Fantastic experience: Honestly, this guy is amazing! Brilliant at getting you learning all the skills needed to drive and a good laugh when in the car too! Passed 2nd time and all, because of him and his advice on the 2nd run. Totally recommend!

Fantastic experience: Jay has been such an amazing driving instructor from teaching me the basics from scratch to helping me to become test ready, he was constantly offering feedback and helping to make improvements in every aspect of my driving, while also being able to have a good laugh along the way. He was always extremely helpful while I was learning to drive, especially when helping to calm my nerves. I would highly recommend, thank you Jay.

Fantastic experience: Jay was a lovely driving instructor helping me pass first time. What I enjoyed about driving lessons was that he was patient and easy to get on with often laughing throughout lessons. Overall I always felt comfortable in lessons and never stressed or self conscious.

Fantastic experience: I passed second time, the first time was due to silly mistakes but jay has been amazing, told me everything how it is and honest with how I was doing always gave me a chance to understand things and learn things the way I prefer while teaching me the correct way to deal with different situations if it did mean screaming clutch and mirrors at me when I just forgot. I would highly recommend Jay even to nervous drivers there’s always something to laugh about in the lesson while understanding which area I wanted to work on and give feedback at the end of the lesson. Always lighthearted so doesn’t feel like there’s any pressure to get things right if you’re not managing easily, pleased i learned with him- would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Jay is an outstanding instructor, I felt comfortable and supported from day one. His lessons are engaging and enjoyable. English is not my first language therefore following instructions can be challenging sometimes. However, Jay's personality, his patience, kindness and friendliness meant that language was not a barrier. I'm beyond grateful for all the teaching and support I have received from him. And I even more grateful that I have acquired this life skill from such an amazing driving instructor. Again, thank you so much Jay and thank you for all the fun lessons we have had.

He would always take time at the start of the lesson to understand what I wanted to work on. Fantastic experience: An excellent driving instructor. Learn with Jay has allowed me to learn all the key skills of driving. Jay’s driving lessons have allowed me to not only effectively prepare for the practical driving test, but also have given me confidence to drive independently in the future. For example, Jay doesn’t rely on just driving test routes as he covers all types of routes. Also, Jay places an emphasis on learning on how to correct driving manoeuvres if the manoeuvre is unsuccessful at the first attempt. I believe that I am now able to park anywhere. Before lessons with Learn with Jay, I relied on being told how to do everything. Now, I can drive fully independently and can trust myself to make safe and fully planned decisions whilst driving. Not only this, but Jay is a very friendly driving instructor, allowing my confidence to grow.

Fantastic experience: Amazing instructor. Always made you feel comfortable in the lessons. Would always start the lesson by asking if there was something specific I wanted to work on and he would always make me feeling confident on it by the end of the lesson. If I ever made mistakes he would always be calm and reassuring about it, giving me plenty of confidence and time to improve on it. Such a funny and lovely instructor, definitely going to miss our chats. Thank you for making my driving lessons a memorable experience :)

Fantastic experience: Jay is a very wholesome and patient instructor who always had my best interests at heart, and helped me with not only my driving ability, but my confidence massively. I was quite a slow learner and needed a lot more hours than typical to get the grasp of driving- I have had a few instructors that haven’t had confidence in me/wasted my money, but Jay definitely was not one of them. He helped me progress for around a year and got me to a good standard of driving, and I was able to pass first time with three minors. The app he uses was also a great help in ensuring we could create goals for subsequent lessons and keep track of payments, progress on skills etc. Despite all of the cheeky sarcasm I will really miss having him as my instructor and seeing him! Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Jay. Great teacher, patient, gives plenty of tips, also really good to chat to. Lets you practice in very easy atmosphere, with no pressure. When going through mistakes he is always calm, allows you to reflect and figure out on your own what when wrong and then guides you in the right direction. Again would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I would fully recommend Jay to née learners and remedial learners like myself. Unlike previous instructors I have had, I never felt my mistakes were dwelled on or that I wanted to leave the car and never drive again. Jay helped me to gain the confidence to regain the long dormant information in my brain and I am now finally after 12 years since I passed, I have a car and I can go for a drive in it. No more buses for me.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! Passed 1st time with Jay with only 4 minors! Jay is an amazing instructor who is very professional, understanding and patient. He’s very friendly and talkative which makes the driving lessons more fun and enjoyable. He’s very knowledgable and always gives his honest opinion and best advice to improve. He quickly picks up on the mistakes that you do but understands that mistakes happen during driving so he will try to understand the roots of why you do mistakes and maybe struggling and help you improve. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Jay as a driving instructor, has a lot of patience and time for people and is very understanding, even if things don’t go your way he is always there for support and help. If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have passed my test. He is always the reason why I am a confident driver, and we always had good conversations when on our lessons and I couldn’t have asked for any more.

Fantastic experience: Jay’s been such an amazing driving teacher, I literally couldn’t ask for more from him. - He’s been patient and understanding when I’ve had moments of panic and anxiety, and he’s helped me to understand what the source of this was. - He brings great banter and conversation to keep the mood light but is also happy to keep quiet when I wanted to concentrate and drive in silence too. - He explains things really well so you’ve actually got an understanding of why you’re changing gear, for example, and what’s happening in the car when you press the clutch, etc. - He gives encouraging constructive criticism. As a perfectionist, I hate making mistakes but Jay made me feel that it’s ok to make them because they are opportunities to learn. Overall very happy with Jay’s service, I used him for around 5 months and passed first time today with 5 minors! Thank you Jay, wishing you all the best!

Fantastic experience: Had a really good time learning to drive with Jay. As a very patient and experienced teacher, he made what I thought was going to be a stressful process a really enjoyable time. Being someone who can take longer to grasp things than others, it was a huge relief that Jay was so friendly and someone you could sit and chat with while driving. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get their license, since with his help I was able to pass first try. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Thank you Jay for his patience and encouragement, as it is very lucky that a nervous driver like myself could pass first time with 3 minors! I struggled for quite a few things in the beginning and he was patient to help me deal with problems one at a time so that I was not overwhelmed. When I was becoming more competent, I had been stressed when making silly mistakes which would often lead to more and more bad decisions. Jay chatted to other driving instructors to learn more about how to deal with student nerves, and we had a long talk, which made me realize he would have my back and it is okay to make mistakes, because this is the way to learn. I am very grateful that he took my bouts of anxiety seriously and helped me overcome this, so that I could stay calm and keep my wits about me when I encounter challenging situations. Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend jay enough he’s the man From day one he makes you feel comfortable and at ease which is great for people who’s not done much driving, real top bloke with good crack right the way through your lessons with him, he would happily come out his way to pick me up from different places each week due to work nothing was a bother for him, i honestly couldn’t recommend him enough Got jay just out of pure luck and was the best thing that could of happened, thanks again jay your the man Hopefully see you on the roads

Fantastic experience: Passed first time under Jay's tuition. He's quick to help you spot any mistakes in your driving and he works with you in a professional and encouraging way to help you sort them. He knows what you need to improve on and he knows how to challenge you during lessons so that you can become a better driver. He also isn't afraid to do things like take you on the motorway once he feels you're ready, unlike some other driving instructors. I booked my test 6 months in advance, but I'm confident that if I were able to book a test at short notice he would have had no issues in letting me know when I was ready for a test. He won't beat around the bush when it comes to how you can improve but at the same time you can have some good banter with him. Would definitely recommend him!

Fantastic experience: I’m very grateful for having Jay as my instructor. He is very patient, professional, understanding and good motivator. He was also open to change his schedule to fit my workaholic one. He will not only teach you to pass your driving test but to be a good driver. At the end of your course you will feel your confidence on the road, checking of mirrors and driving will become natural to you, he doesn't blame you if you did wrong instead he motivates you to learn from your mistakes. Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Jay highly enough. Really good approach to teaching, varied the pace of learning depending on my level of confidence and experience each week really helped me. I had a low level of confidence with driving and let things get to me too much but he knew how to approach that reassuringly and how best to get me past each challenge along the way. Really knowledgable, the things he drilled into me were spot on with what my examiner commented on as well so was really good to know that my instructor was completely in sync with what was covered in the final test. If you are looking to start learning to drive then 100% you should do it with Jay.
