Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Intensive Driving Lessons highly enough! Steven; my driving instructor, was professional, patient, helped build my confidence and always rooted for me to succeed. Thank you so much Steven!

Negative experience: Avoid company!! They are a joke, after I paid the first half they took the money then allocated me with a driving instructor and I thought that was it, but then the driving instructor didn’t even turn up and then the full week I was meant to be having my intense course I didn’t have no lessons, then they eventually sent a driving instructor 3 weeks late!! When he turnt up he said he can’t do an intense course how I was suppose to have it as the company advertised but instead he will try and fit me in, then after two 2 hour lessons he cut short my third lesson. So I done 5 hours out of the 15 I paid for and then he stop returning my messages to arrange lessons, only when I threatened to report him he then responded saying one of his clients crashed his car, but not to worry as he has a courtesy and will be in contact soon to arrange lessons, then another weeks passes and nothing so I messaged again saying I’ve had enough and I want my money back, he then tried to say I’ve been the one unreasonable! However he refunded me some money but he gave me back £100 out of £300 and that’s it. Intense driving course company doesn’t care or doesn’t want to help as long as they got their money, avoid them at all cost and also avoid (will Wilson driving school).

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience I had during my intensive driving course My instructor Vincent was fantastic he was so patient and informative throughout the course! I was terrified of the thought of driving and I passed after 30 hours with Vincent! I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor!! Thank you very much! Beep beep toot toot!!

Negative experience: Avoid this driving school at all costs - the school also operates under "Allpass Driving School". Initial contact seemed hopeful, with Alistair assuring me that I could work my lessons around my schedule and we can get a test booked almost immediately - LIES. Very persistent to make you pay a deposit. I paid the deposit for 15 hours, which Alistair said was all I would need as this was a resit after losing my license a few years ago. Now this is where things went downhill. I had to book and pay for the practical test myself as the online booking system recognises that I already have a full license. I booked the day and time Alistair told me to. Then it was radio silence - no contact from any instructor and weeks of calls to Alistair which went unanswered. He finally replied saying he was on holiday and by this time the test date had passed, so I lost the £62 booking fee. Alistair apologised, saying he couldn't understand why I wasn't contacted by an instructor and would compensate me with extra lessons after I pass my test, intended for Pass Plus or Motorway confidence. Ok, fine. He then told me to book another test, giving me the exact test date and time to book for, insisting that he himself will take me for my lessons. I booked the test - another £62. Within a few days I was then contacted by Jerry / Gerry, one of the instructors. This man was completely disorganised - after 3 phone calls, I had to continually reiterate my driving experience, when my test was booked for, the days and times that suited me and each call ended with him saying he'll get back to me once he had his notes in front of him. Time went on, the test date drew closer and I still didn't have a lesson. My texts and calls became unanswered and finally I text Alistair to state that I was extremely unhappy with the level of professionalism given, the lack of organisation and I had lost all confidence in their ability to teach me to drive if they couldn't even organise a lesson plan. Magically, Gerry contacted me saying he was sorry and that his phone was away for repair which was why he didn't contact me for almost 3 weeks. - MORE LIES Alistair text me to convince me to organise the lessons and every call to him since has gone unanswered. Another £62 test lost. I had contacted Citizens Advice who have alerted Trading Standards to this business. I sent Alistair a formal letter to request my full refund including cost of damages, delivered recorded to his business address. I have received zero refund and zero communication so have informed Alistair that I will now be taking this case through Small Claims Court. Absolutely appalling business practices, no concern or morals and very disorganised instructors. I will be receiving every penny that I am owed and I will make sure I won't rest until I do. If anyone see has had similar dealings, I urge you to do the same.

Positive experience: Going well so far. Booked a 15 hour intensive course. Received the first 2 hour lesson. Initial contact was a bit slow but teaching and recording of finance and hours have been good.

Fantastic experience: Booked a 15 hour refresher course with all pass driving a few weeks ago and had my first lesson today. Alistair was really helpful and patient with me as I haven't driven with an instructor for a while and have picked up many bad habits. Looking forward to improving with Alistair's help over the rest of the week and hopefully will be ready for my test!

Negative experience: A disappointing experience with this outfit. I informed Alistair during our initial telephone conversation that I work abroad and that time was important and I wished to get started ASAP- he assured me this was no problem and I duly paid my depost. He then sat on my money for a fortnight and only responded with a test date after I emailed to chase him up. This test date was scheduled for after my return to work, which I told Alistair and when I asked for my money back, with the possibility of rebooking when I was home, he informed me that I wasn't entitled to anything and his Ts and Cs stated "no refunds". He had even cancelled the practical test that he had booked and had the money refunded to himself, which I can only assume he intended to keep until I pulled him up on it. He then offered this sum as a partial refund, whcih i told him was unnaceptable. I had to chase this through my credit card company and eventually had my money refunded. In my opinion he is lazy and disorganised as an operative. I lost all faith in his abilities and when he told me he would keep the slot open for a year I didn't wish to engange with him any further, and would recommend others to do the same. He also, bizarrely, asks his clients to give him positive online reviews in their initial emails confirming their course before they've been in a car with him, which I consider to be dishonest.

As i cannot provide a fully objective review (iive not started yet!) I am giving it 3 stars however given the current level of service by the company i do think that this will go up much more! Positive experience: Alistair is a bona fide driving instructor and a keen debater on all issues political. He'll throw you in at the deep end and tell you how to swim until you get it, all the while telling you all sorts of stories about himself and others. If you want to just get your head down and get your licence quickly, go for him.
