Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend Guy enough! He got me here, after having started lessons years ago and then not bothering to finish! Under a year of lesson with chevron Altrincham I have passed 1st time with Guys tuition☺️He is very professional, exudes patience and is very accommodating to trying to slot you into lessons. Couldn’t of done it without you thanks again ☺️

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Guy to absolutely anyone! He is the most patient, funny and knowledgeable driving instructor I’ve ever had, I’m 24 I’ve been trying to learn to drive since I was 18, covid hit, then I moved into the area and Guy had been the 3rd instructor I’ve had but was undoubtedly the best I’ve ever had, I passed on my 4th attempt but that’s due to my nerves and silly mistakes I made on my tests. I’m quite sad I no longer have to take lessons because I enjoyed them so much we always had a laugh!!! I’m sure he will definitely miss my swearing If I could give him 10 stars I would

Fantastic experience: I started with Guy last January after putting off driving for many years. I finally decided to take the plunge and Guy has been very helpful throughout the whole process. We didn’t rush it, we went our own pace and it paid off. I managed to pass first time of trying, and it was all thanks to learning the fundamentals. I would highly recommend Guy, whether you are younger and just starting driving or have left it til a little later like me.

Fantastic experience: Guy is a great instructor, creates a really relaxed environment to learn and is super helpful in how you can improve each week. Fantastic experience: Having recently passed my driving test with only two minors, I can’t recommend Guy enough as an instructor. Guy is extremely patient, friendly and always very punctual for our lessons. He is also very reassuring which significantly helped on my test day. Fantastic experience: Guy is a great driving instructor who taught several others that I know so he was highly recommended when it came to me taking lessons. He's very patient and experienced so it's really reassuring to have him next to you whilst learning to drive. Very professional too and will happily work around your schedule. Ignore the 1 star reviews they're all BS.. written by the same bloke. Guy is very genuine and a brilliant instructor.

Fantastic experience: My dad brought a bamboo stick when he was teaching me to drive and would poke me when I did something wrong. He thought it was funny but I struggled with the clutch which left sore hands (he is a good dad usually). I got in touch with guy so I could gain confidence. He really helped and also controlled my over confidence at times. I passed with 3 very minor minors and have also completed pass plus as I was nervous about motorways. It was really worth it as I am a confident but very safe driver now. I'm lucky to have been taught by Guy. Thank you very much!

Fantastic experience: Guy is a very good instructor. As an American with lots of automatic driving experience trying to get my UK manual driving license, he was perfect. Professional, knowledgable, communicative, friendly, skilled, and safe. I passed my test at Sale (got lucky booking a cancellation last minute) and passed with 3 minors.

Fantastic experience: Guy has been my driving instructor over the past 3 years (many stops and starts due to COVID lockdowns!) He has been consistently professional and trained me up from having never driven before, to passing my test on my second time this morning. Fantastic experience: Guy is a very patient, understanding and personable teacher. I always felt at ease during lessons and felt comfortable to ask questions. His demonstrations were always instructive, yet simple and easy to replicate. The pricing is very competitive, and the lessons are well structured. Would have liked to continue my lessons with him but sadly I moved away from the area. Guy refunded me the lessons I was owed without any issues. I would highly recommend Guy to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: Guy is one of the most charismatic, communicative and professional driving instructors I've had the pleasure of meeting - let it be known that the poor reviews here are the exact opposite of my own experience, and that I would recommend Guy to anyone who wants an (almost) guaranteed path to a driving license! Having been taught successfully by Guy, a family member and 3 friends were also successfully taught and passed following recommendation. Being collected & dropped off at my house (or school if the lesson was during the school day!) was also particularly convenient, the pricing was fair, and the sessions were well structured. Guy provides everything you could want in a professional driving instructor - i highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: There are a number of fake reviews out there. Guy is a great driving instructor who taught both of my children to drive. He is kind, honest and 100% trustworthy (in every sense you can think of). I would recommend him without hesitation and get so angry there are people who clearly have never met him who will post negative reviews. Ignore the trolls. Guy is superb at his job. Paul

Fantastic experience: Guy’s teaching is excellent. I really enjoyed my lessons with him and feel as though I was taught very well. His demonstrations and instruction were in detail and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a driving instructor in the Altrincham area.

Fantastic experience: Guy taught my son to drive a few years ago and was excellent, we never had any issues. He passed first time with only 3 minor faults. Now Guy is teaching my youngest son, and again, all good with no issues. He's a decent and genuine bloke. He's taken my son out for a lesson this morning and after me chatting with Guy for a few minutes he's very concerned and upset as he believes someone, for whatever reason, has got it in for him and is determined to keep leaving bad fake reviews under different names. One of the bad reviews on here suggests that all these good reviews are being put up within hours of each other. Well, this might be the case but I suspect it's (like my son and me) a case of genuine customers trying to rally round and help Guy and do what we can to let people know Guy definitely is NOT the sort of person who's being portrayed in these bad reviews. Guy set this business up after being a very successful and respected instructor at another local driving school for many years, and his reputation locally is such that I'm pretty sure he's never had to rely on reviews or advertising for business. (Both my sons had to go on a waiting list to even begin their lessons). And finally, I've looked at the profiles of these one-star reviewers and I notice all of them have not written any other reviews for anything whatsoever, nor do they have any profile details. Make your own mind up!

Negative experience: Truly appalling. Had to stop lessons due to cancelling too many lessons and always trying to make me have 90 minute lessons. After 8.5 hours of lessons I hadn’t driven away from my house or driven home. Out of a 90 min lesson I drove for 20 minutes total. When I ended thinks with the instructor - he turned from very affable - into a totally different person. This made me uncomfortable. Glad to get away from this person.

Negative experience: Absolutely abysmal. My daughter spent hour after hour sitting in the car listening to someone rabbit on endlessly - instead of actually driving. I decided to end lessons. It was going nowhere. She is very happy with new teacher. I have to agree with the other poor reviews - but I suppose it's inevitable that I will get called a fake review by the owner - which appears to be his modus operandi.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't driven for ten years and so booked a refresher lesson with Guy and he was brilliant. He took the time to discuss practice routes over the phone before our lesson and asked if which areas I'd like to focus on. During our lesson, Guy took me on various different roads and was extremely calm and professional throughout. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The best driving instructor out there!. Guy is very patient, understanding and considerate!. He always gives support when feeling a little wobbly during lessons and always has you coming out of the lesson smiling no matter the outcome of the lesson. Definitely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Been learning with Guy for a while now (pandemic related breaks) and I have had fantastic service throughout, brilliant support for theory exam with the online materials (passed that first time) and the whole learning experience has been made easy

Negative experience: I had an awful experience. Very inappropriate - and then wouldn't give me my money back - which was my birthday money. I just got referred to a set of terms and conditions which id never seen before - I Flt really let down.
