Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dev for your driving tuition. He is very patient, provides lots of comprehensive explanations and is a keen observer, both of you, the student and other drivers. He has extensive local knowledge of Hereford which he puts to good use with every lesson. He has an intuitive feel for any difficulties you are having and will provide personalised techniques and strategies to deal with them. Most important of all he is a very good teacher. I passed first time with Dev.

Fantastic experience: I’m still completing my driving lessons and have a few weeks before my test. Every lesson my instructor (Roy) is on the ball and always helping me to drive better, every little mistake I make is explained to me and how I can avoid it next time. This really helps and you can tell at Hereford driving school they genuinely care about their students and work their hardest to help everyone pass. Many of my friends have lessons for cheaper rates but their instructors are nowhere as near as understanding of their students and hardworking as instructors at Hereford driving school! Highly recommend, 100% worth the price. Thanks to my incredible instructor Roy I now feel confident and safe on the road and ready for my test.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test in the first attempt on October 29,2020. Dev is an amasing instructor and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than him. He had structured the lessons perfectly without even you realising that everything was covered. He encouraged me to challenge myself, which motivated me to push my limits. ( especially the last week before my driving test, I pushed harder and booked intense classes as it’s really important for you to get your hands on the wheels to be a safe driver) He really went above and beyond to help me be calm and confident for my test! Can't recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: Dev is an Excellent driving instructor , booked a driving test in Hereford without having a driving Instructor he managed to squeeze me in at such short notice ,I had to do an extended driving test which is double the time and dev got me ready for it in just a ten hour intensive driving course , I am from wales so I have never drove in Hereford , dev makes you feel so comfortable puts loads of effort and time into our lessons he spots out what your good at and what your not and really works out the bad things the best way possible for you to get over them , great results and come out of the test with a pass and only 2 minors in a 90 minute test wouldn’t of been able achieve these results without dev. Would highly recommend Hereford driving school thanks a lot once again dev

I almost gave up until someone introduced me to Hereford Driving School. I can now say I’m very confident at the wheel as Dev helped me overcome this & was very patient with me. Fantastic experience: Dev prepared me for my driving test and without his instruction I would not have passed. Hereford Driving School have lovely instructors, specifically Dev who taught me everything I needed to know to pass the driving test and all of the things to look out for. Notes for future students, make sure to truly 'check mirror(s) first and then signal', 'do your five point checks at all times when required (moving off safely, etc) and communicate out loud that you are doing them during exam' and most importantly practice any manoeuvres you are unsure of, the more practice the more comfortable you will feel on exam day. Also if you are new to Sat Nav, make sure to get very comfortable following sat nav instruction as this will be the first part of your exam. Fantastic experience: I have been driving for years before coming to the UK. The driving style I used to was completely different from that I should do while driving in the UK. Getting rid of the bad or different techniques and implementing new driving skills would be very hard without the guidance of a professional instructor. Thank you Dev for your help. Fantastic experience: I had 12 hours practice with Dev who is one of the best instructor in town.He is extremely patient and would have a chat to make you less nervous and increases your confidence. As I am a doctor in Hereford County Hospital and with my odd working hours, he would go above and beyond his diary to help find a suitable date and time. I just had my exams a couple of hours ago and managed to pass on my first attempt. Tips for exams : Be there early,deep breaths,trust Dev and have fun!

Negative experience: Dev Kumar has handled the intensive driving course he accepted absolutely appallingly - he accepted the course online - then claimed he knew nothing about it - He then didnt have a clue how the intensive courses are run and tried to get the student to spread the course out over 4 to 5 weeks !!!! He claims to carry out many intensive courses so beware of booking with Hereford Driving School as it appears they dont carry them out as accepted.

Fantastic experience: Okay, I know people on the internet are prone to exaggeration, but Dev is THE BEST driving instructor you can find, and Hereford Driving School is THE BEST driving school out there. I started my driving journey three years before I had the pleasure of lessons with Dev; I did a few bitty lessons here and there whilst at university, which taught me nothing and, frankly, only knocked my confidence. I was scared of the road, didn't trust myself or other cars and constantly felt jittery behind the wheel. In just one week (genuinely, I did 35 hours starting on a Friday with my test the next Monday), Dev turned me into an extremely confident and competent driver, who could deal with any scenario – and of course, pass their driving test first time. My driving test took place in the middle of 'Storm Ciara' (aka, diabolical weather with sheet rain and high winds), and I only had two minor faults – all because Dev had expertly prepared me for any and every scenario. With Dev's help, I went into the test with a calm attitude and all the necessary skills to ace it. My top tip? LISTEN carefully to what Dev has to say, and take his advice when he suggests 'Commentary Driving' (which means talking through every decision, movement and manoeuvre you make on the road). I did commentary driving throughout my lessons and test, and at the end of the test my examiner said: "Anyone who can do 'Commentary Driving' for 40 minutes deserves to pass!" So, train hard and fight easy with Dev :) THANK YOU DEV/HDS!

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend this driving school enough!! Dev my instructor was amazing, patient and straightforward. He didn't let me apply for my test until I was ready. As I had failed my test before I had lost confidence in driving but Dev helped me regain the strength to try again. I was a slow learner and he was endlessly patient with me. Also very accommodating towards fitting in my lessons with my college and work time table. I couldn’t of passed without his help!
