Positive experience: Had 2 lessons which (I thought) were great & thoroughly taught. Went to book my third and was told I would be better served learning automatic. This is fine, but wasn’t given feedback on what went wrong/ why I couldn’t continue with this instructor. No chance to improve or learn any true skills after 2 lessons. Irrespective of my speed of learning manual I don’t feel this was fair. I left disappointed and now lacking confidence to learn manual at all. Additionally, before my first lesson I inquired if there was a preference for payment. I got a somewhat snappy response; ‘this isn’t a request for money’. Felt uneasy after this. Something off here as this instructor has such glowing reviews.

As someone with a DCD, I was over the moon to have passed 1st time with a manual licence and I put that in large part down to the quality of lessons I received. Fantastic experience: After being hit by another driver, I became increasingly nervous of driving but a couple of refresher lessons with Keith have restored my confidence. His professional, calm and patient manner has helped me get back behind the wheel with a renewed enjoyment for driving.

Fantastic experience: Keith is a professional, reliable, knowledgeable and extremely patient instructor. A fear of driving I couldn't overcome stopped me driving over 20 years ago. At that point I didn't think I ever wanted to drive again. Returning to driving with Keith, following the first covid lockdown, the fear was very much still there. Keith was patient and encouraging, always ready with words of advice, clear instruction and effective teaching techniques to help me feel more at ease. Lessons were varied, progressive and increasingly challenging, pushing me out of my comfort zone and ensuring I experienced a wide variety of different driving conditions, in preparation for the test and more importantly driving having passed my test. I never quite believed i would have the confidence or ability to pass, but all thanks to Keith, I now have. I would not hesitate to recommend Keith to anyone wanting to learn to drive. Negative experience: Really unprofessional started tuition with him after booking 10 hour block lessons, but he just wants your money I guess because after that we booked for another day but said he wasn’t able to make it so asked when we can re book aired me two weeks straight had to text him after 18 days without a reply whether we was going to carry on driving lessons or not and reply’s with I’m not willing to continue I have taken things as far as I’m willing and it would be in both of our interests to move on to me this is very unprofessional of him as a teacher is never meant to give up on a student but some people are in it for the money and some people are in it for the love I personally know what Keith was in it for I hope you don’t fall for the same mistake

I was an apprehensive first-time learner, but after a lot of perseverance I passed first time – testament to his patient and calm demeanour. He always focusses on safe driving and will help you refine techniques to not only pass your test, but be a good driver. Fantastic experience: Keith is a highly qualified driving instructor with a professional approach. More than this, he is also a very personable individual who makes you feel at ease when learning to drive. He was also kindly willing to go out of his way so that I could have lessons from home and from school. This is why I recommended Keith to a close friend who had struggled to find a good instructor, who also managed to pass with Target Tuition. Thanks to Keith, I was able to pass my practical test first time and went on to do the Pass Plus. Fantastic experience: Target Tuition is the most professional driving school I have used. Keith is a great teacher and can explain every element of driving in such a nice way that you don't feel like you are being an idiot when you make a mistake. I started by having a two hour lesson, to see if driving (and Target Tuition) was for me, I received a letter informing me of the booking, which I hadn't expected. After the first lesson I booked into the Intensive course. There are not many people I can be in an enclosed space with for 5 hours on end, but Keith puts you right at ease. He is calm, friendly and a great instructor. I passed first time and felt confident enough to test drive different cars a week after passing my test. Keith makes sure you are at the right level to pass and with access to the theory questions, hazard perception mocks and a booklet fully explaining the theory of driving you really can't go wrong!! Now I'm just waiting to get my car so I can do the Pass Plus with Keith, I know that he is the perfect person to teach me how I stay alive on the motorway. I would recommend Keith to anyone of any level who wanted to learn to drive.
