Negative experience: Darnelle constantly late, long breaks, snappy, unprofessional, rude, straight up lying multiple times about locations to meet & schedule - not what is expected

I had the privilege of being taught by both Darnelle and Joseph and I passed first time ! I used to struggle with driving anxiety, but their gentle encouragement and breaks when I needed it helped me through my learning journey. Fantastic experience: I took only 6 hours of lessons with Darnelle and passed my test on the first try. Granted I knew how to drive in my own country, but Darnelle was very effective at teaching me to drive on the other side, getting familiarised with UK roads, and getting me ready for the test. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I passed my test today and I couldn't be more thankful to Darnelle! Because I had some experience, I only booked 2 lessons (4h) before the test day and Darnelle was incredible! He's very calm, professional and clear when giving instructions, he helped me to feel more confident. Fantastic experience: I would really recommend Darnelle as a driving instructor, who was recommended to me by a friend. Having passed my test nearly 10 years ago and never driven since, I was looking to build my confidence and feel comfortable driving again. Fantastic experience: Darnelle is an excellent driving instructor, he takes his time explaining how to do different basic vehicle maintenance skill and have great communication skill, telling me what I need to work on and how to tackle these issue to improve them so I be able to be ready for the driving practical test. I have had lessons with other different driving instructor and I found that they just want me to book many lesson just for them to get some money in their pocket but darnelle is different. He is driven to help you pass the first time which I did thanks to him. I really needed to pass quickly due to one of my family member needed an big operation and I needed to pick him up from the hospital. So we made a plan within 3 months of practicing, done 60 hours lessons and I was able to drive to collect my family member. So graceful for his help.

Fantastic experience: Darnelle is an exceptional driving instructor. Before learning with Darnelle, I had been taught prior to meeting Darnelle by 3 other instructors whom I all found unsatisfactory. I had troubles finding a genuine instructor as I found that some would either not be attentive, professional or try to teach me minimal so that I would book more lessons in an attempt to make money off me. Darnelle was none of these I mentioned. The first time I had a lesson with Darnelle , he asked me what I already knew and tested me on controls before we drove off. He then tested my moving off and stopping. We then drove off and observed my driving correcting me on things I could do better and at the end of the lesson , he had drew up an action plan of what he wanted us to work on for the next few weeks. To me this highlights the professionalism in Darnelle and how much he wanted me to pass. In terms of his character, he is very patient and calm which helped me a lot as when I would make a mistake or stall he would make me feel a lot better about myself, because as a learner, it’s very easy to start to panic. He’s also very observant and knowledgeable. During lessons, he would always monitor my speed, make it a habit that I’m looking at road signs and prompt me about checking my mirrors; this is because previously, prior instructors just told me I can drive and would sit back and relax but wouldn’t pay attention to the details like what Darnelle does. I highly recommend Darnelle as an instructor and it’s by no surprise that his hard work is reflected in his high pass rate

Fantastic experience: Trust me you can't go wrong with JKF Driving School, my instructor Darnelle was the best. He was patient and so calm with me....I learnt alot from him, road sign, roundabout and all most importantly to be confident in myself and be aware of my surrounding at all time when driving but one thing I owe him for and grateful for is the commentaries driving he tought me. These are some of the things that is still helping me now even in my day to day driving and I am great I chose JKF. Keep scoring high guys.

Fantastic experience: I had a really good experience with my instructor Joseph ! I had a few instructors prior to meeting Joseph and I'm really glad I met him. Before proceeding with my lessons, I had a chat with Joseph after my experience with other instructors, they tended to start me off from scratch despite having prior lessons, I no longer wanted to have someone teaching me from scratch/beginner level , as I already had lessons , I wanted help to brush up on my driving and assistance to just pass Joseph respected and acknowledged this which I am really appreciated. Fantastic experience: I had been through 2 previous instructors, including AA, before finally giving JKF a try. Both of my previous instructors had failed to push me to achieve my goal. Maybe they had too many other students to worry about, but I just didn’t get the time I needed. Which is why I was delighted with JKF, Joseph took time with me & was very patient. I felt like he was personally invested in ensuring I got my license. And even though it took a few tries, I finally did. Best Driving instructor ever!

Fantastic experience: I would recommend JKF driving if you are looking to pass your test and also be a safe driver for life.
