for the test which is what you pay for! Everything the test involved was discussed, demonstrated and practised beforehand. I was confident that everything had been covered and understood what I needed to focus on improving to pass the test. I passed first time and only with 2 minors (very happy!). Recommend if you are serious about improving your trailer driving and gaining the knowledge on how to pass your test. Thanks for all the help Rob! Clare, Leigh.

Fantastic experience: Thanks for helping me pass my B+E Rob. Reading the other reviews about Rob and his teaching technique. I didn't see this as a negative. Rob just wanted to get you to pass! Trying to change 20+yrs of driving habits in 4hrs is a tough to do so Rob has to be tough and to the point in such a short amount of time. Anyone who wishes/needs to do the B+E test make sure you do your research, youtube, practice and check up on your highway code.

Negative experience: Just spent the morning with this company, I failed my test but that was not there fault as my training was from another company. All I can say is that the instructor was not the best people skills at all, I felt like I was been spoken down to by my dad. One minute I need to slow down on approach of a junction the next I am told not to stop at a round about. Also I don't think I heard the instructor asking me to check my mirrors once to me. I was also given a lecture about how expensive repair bills ( clutches) are on the Mercedes car that was used :-| if its an expensive car to maintain it should not be used for driver training!! I was more relaxed doing the test than I was driving to the test centre. One time I paused at a roundabout as there was a car going through with out an indicator, this was not seen by the instructor and said we had to agree to disagree as to why I paused. On the way back from the test centre the instructor was not displaying any of the training he was giving me...

Negative experience: Absolute waste of time and money. I completed my crash course with Rob. Any time I got something wrong he would get in a huff about it saying "you should know this, this close to the test" instead of letting me know where I went wrong so I could learn from my mistakes. Any question felt too stupid as it would be meant with a long sigh and an angry comment. He belittled me that much over the course of the 3 days I came very close to tears and even that made him angry. I get that I should have known the stuff and may not have been ready to sit my test but I would have liked to have known where I went wrong and what I was doing right. I'm not sure what the other instructor at North West Crash Courses is like as he might be ok.

Negative experience: I have been trying to contact this company for over a month. They have not replied to any of my emails or phone calls enquiring about booking a course. Very unprofessional, would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I did a 6 hour crash course with andrew he was grate has the right attitude very friendly would highly recommend for any1 who wants to know how to drive he's boss I passed today with only 2 minors where as 5 hours earlier I would of failed 100% if any1 goes with northwest crash courses ask for Andrew you will pass with him A 1 day crash course is £225 worth every penny I have read bad reviews on here and was septic about doing it glad I did carnt comment on other instructors but Andrew is boss ASK FOR HIM AND YOU WILL PASS!!

Fantastic experience: Just done my 12 hour course over the last 2 days with Andrew, who was really friendly and helped me get really good and comfortable and passed first time with only 4 minors!! Better priced than most intensive courses and really helpful Thank you! (Also may I add, I am only 19 - thought I should put this in as someone says they wouldn't recommend for young drivers)

Negative experience: Very Bad ! i just called the office to get some information about the crush course but the Guy who answer the phone no patience to answer my question he hangup the call he was .. only focus in MONEY... so if they do not have patience to answer the Question about the course how they can teach to students ....?

Negative experience: Warning!! The guy who runs this is am absolute maniac. Do not even think of trying this company - only care about your money

Negative experience: My girlfriend has just paid and completed her 2 day intensive course. She has already had 100 hours driving and failed 2 exams. We decided to do a crash course with this outfit. Unfortunalty it was my fault that I did not read the t&c properly and I apologise to the owners for the blunt phone call after I realised the driving instructor didn't put my girlfriend in for her test because he felt she was not ready after 12 hours of intense driving on top of 100 hours she has already done. £380 later she is no better off apart from more experience that's the only positive we can get out of this experience. Our advice is Please make sure to read the terms and conditions especially #11 before you book a course with NWCC. If I had of read them properly I would not have booked it as it's purely subjective.

Negative experience: Very unpleasant people, they care more about your money being in their bank rather than you actually passing your driving test or being anywhere near it! Complete waste of time and money! Would not recommend to any young drivers!
