Fantastic experience: Barry is a brilliant driving instructor. I had no driving experience at all at the start of our lessons and today I passed first time with no minors! From our first lesson I felt comfortable around Barry - he's very patient and made me feel at ease straight away despite how apprehensive I was about driving. He's extremely knowledgeable about driving in Southend and taught me all of the potential pitfalls on the different test routes which really helped during my test. I also appreciated how friendly and easy to get along with Barry is (which is important when you're spending many hours in a car with someone!) I would highly recommend Barry if you're looking for an automatic driving instructor in Southend!

He was incredibly patient and explained everything clearly, ensuring I understood both the theory and practical aspects of driving. Fantastic experience: I recently just passed on my first attempt at the Southend test centre with Barry as my instructor! He’s patient and encouraging while teaching, always able to spot weaknesses and creates opportunities to improve of those skills. He has excellent knowledge of common test routes. Furthermore, he’s flexible with scheduling to accommodate irregular shift patterns. At a very competitive hourly rate, I’d highly recommend Barry to anyone hoping to get an automatic driving license.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Barry, very nice guy and very knowledgeable with driving. I had a previous instructor who wouldn't help much (I won't name him) but when I approached Barry I was on the road with him within a week. I had my driving test today and I PASSED with 2 minors which I'm very happy with, Barry was also very pleased with it. he knows his stuff, if anyone has any doubt then rest assured Barry is the best option for you. the best instructor I've had by far!

He really put himself out to teach me he taught me from early hours in the morning to coming out on Sunday’s and he was able to accommodate me driving lessons with a short timeframe up towards my test date and I passed! Fantastic experience: I have been doing my lessons with Barry and Got to know him for the past 12 months also. He is such a wonderful person, brilliant instructor with positive attitude, teach well all Manoeuvres with outstanding driving knowledge and very supportive. Barry has been very encouraging. I passed my driving test today 1st time with 4 minors and I had to travel to Clacton on sea to take my test as there was none in Southend. He’s been with me all the way through, will definitely recommend Barry Abbott, Absolutely Brilliant… the best instructor so far in my opinion. Fantastic experience: where do I begin ? I passed My Test on Friday with Barry Abbot and what a Guy he is and what a journey we have been on . From Day 1 of having Lessons with Barry I felt at ease staight away and knew he was going to be the guy to get me through my test and he certainly did that ! I am not the easiest person to teach at times and his patience and belief in me is the reason I passed with flying colours and can finally say I finally have my Lience ! And that is all thanks to Barry . Form 6 am starts to finishing late evenings very accommodating with not the best times but when I could fit in lessons with my little boy . We got there and it was worth all the hard work . Thank you Barry for everything you have been great . I am still on cloud 9 from Friday and cannot stop smiling

Fantastic experience: I passed today with Barry as my instructor, after a few years of trying to learn to drive and various driving instructors, Barry by far is one of the best teachers out there. He gave me back my confidence that I had been lacking, Barry is so friendly and patience he instantly makes you feel relaxed and I would highly recommend him time and time again.

Fantastic experience: My daughter starting her driving lessons with Barry on her 17th Birthday in November, she passed her driving test 1st time in April. She said that Barry was always calm, patient and explained everything really well. He made her gain confidence in driving really quickly and squeezed her in for all the lessons she needed near the time of her test. We both highly recommend Barry so much so that he is now teaching my other daughter, thanks Barry!

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Barry for a fair while now - had a fantastic 12 hours worth of lessons. Barry is a fantastic instructor with amazing teaching methods. He is calm, quiet and patient. He has a wonderful car that is so responsive and my whole experience with Barry has been brilliant. I passed my test today with just 7 minors, a win in my eyes after failing twice previously (different instructor and car) I can’t thank Barry enough! He has been so patient and understanding and has really helped me gain confidence back in driving after failing previously. Even if I had or what I felt was a bad day or lesson, Barry would remind me of the positives of the day and things I did well, but also how to improve on those mistakes. Couldn’t be more grateful! Fantastic experience: So, I’m sorry but Barry is THE best instructor! I couldn’t fault him in anyway. He was so patient with me. He found my faults and took his time to correct them made me perfect all my manoeuvres aswell as my driving. He’s a instructor that is perfect for anyone who struggles with nerves Barry just knows what to say and when to say it. Makes you comfortable within yourself and as soon as your behind that wheel he makes you feel at ease and let’s you know that you can do this! I probably made him loose a few hairs on his head but I’m sure he could agree when I say my lessons with him were educational and fun at the same time. Barry thankyou for being the perfect instructor a girl could have. You honestly made me a better driver and I would recommend to anyone who wants to do automatic.
