Fantastic experience: Amer was my driving instructor. He was calm and patient with me. English isn’t my first language but he can also speak hindi, urdu and punjabi. He explained everything to me in my native tongue and when i didn’t understand he found another way to explain it to me. The lessons were very enjoyable. I would highly recommend him to anyone!!!

Fantastic experience: Amer is a great driving instructor, I had only one lesson with him before I started driving in the UK in Sept 2023, I met him again for lessons when I wanted to take my practical exam but he had just one slot for me, He gave me the YouTube link to watch some of his videos on the Southampton route, and also made himself available to answer my many questions. I had a friend whom Amer also put through that passed at the first attempt. I did my test and passed on the first attempt, my joy knows no bound... Fantastic experience: I passed first time with Amer at Maybush Southampton. Amer is a straight up honest instructor, he provides constructive criticism and he easily picks up my faults and helped me correct them in order to pass my test with flying colours. Being able to drive is one thing but passing is another, Amer makes sure that you’re test ready. The lessons are with every penny, you will not regret. Amer has a bubbly personality and makes me laugh, the lessons were fun and enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Amer is honestly an amazing, intuitive instructor. I couldn't believe I passed first time but he never had any doubts. Amer is calm, knows his stuff, works at your individual pace, is positively supportive and puts you at ease. At 41, I was keen to get my licence and he helped me achieve this and the process was enjoyable. He gave me the confidence and encouragement, every step of the way. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Amer Iqbal is the best instructor one could ever ask for when booking for driving classes. He’s patient, professional, calm and so polite. My supervisor at work gave me his contact when I was having difficulty in getting a driving instructor. This test meant a lot to me cos it was attached to my job. I was scared of not being able to drive anymore in the Uk with my international driver’s licence cos I had less than a month to the expiration of the date. I explained all these to him and he assured me that with a couple of lessons with him, and a lot of practice with my car on my own side, passing shouldn’t be a problem. Best driving school in Southampton Passed with 2 minors I had just been dropped by another driving instructor a couple of weeks before my test date and was recommend by a friend to take driving lessons from this driving school. I’d had over 30 hours of driving with a former guy and genuinely believed I was close to driving independently. However, my first lesson with my new instructor Amer showed me I wasn’t test ready. Amer is a lovely chap, observant, patient and very knowledgeable. He quickly identified my deficits in knowledge and practice and addressed them. He adapts to his students learning needs and always goes the extra mile. He teaching style is probably the best that I have come across and his approach is very relaxed but informative. Worked for me!!!

Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to get Amer Iqbal as my instructor. He words and teaches real life driving, he makes sure you understand everything and tells you why you are doing what you are doing. I had my test in october but he told me to find a cancellation and said i was ready, i passed in august first time. If needed he will give you homework and if you do it you will really benefit as it only took 10 lessons in a manual for me to pass but he did say i was a natural and i hadn't drive before. He’s now opened his own driving school and I wish him all the best you are a great instructor and the students you teach will be lucky to have you as an instructor
