Fantastic experience: I had been trying to learn to drive for over two years but struggled to find the right instructor due to my anxiety and panic on the road. I really wanted to drive a manual car, but every time I had to change gears, I would freeze up in fear. After multiple failed attempts with other instructors, I lost all hope of ever passing my test. That changed when I found ALB School. From the very first interaction, their level of customer service was outstanding. Danielle was incredibly helpful and friendly, making the booking process smooth and stress-free. Then I met my instructor, Dave, and I was absolutely amazed. His professionalism, deep knowledge, and, most importantly, his calm and patient approach were exactly what I needed. He didn’t just teach me how to drive—he built my confidence from the ground up, starting with the absolute basics and guiding me through every challenge at my own pace. He even taught me essential real-life skills like refueling and taking my car to a wash, which no one had ever shown me before. What truly made a difference was how flexible and understanding Dave was. He rearranged my lessons to fit around my work schedule and structured an intensive two-week course leading up to my test. Thanks to his incredible teaching, I finally overcame my fear and passed my manual driving test on the first try! I never thought I would get to this point, but ALB School and Dave made it possible. I highly recommend ALB, and I cannot praise Dave enough—if you’re struggling to learn to drive, he is the instructor you need!

Communications were and continued to be prompt and helpful as were booking the times for the lessons and theory test. Tony is calm, approachable and as my son said, he was going to miss him once he’s passed - which he did first time. Fantastic experience: I booked an intensive driving course with Rob V through ALB driving and could not recommend him and the company enough; his instruction is both professional and extremely personable, which improved my confidence not just for the test but driving in general, and his extensive knowledge of the local area and test routes was very valuable during my lessons. The ALB team were also able to accommodate my complicated personal schedule, juggling university term dates and exams, and liase with myself and Rob well ahead to time to arrange the driving course and practical test itself, which I passed on the first attempt. I am very grateful for the work that Rob and ALB do to promote safe and confident new drivers on the roads, and would highly endorse their intensive driving courses for learners in the Farnborough area.

Fantastic experience: Would recommend ALB Intensive Driving in a heartbeat! I switched over from learning in a manual car to learning in an automatic car with Tony - as the manual gear wasn’t working out for me at all. I’m a very nervous driver and anxious about being on the road, but have just passed my test today, and all down to Tony. It was an intense but fabulous course over a week a bit, with my test booked very soon after my lessons ended. Tony was accommodating, and knew just how to guide me through my nerves and teach me the rules of the road! I would not have passed without him! Thanks Tony! :)

Fantastic experience: Due to timing of starting university my daughter didn’t have time to go down the traditional weekly lessons route. ALB and specifically Tony were recommended to us and couldn’t have been more helpful from the start. They fitted us in and organised both theory and practical tests both of which were passed first time! Tony is a great instructor, instilling confidence in my daughter and making her believe in herself. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Thank you ALB! I'm so glad I chose ALB Intensive Driving and the intensive course rather than ad hoc lessons. They are an actual local company and Tony was a great instructor who knew all of the test routes around Farnbourgh (particularly the roundabout). Both the theory and the driving test were booked well in advance of my course starting. The course is, as expected, intensive but in my opinion the way to go. Once again thanks Tony!

Fantastic experience: I thought passing my driving test was going to be impossible, as I am an anxious driver, but Tony has helped make the impossible possible and helped me pass my test at my first go! Because of him, driving has become less complicated and hard maneuvers are now so much easier to do! Thank you so much for your help and I would really recommend individuals to book lessons with the company because you will really save a lot of time and money as the lessons are a lot more frequent and longer (and you can pass your test within a much shorter period of time) , which I think is more beneficial as you remember what errors you have done hence can learn from your mistakes a lot faster rather than waiting the next week where you can possibly forget what you have done wrong and learnt! You won't regret learning and passing your driving test with them!

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend ALB any higher. Booked my course in July, ALB sorted a theory test for me at the start of August. My driving lessons were with Mark S in Farnborough, so I would highly recommend him he was very patient, helpful and a pleasure to have as a teacher. Most importantly, ALB managed to get me a test moved forward to just a week and a half after my lessons ended! I passed with only 1 minor fault (completely my fault, it was something we practised 100 times). Could not have done it without Mark. Overall, fantastic service - sorting both my theory and test within a very reasonable amount of time and the quality of teaching was excellent. Well worth the time and money.

Fantastic experience: Tony and his team at ALB Intensive driving are great and I cannot recommend them more. My daughter suffers with some anxiety and was a bit nervous about starting her Advanced Driving Course. However, she quickly felt at ease with Tony and couldn’t speak more highly of him. There approach to the driving lessons seems very well structured and we didn’t encounter any of the issues or annoyances that some of my daughters friends did with other driving instructors.

Fantastic experience: We are very happy to recommend Tony to anyone. As well as providing excellent tuition, he was also organised, punctual and flexible. He responded quickly to texts and was always prepared to reschedule lessons if the need arose. Part of his service is booking tests, which is invaluable as these are currently extremely difficult to come by. He made the whole experience stress free and our daughter is confident behind the wheel.

Fantastic experience: I did a 30-hour intensive driving course with ALB Intensive Driving. I had barely ever driven before at all so started from scratch. The instructor that I worked with was really kind and taught in a well-structured manner, and managed to get my driving level up to test standard really quickly. When my test was coming up, he had a conversation with me about whether or not I was comfortable taking my driving test. When we decided that I might not be ready, he changed my driving test date to two weeks later at no extra cost to make sure that I got enough practice, which really reduced my stress levels. I didn't have to worry about booking any of the tests, either theory or practical, as ALB does this all for you. They are also really flexible with hours/pickups and really try to do what works for you. I ended up passing my test the first time! Overall, they are a great company that go above and beyond to make sure that you learn how to drive in the best way possible.

I have been learning to drive around 16 months in total and did not have the best start. failed first test as i was clearly not ready with a different company. My friend then put me in connect with Dannielle and she arranged for me to meet the lovely Tony. Booked 30 hours and i then chose to do another 10 hours.
