Fantastic experience: I am happy to say it was a superb experience with instructor Rosie from Lloyds driving school. Passed one time and would highly recommend as the preparations were identical to what I experienced during the actual test. Learning with Rosie was fun and engaging, I highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: Rosie has helped me pass my driving test now, I couldn’t recommend her more for anyone! She handles your anxiety and stress very well and does so in a way that reassures you. She forms a good relationship with you, I always looked forward to my driving lessons. And she is very reliable. If you’re looking to learn in an automatic I would definitely go with Rosie. Best driving instructor out there.

Fantastic experience: As of today I have passed my driving test. It has been a pleasure learning with Ian Burr and could not recommend him high enough! From the very first driving lesson Ian has made it an encouraging and enjoyable environment that made me feel at ease behind the wheel. Ian's teaching style was supportive + encouraging breaking down every step during my lessons. I gained not only skills from driving but also a built up confidence whilst on the road. Negative experience: Not happy with my experience here, started lessons in October and after 6 months and a lot of money paid to the company, my instructor decided I would not be able to continue lessons after not following a 48 hr cancellation due to work reasons. As much as i understand a policy with only 4 weeks left till my test and over a grand given to the company I would expect a bit more from them. I recently joined with another company to which the instructor was very informative and helped me along the whole lesson giving me pointers, he was also suprised with how many hours I had done I didn’t know any of the basic things. I did not receive this in any of my lessons at loyds and pretty much was made to do my own thing and given directions. Would definitely not recommend and a waste of money and time.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test yesterday first time with one minor! Steve is easily the best instructor I’ve had, I’m now 30 years old and have taken lessons on and off over the years, Steve was patient, experienced & made my lessons enjoyable :) Thankyou again!! Couldn’t have done it with anybody else!

Fantastic experience: Passed my test today and couldn’t recommend Ian enough! He taught to such a high standard and was incredibly calm, patient and supportive, especially with me being a nervous driver and sometimes getting quite emotional. I would recommend him to anyone and I am incredibly glad to have had him as my instructor.

Fantastic experience: Sam came highly recommended from another parent when we were looking for driving lessons in Hull for our daughter. She had just started at university in Hull when her driving test was scheduled for November at home. Having had lessons at home, she wanted to continue with her driving practice in Hull to be ready for her test. She said that Sam was patient and always gave her good feedback on what she could improve on. He always communicated well with her and us, which was very reassuring as we never actually met him, just spoke on the phone! She passed her test and we are very grateful for all Sam's input. Thank you very much, Sam, for helping Ash to become the confident driver she now is! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sam to anyone seeking a driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic driving school. I'm currently being taught by Sam who's a great instructor. If you make a mistake he always makes sure you know what you've done wrong and how to correct it and do it better next time. He's friendly and calm which makes driving much more relaxing and the lessons more enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: I passed first try after a few months of lessons with Ian. He's a fantastic guy and it was an absolute pleasure to learn with him, he made me look forward to my lessons and made learning to drive an extremely positive experience. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn to drive with a calm, patient and skilled instructor.

Fantastic experience: It's hard to write a review when it's something that you can't easily shop around to compare, but my experience learning to drive with Lloyds was definitely worth it, and Rosie helped me through from beginning to end. In the end I passed on my first attempt with 5 minors, and that was with just over 40 hours of lessons and no other practice. While driving is (on the whole) fun, you will make mistakes that need to be addressed and worked on so that you can become a safe driver. I felt that I had a good experience with my instructor. She encouraged me to succeed and be a competent driver while helping me to reflect on how to improve.

Negative experience: Really poor use to get cancelled on all the time would not recommend only bothered wiv me when I was paying for houre and half lesson the minute I dropped to houre lessons use to get cancelled on nearly every week for months went nearly 6 weeks wiv out a lesson once then the instructor tried to go me to do automatic

Fantastic experience: Passed my test today all thanks to Ian. We had around 15 lessons and taught me to a very high standard. He was patient, calm and overall amazing. Ian was extremely accommodating with me and my schedule and squeezed me in where he could. I couldn’t recommend anyone more. I’ve had 4 instructors in the past and he is by far the best I’ve ever had. Thank you Ian.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant from day one, after failing test 3 times prior in 2018 and haven't driven since then, i booked my tests and searched everywhere for an instructor, Lloyds got back to me asking my situation, after replying, within a day I was contacted by Sam, booked on for a refresher lesson for a week or so later. Brilliant instructor! Helped build my confidence, helped understand certain things, explained everything perfectly clear. Went through everything you need to go through with routes etc. Availability was great and plenty of chances to practice manoeuvres. Will definitely be recommending! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Hi I’m Vinnie, I have held my provisional now for many years (too many if I’m honest), Ian’s been my instructor now for a few months, not only does he have a great calm and easy approach but explains what’s needed in a relatable way, I am test ready and rearing to go all thanks to the teaching and guidance I have had from Ian, not only that but also his support and understand, can’t get better anywhere he is a totally decent chap that is incredibly good at what he does

Fantastic experience: Throughout my experience so far with Lloyds, I can assuredly say that the level of teaching is of a high standard. The detailed explanations and examples, the constant feedback at the start and throughout each lesson, and the maturity and care collectively make learning to drive a wonderful experience. I’ve recommended Lloyds to some friends who had driving lessons from different companies in the area, and they themselves felt more assured and comfortable driving with them. As well, the atmosphere created between myself and the instructor is great, I feel absolutely comfortable and supported in and out of lessons.

Negative experience: The instructor with a red ford focus, awful to say the least, overloads you with information and expect you to know everything off the start, worst driving experience I've had, would not recommend, someone needs an early retirement.
