Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant driving instructor, very friendly and relaxed but gives clear and easy to follow instructions. Tests in the current climate are hard, but a great instructor can make all the difference, thankfully I had one. I just passed my test, with apparently quite a strict examiner and the only one of the two of us not surprised was Gavin. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Gavin is Fantastic! I suffer from dysfunctional personality disorder and was so paranoid about the idea of learning to drive or crashing my instructors car or harming someone. As well as socialising with a stranger, however Gavin was so friendly and laid back. I did a intense course over a week and passed my test first try I couldn't be happier. He did everything at my pace explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, he was very flexible with my schedule as I work nights, there isn't a thing I would fault him for. His service & dedication to teaching you to drive, and not just pass your test is phenomenal!!

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal Instructor. Before I met Gavin I always doubted myself. I thought I would never be able to drive. I was so scared of crashing the car. Right from the first lesson Gavin was patient, kind and listened. For every session there was a lesson to learn. Gavin would often say that he's not coaching me to pass the test but to be a good and competent driver after the test. I can confidently say I am a competent driver. I would definitely recommend him.

I contacted him through great reviews I seen as I moved to the country and needed to pass my taxi test, from the very start he was brilliant, explained everything I needed to do. Fantastic experience: Had started with Gavin as a refresher course after recovering from several failed tests, and can 100% say that it was the best decision ever going with Gavin. He made you feel comfortable in the car and made every minute worthwhile. With his incredible sense of humour and upbeat and comfortable personality, I was thankfully able to pass my test today! Fantastic experience: I approached getting my driving license as a reluctant chore after really extended, miserable, previous attempts and was embittered into the opinion the driving test was a gamble against examiners out to get you. With Gavin i not only passed quickly but I thoroughly enjoyed the whole week even the test and his passion for driving is infectious. Totally changed my attitude and overhauled my ability to the point the test seemed easy and a tiny first step in a much bigger and exciting skill for life. Gavin is an EXCEPTIONAL teacher and i not only highly recommend him but would berate people for wasting their time elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: When learning to drive it's important to pick the right instructor or you'll get nowhere. Gavin is, I believe, perfect for just about anyone. The patient, understanding, and professional approach to teaching you how to drive that Gavin employs didn't just get me past my test but has set up a strong foundation for my future driving. He's perfect for drivers who are nervous or doubting their ability - he will give you confidence in yourself. I say this personally as I had another instructor for one lesson before I had Gavin and it didn't go well so my confidence was quite low. I was going to try Gavin out and wasn't sure if I'd stick with driving but after the first few lessons with Gavin I just couldn't wait to drive again - I actually looked forward to it. Punctuality-wise it always amazed me how Gavin would arrive on the dot. You won't ever have to worry about him being late. If you have any questions/queries to ask (like I did a few times) the communication is very good and he replies within minutes and will also notify you about any important information in good time. In a final note, I just want to mention that Gavin is very easy to get along with and conversation is easy to initiate if you ever feel like talking, whether it's to help ease your nerves or to just talk. So, if you're looking an instructor who you can get along with, is very professional and punctual then Gavin might be who you're looking for.
