Fantastic experience: Malcolm is a great driving instructor I started with him about 10 months ago and stuck with him ever since and passed first time.

Negative experience: Nutgrove driving school is bad he doesn't know how to customer i called him he was talking where rude

Fantastic experience: I passed first time with Malcolm and I couldn’t recommend lessons with him more!! I looked forward to every lesson, Malcolm was always on time and never let me down. He is very knowledgeable and experienced and good at making you feel comfortable when driving. We always had a laugh during lessons which made them even more enjoyable!! Thanks again Malcolm!!

Fantastic experience: I started with Malcolm in December, and have recently just passed my driving test with only 2 minors. I got on with him really well, he’s patient and very thorough but that got me to test standard quicker than anticipated and passed first time. He never let me down last minute, and was always on time for my lessons. The morning of my test he did everything he could to keep me calm, and go over any last minute things I was nervous about. He explained everything in a very simple and easy to understand way. I feel really confident on the roads now and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone in the future. Fantastic experience: Our son passed his driving test today (which was within 6 months of him turning 17). This was largely due to Malcolm. He is a very professional, experienced driving instructor. Malcolm is firm, but fair - which is exactly what you need from an instructor. We'd strongly recommend Nutgrove Driving School.

Negative experience: Terrible driving instructor! If you're considering contacting Malcolm for lessons, I would suggest looking somewhere else. When I messaged Malcolm I was surprised to see his open availability - now I realise why he had so few students. This man has no patience or empathy for learners which is what would be expected from a driving instructor - maybe actually helping the students improve rather than constant criticism and degrading would be helpful. How can you expect a first-time driver to get everything correct? I dreaded every lesson with Malcolm and after months of this, I decided to stop lessons and look elsewhere for a driving instructor. Luckily I found one which only then helped me realise how terribly I was treated by this man. Having passed my test first time a couple of months ago now, I want to share my experience and warn others of the stress and negativity that accompanies Malcolm's lessons. Terrible experience with this driving instructor, would NOT reccomend.

Fantastic experience: Would definitely recommend Malcolm. Very patient and let’s me know when I do well, but more importantly let’s me know when I do things wrong and helps me improve. You can tell he cares about each student and helped me pass first time.

Negative experience: He said he wouldn't take me on because I enquired about lessons when I was test ready. (previously had lessons elsewhere) Quite blunt on the phone.

After having driving lessons on and off for several years due to my own health problems, I passed today thanks to all Malcolm's help and patience over the years. The constructive criticism and honesty when mistakes are made was extremely helpful in improving my skills when it comes to driving.
