Fantastic experience: Gary has been the best instructor I have had after stopping and starting driving over the course of 10 years. He was extremely patient, clear with instructions and has an amazing teaching style that really sticks in your memory. He was not only teaching me how to pass my test but to be a good, safe driver for life, since I was quite a nervous driver. I had 3 hours a week which was just right for me to learn and progress at a pace I was comfortable with. I passed first time in March and was so happy with the outcome!! I know he has a high first time pass rate and that is for a reason. Gary’s YouTube tutorials and content on his page were extremely helpful in backing up my practical driving and learning the knowledge such as road markings, roundabouts, traffic signs and the format of the test. We covered all of the main test routes from the centre I was booked in at so he made sure I knew the roads and was confident going into my test. Gary also went out of his way to help find me a cancellation as I was on a time limit to try to pass before I started a new job. I couldn’t recommend Gary enough - thank you for everything!

I passed my test first time thanks to Gary, he doesn’t just teach you how to pass your test but gets you ready for actually driving. Fantastic experience: Great instructor - I liked how we had the learning adapt to my own pace and that I had a lot of control over what was covered in the lessons so I could fill in gaps that I felt I needed. Knowledgeable and friendly, no complaints!

Fantastic experience: The best instructor! Caters to your own personal learning style and makes lessons challenging but not unachievable, you always feel like a better driver after every week. Very easy to get along with as well and takes any nerves/anxieties that you may have had (I thought I was never going to drive when I started my lessons) out of driving. Also has very helpful resources including his website and YouTube channel at your disposal outside of lessons. I now love driving and passed first time with 5 minors thanks to Gary!

Fantastic experience: Gary is the best driving instructor in the stockport/Reddish area. This brilliant chap taught me how to drive effectively and safely. Spend 10-15 hours with him and managed to pass my test with him getting zero minors!! The free YouTube page he has is packed with detailed information on test routes & ways to drive safely. I can’t honestly stress enough that this is your man! Get some lessons booked and listen to his advice and you’ll be on the road with a pink license in no time! Fantastic experience: I can't really recommend Gary enough. I passed first time and in no way did it feel like a fluke! This was all thanks to the way that Gary conducts his lessons. Every lesson had a clear objective and focus which meant that after finishing a lesson I always knew what I'd learnt and what I had to improve in the next lesson. He was very clear in all his explanations, whether in how to operate the car or what certain rules and regulations mean, and you can tell that his methods are the product of a lot of hours spent with learners like myself. I really appreciated his style of teaching: he was patient when necessary but also to the point when I kept making the same mistakes over and over again! It can be stressful learning to drive if you have no experience, so it's fortunate that he's also a lovely guy who you can have a laugh with him when he's finished telling you off for doing something wrong! Finally, he was very helpful when I was preparing for the theory in recommending good software to use and when it came to the practical he explained exactly how the test would pan out and we did a number of mock practicals so that when it came to the big day I felt totally confident, prepared and at ease about how it was going to pan out! In short, wholeheartedly recommend! Gives you the skills to not only pass but to take with you for the rest of your life on the road!

For every aspect of driving he had a clear and easy to follow plan for how to follow that out so that you feel the least stressed possible in the test. He’s also really easy to get along with. Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Gary enough for getting me through my driving test. From the beginning, Gary was patient and methodical in his approach, ensuring I learned the right skills in the right order. He explained not just the rules of the road, but also why they are so important, and wasn’t hard on me when I made mistakes (of which there were plenty, I’m sure). Thanks to Gary’s personal approach and tailored lesson plans, I was able to pass my test first time with only four minors. It was such a relief knowing that I wouldn’t need to re-take my test – saving time, money and loads of worry! I can only give Nolan School of Motoring my highest recommendations.

Fantastic experience: I started learning with Gary last year. I was really nervous to find a good instructor and i had never driven a car before. Fantastic experience: I found Gary when I was about to give up driving. He was my third teacher. He was able to identify where I struggled and found the best way to help me. Gary is a very good teacher. I passed my driving test first time a few weeks ago and have since been driving confidently in my own car, but I know I could call Gary if I had any problems.
