Fantastic experience: Jason was an excellent driving instructor, every lesson was well structured with clear topics and targets. With his help I got a first time pass. I would highly recommend Jason and Durham Driving School to anyone looking for lessons and I couldnt think of a better car to learn in either.

Fantastic experience: started my lessons with zero driving experience and jason took his time teaching me from the ground up taking his tike making sure i was where i needed to be before moving on. He always showed interest and care never getting angry when i would make a mistake. could not recommend anyone more.

His communication is clear and never once has let me down. He gave me the confidence that things will go right, even when I was a flustered bag of nerves Thanks to Jason I was able to pass my test yesterday with 2 minors. I could not have done it without the teachings and advice he has given me. Advice that I will continue to use and remember when I am out on the roads myself. Fantastic experience: Definitely a very good driving school! Jason is a very experienced driving instructor and his lessons are well-organised, which allows a lot of ground to be covered throughly each lesson. Jason's lesson structure allows time to reflect on previous sessions, which helps you to progress quickly and know what to expect from each lesson. Having had lessons previously, I was able to pick up from where I had left off, while reinforcing previous knowledge. I was very pleased to pass first time!

Negative experience: Avoid! Unprofessional and unreliable. Response to response: I fully appreciate that and certainly did not expect to be pushed in front of anybody. It’s much better to be fully transparent from the outset though instead of disappointing people!

The structure of lessons was also very helpful to me, at the start of the lesson, looking back on what I did the previous week and what I wished to complete on the lesson. I was nervous to start driving as I had no experience but after a few lessons with Jason I was keen to learn and felt confident. I passed first time following his advice, thanks Jason

Fantastic experience: Jason doesn’t just teach you to drive. Jason teaches you to drive properly. A quality teacher with the patience of a saint. Jason let me drive from day one, no time-wasting; having someone that’s comfortable doing that really bolsters your confidence, and that goes so far when you first start driving. Not once did he ever talk down or belittle me for my mistakes, we’d talk them through and get right back to driving. Something that Jason stands out for is his adaptable teaching. He’s always been able to accommodate what I wanted to get out of the lesson, so everything was tailored to me personally, not some generic and rigid lesson plan that ignores what I need to work on and makes me repeat the stuff I'm already good at. At the end of the lesson, you’ll talk about what went well and what could be improved so you can work out what you need to practice. You can feel that he actually cares that you're improving and that makes all the difference in the learning process. All in all; a quality teacher, a stand-up guy and just a pleasure to learn with.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t have chosen anyone better to teach me how to drive! Jason was really helpful, always giving advice in and out of lessons. He was really supportive from the very start - I had done a little bit of driving before my first lesson with him which he knew about, however, he still gave me the choice to start at the very beginning with the basics. He then tailored the speed of the lesson to my ability and he got it spot on! He always gave me the option of what I wanted to do in what order and when, which made me feel more comfortable about driving. If I was ever unsure about something, he would do anything and everything to put my mind at ease and sort it out. I loved driving as soon as I started, and Jason made it that much more enjoyable. I passed first time thanks to him so I would highly recommend him as an instructor!

Fantastic experience: You literally couldn't ask for a better teacher. Jason won't give up until you've passed your test, and he's really flexible with his teaching methods so he'll actually teach you in way that's helpful instead of just using the same old techniques, so if you don't get something he'll find a way to help you understand it. I was a super anxious driver and he was so understanding and was just amazing for building confidence until I was enjoying driving and didn't even think to worry. Also he is an amazing teacher for the theory, I never felt more confident walking into an exam than I did with that one, and it's all because of Jason's help. I don't think I would've had the confidence to pass my test if it weren't for him. I can't thank him enough.

Fantastic experience: I had really struggled with learning to drive. It’s definitely not something that came naturally. Jason took it at my pace and explained everything, he teaches you to be the best driver, after 5 failed attempts with other instructors (in my youth), I passed first time with him, I was so nervous but he immediately put me at ease and kept me calm and focused, he really built up my confidence and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Not a single lesson was wasted and taught her exactly what she needed at the right time . Every lesson teaching her everything required until before she knew it , it was test time and she had a great understanding of what was needed . She passed first time with only 2 minors .
