Fantastic experience: We would highly recommend Graham. Our daughter was very nervous about learning to drive. Graham began by helping Olivia feel comfortable in the car and gain her confidence behind the wheel. He tailored the lessons to suit what she was struggling with. He was calm, patient and encouraging and put her at ease when she felt anxious or had a little wobble. Olivia passed her test with 3 minors and it’s like sitting next to a different person now when she drives - I feel happy and confident, knowing she is a good, confident driver. Thanks so much Graham! Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a driving instructor, I cannot recommend Graham highly enough! After a frustrating experience with a previous instructor who was impatient and unclear, I stopped driving for 8 years. I started driving again with Graham in June 2024, and it was a complete turnaround and a fantastic decision! His calm, kind, and supportive approach instantly put me at ease, and his incredible knowledge made every lesson both productive and enjoyable. Graham has a unique talent for explaining things clearly and simply, whether it was parallel parking, navigating roundabouts, or mastering road safety. No matter how many mistakes I made, he never lost his patience and always encouraged me to learn and improve, and I am so proud of my confidence and abilities on the road today! Thanks to Graham’s guidance, I passed my driving test with only 3 minors! Fantastic experience: Graham is an amazing driving instructor that I would confidently recommend. I was quite nervous to learn to drive but Graham helped me to feel at ease in the car all throughout our lessons. He was very patient and understanding when I found elements of driving difficult to complete and always explained tasks clearly. Graham provided clear communication about lessons and always provided resources to support my learning which was especially helpful because I did not have the opportunity to drive in my own time. Lessons always felt planned and the app he uses was great to track my progress throughout my journey learning to drive. He is a friendly and professional driving instructor who has helped me feel I can drive safely and confidently on my own. Fantastic experience: Edit: October 2024 - Our daughter has now ecstatically passed her test with Graham. Graham once again, has been brilliant at what he does, putting enormous thought and care into getting the best from his student. Graham gave Lizzie the confidence to learn to drive well and overcome any hiccups. It is testament to his teaching that she is now happily driving herself around and I am not a nervous wreck! I would unhesitatingly recommend Graham as a driving instructor and can only reiterate my original review below. We are really pleased with the way he taught both our children to drive, and the drivers they have become because of it. June 2023: Graham's patience and support has been exemplary throughout our son's journey from nervous learner driver to obtaining his full UK licence. Right from our first meeting, when Graham came to meet Michael before getting in a car with him, he has been incredibly professional. Graham gives great thought to his teaching, tailoring it to each student and communication is a great strength. Graham seems to be a great judge of character and is evidently dedicated to getting the best out of his students. He's also a cheerful, friendly man who readily puts people at ease. I never hesitate to recommend him as a driving instructor. (And no, we're not related!)

Fantastic experience: Learning to drive with Graham has been such a great experience! He’s so calm and reassuring and really helped me believe in myself and my driving skills. Fantastic experience: I'm probably not one of Graham's 'normal' students - in my 70's with a lost licence for medical reasons, but with the opportunity to take a DVLA assessment for re-issue. Graham came to my rescue with a few lessons prior to the assessment at which he provided just the right amount of advice and help needed. The outcome was successful, so my thanks to Graham for his invaluable help.

Fantastic experience: Graham did exactly what it says on the side of the tin! My son was super confident at the outset of his learning to drive journey but hysterically he returned home after his first lesson realising that it might not just be as simple :). My son was made to feel at ease and did pick up the concept very quickly with Graham`s friendly and confident approach. We were kept well aware of my sons progression and were able to pursue the issues noted when taking him out in our own car. Above all else Graham is a great communicator, remaining clear and concise. Most importantly was Graham`s ability to work around my son`s commitments around school and work, which was really important to us. Fantastic experience: Having not had any formal lessons for a long time, I booked in with Graham to ensure I was up to speed and ready for my test (my sister had passed with him last year and recommended him). Graham was an excellent teacher – he was patient, every week he would ask if there were any areas I wanted to cover, he always made notes which we would run through at the end of the lesson (very useful) and overall he was friendly, calm, helpful and made the learning experience very positive indeed. Fantastic experience: Where do I start… Graham has been the most, helpful, caring, calm and reassuring driving instructor I’ve had the pleasure to learn with. Having not had a driving lesson with an instructor for 11+ years a lot has changed and I was feeling super nervous. But after my first lesson with Graham I felt at complete ease and it was if I’d known him for years. The whole structure of the lesson is superb, from setting targets at the beginning of the lesson to the driving to recapping the lesson and setting targets for next lesson. The driving app is a great help as I can see everything discussed from the lesson as well as lots of videos to watch. I can’t thank Graham enough for helping me pass my test and giving me the confidence to drive. Thank you for everything G man - will truly miss my lessons with you but I’ll be taking away all the wisdom & knowledge you have taught me :)

Fantastic experience: I have passed first time after learning to drive with G! G has a high tech, ever-evolving approach. I particularly appreciated weekly reports so I new what to practice between lessons, with an attitude of 'always room for improvement'. A good bloke too.

Fantastic experience: Super instructor. I passed first time with 6 minors! He goes with a pace that you are comfortable with, makes lessons interactive and student led - at the beginning of each lesson you discuss what you want to get out of the driving lesson. Although I was nervous with the pace at one point, Graham reassured me, taking time out of his evening to email me that I’m making good process and not to panic. Very friendly and trustworthy.

Fantastic experience: The learning experience is very good. We would discuss the goals of the lesson at the start and any questions I had. At the end of the lesson we would discuss it, what went well, what to improve on and what the next lesson's focus would be. I am thankful to have had Graham as a driving instructor as his lessons prepared me for my practical driving test which I passed first time.

Fantastic experience: Passed first time since having lessons with Graham. He is super friendly and helpful which creates the perfect environment to learn in. Graham's always there to answer any questions and tailors the driving lessons to suit your needs and level which I know from past experiences that this is not always the case. He also asks you as an individual what you need and what you feel you need to practice which is really important. Fantastic experience: I passed my test with Graham at the end of September 2021. Graham explains each part of the lessons in good detail, was able to explain things in a way I was able to understand as being dyslexic I sometimes found it hard to remember which way to turn the steering wheel when we where doing lessons like parallel parking. Graham also had handouts for students to evaluate the lesson and what the student wanted to do the next lesson. Thank you for having the confidence in me passing my test and teaching me I highly recommend Graham, in the future I will be booking with Graham for dual carriageway and motorway lessons
