Go Driving - Manual & Refresher Lessons

Negative experience: Just watched an "instructor" (no one else in vehicle) in an orange car drive dangerously on Belmont road. Today 16.15. Granted the traffic is heavy (as always) but cars were merging from the bridge by Asda. A black car slowed down to allow a bus AND the car behind it to roll forward and it obviously wasn't trying to get ahead as it merged from the right, but It was at least another car ahead of this instructor. At this point the instructor speed up and blocked the car from merging down the road. A stand of seemed to happen where neither car would "give in". Disgusting unsafe attitude towards driving from someone who teaches others and should know better. When you teach people remind your instructors neither car has right of way but it's always safest to allow a car that is ahead to merge as the black did with the bus and even the car behind the bus.

I had 2hour lessons every week for a couple months and slowly built up my confidence. Sandy was incredibly patient and made sure I felt ready to take the practical test. Fantastic experience: If you're wondering what company to go with for your driving lessons then I'd seriously recommend SANDY from GO DRIVING. Sandy is very calm and kind and his teaching is to a very high and professional standard. My son was so nervous to start with, and from his first lesson this had totally changed. In only 5 months he's now passed his test first time with just 2 minors! One excellent feature with using Sandy from Go Driving is that once you've passed your theory test he will then sort your practical test bookings etc. Such a huge help to have someone to do this for you. Fantastic experience: My instructor Greg was brilliant. I started lessons after not driving since before lockdown and he was accommodating from the start - I did semi-intensive lessons with a lesson every day for 3 weeks. Greg is a genuinely nice guy, very relaxed which helps you to feel comfortable in the car. He knows his stuff, explains things very clearly and I'd happily recommend him to anyone looking to start driving lessons in Hereford. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely delighted to say that my two children, both passed first time with Andy from Go Driving! My daughter passed within six months of her first lesson. My son started driving during the trying times of the pandemic and coped with long stretches of no driving during the various lockdowns. I totally recommend Andy; he is professional, patient, and great with his students.

Fantastic experience: Andy is an amazing and committed driving instructor, I’m so happy I found him. Andy’s lessons are well structured and I felt like I was making decent progress each week under his guidance. I had a very awkward living/working situation throughout the summer but Andy was so flexible and accommodating of that, going above and beyond to help prepare me for the practical test. I passed first time which I am super proud of and I owe a lot of credit to my instructor! Wholly recommend GoDriving if you’re thinking about learning to drive, very reasonably priced for the quality of lessons!

As an anxious learner who had been having lessons on and off for over 3 years, and after a bad experience with a past instructor, I was really skeptical that I would ever pass my test. Fantastic experience: 4th of my children passed this week with Andy at Go Driving. Teaching during the Covid restrictions must have caused a lot of adaptations needed but all handled perfectly and safely with brilliant results. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had my test booked march, unfortunately due to covid it was cancelled. When I eventually got the chance to rebook a date, the whole team joined together to get me to my test, due to it being so soon. I passed first time with them. I would highly recommend they are a super friendly, dedicated team. 10/10!

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! I had Andy as my driving instructor who was patient, had excellent communication, very affable and humorous. His is teaching methods were extremely professional as well as having clear objectives for the lessons.However also making it a tailor made experience by always asking whether there was anything I wanted to work on, or wasn’t confident with first. Fantastic experience: Had Cliona as a driving instructor. I was a slow learner and she was endlessly patient with me. Very accommodating towards fitting in my lessons even after I had left for university. Took me from being someone who was terrified to even get in a car to someone who actually managed to pass their test. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: With endless help and support from Andy, I passed my test first time within 6 months. I was nervous to start learning to drive, but he taught me the procedures calmly and understood where I was going wrong and helped me improve, allowing my confidence to grow quickly. Not only this, but at the start of each lesson he would ask me if there were any areas I would like to practice and would sometimes even completely change lesson plans to fit what I thought I needed to improve and thus you very much makes you feel that you are working as a team. He made the lessons lighthearted and enjoyable and made the experience of learning to drive the best it could've been. 5 stars to Andy and the Go Driving team⭐️

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Go driving Hereford, Sandy was great and very patient. If like me you are an older driver (40) it can be challenging and requires some patience on the instructors part, Sandy has this in buckets. he is quiet,calming and in no way aggressive. if you have had bad experiences with other instructors i would recommend calling go and asking for Sandy Shaw

Fantastic experience: I asked Go Driving for a towing lesson to tow a large caravan. Although many years of driving under my belt but not having towed before, I was feeling apprehensive. Andy has a very calming approach and created all the potential scenarios that I might encounter when towing. He is very professional, knowledgeable and patient and has given me a useful frame of reference and renewed confidence. I feel empowered and free and now ready for an adventure on the open road. Fantastic experience: Go Driving was an excellent choice, my instructor Andy took my through all the steps at a pace which suited me and put me at ease, allowing me to ask questions without hesitation. He was very quick and effiecnt at booking the test as well, when he know I was ready.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, Fun and brilliantly taught, every lesson I had with Andy from Go Driving made me feel confident and helped me to really enjoy the driving experience and even better, the confidence I was given through my lessons helped me pass first time! Each lesson was tailored to a learning pace which made me feel comfortable with any new skill introduced and helped me learn quickly to cope with any situation on the road. Even when I made mistakes Andy was incredibly patient and talked through exactly what I could do to avoid it in the future and it meant I was never made to feel down-heartened or that I couldn't do it; Instead I was made to feel that I had the ability to learn to do everything required to drive well and I was even taught beyond the syllabus needed to pass the test. This meant that after passing I knew that I hadn't just been taught to pass the test I had been taught be be a confident and proficient driver for life. I couldn't recommend Go Driving enough.

Despite being nervous and doubting myself, Andy worked with me to develop my confidence at a pace that worked well for me. Before i knew it i was gaining more confidence, invaluable knowledge and advice that will benefit me for life. Andy was brilliant and always made me laugh even when i didn't feel things were going well. I firmly believe that if it wasn't for Andy and Go Driving i would of given up, i never thought that i would be able to say that i PASSED 1st time in a manual! So if you're thinking about learning, or you gave up for whatever reason, push past whatever is stopping you and give Go Driving a call. You won't regret it!
