Fantastic experience: From the moment I sat down in Donny’s car he has always created a safe and judgement free learning environment for me. Donny adapted his style of teaching not only as I progressed throughout my lessons and my skills grew but also when helping me face my anxieties while on the road. Donny on numerous occasions has told me about various courses he is taking to understand things like the psychology of drivers and how to generally help students regulate their feelings looking back on their drives as well as during them . If it weren’t for Donny’s initiative to look into these courses ,to better understand students with struggles like me I definitely wouldn’t have passed. THANK YOU DONNY !!!

Fantastic experience: THANKS DONNY!!! From the first time I sat in the car with him to my last drive with him before my test I was at ease. He adapted his way of explaining and teaching to exactly what I needed. He also never got angry or frustrated when I made mistakes but instead assured me it was all part of learning. Donny’s got a wicked taste in music, and I even had the radio station he introduced me to on in my test! In short, he’s a great guy and I couldn’t rate him enough!!

Fantastic experience: I was a PDI but i had my Part 3 test today to become a fully qualified driving instructor and passed with a mark of 45 Grade A. I started off my journey from the beginning with Donald Calder (Part 2 & 3). Donalds help and instructions are of the highest standard and i can honestly say that if it wasn't for Donald the i would not be in the position i am now. Fantastic experience: In my opinion Donny is the best driving instructer in this area. He was calm and patient while teaching me the basics. This slower start staying in the rushden area allows for you to build up a great clutch control, which really helps when u move towards the test centre. U are not worried about your ability to control the car so you can completely focus on your surroundings. From speaking to my friends I discovered being moved to the test centre to quickly becames a burden as u begin to make mistakes and become worried about your driving. They claim to struggle on there clutch control, which I never found with Donny's more methodical approach than there driving instructors. Donny helped me to overcome test day nerves as he reassured me that I could drive the car and to treat it like any other drive. Which resulted in me being able to pass my test.

Fantastic experience: Our 17 year old Daughter has just passed 1st time after 4 months tuition from Donny, she enjoyed learning with him in particular his calm & relaxed approach, he managed to get the best out of her especially on “Test day” as she was obviously nervous. Fantastic experience: I'd previously had an experience with another instructor which led to me stopping lessons and hating the idea of driving for nearly a decade. Fantastic experience: The experience I had with donny as my driving instructor was great. Very chill guy so very easy to get on with. Always spot on with corrections, and making you feel safe during lessons. So much so that during my test I could hear his voice in my head telling me the right things to do and what not to do . Lots of mock tests and good feedback after each one. All round great driving instructor couldn’t recommend him enough.
