Fantastic experience: Excellent instructor that cares about your driving and you!!! I had ten lessons with Tim and passed first time, it was over the span of a year but that was down to my work-life balance, when it came down to lessons and the test Tim always made himself available and was helpful throughout the whole process, the experience made me a better driver and person. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to drive the right way and pass their test!! Top notch

Fantastic experience: Tim was a genuine lifesaver! Honestly couldn't recommend him enough, he made driving feel so stress free and explained things in an amazing way which helped me wrap my mind around manoeuvres and rules I didn't think I'd ever understand. His support during my tests were incredible, he went above and beyond to send me helpful guides and offer advice outside of lesson time, and I couldn't be happier now I have passed. If you are looking for a friendly, approachable instructor who really knows his stuff then look no further :)

I always felt comfortable driving Tim's car, even in the beginning when we didn't know each other very well. Fantastic experience: Tim has been such an amazing instructor, I feel so lucky to have had him. From the very beginning he was so kind fitting me into his schedule, and I love that he uses an app with reminders for upcoming lessons. He is super chilled and patient, and made me feel at ease behind the wheel so I actually really enjoyed the lessons while also seeing great improvements. He breaks things down really well into manageable steps, including useful tips to make things like manoeuvres less daunting. I swear he is also so good at knowing what's going on in your head as you drive, even if you don't say it aloud XD 100% recommend him as an instructor!

Fantastic experience: Tim has been the absolute best instructor for my son Rhys. From the first lesson he was full of encouragement and helped him build so much confidence. As a parent, mixed emotions are felt when your son/daughter enters the next milestone, but Tim was fully understanding of both parent and student. Fantastic experience: I was a little apprehensive about trying to arrange driving lessons for my daughter. Tried a recommendation, called a few others, waited days for a reply or ‘sorry can’t help until 2025’. Then on the list was Learn to Drive with Tim Harris. What a revelation! Tim could not have done more to help. From arranging lesson times, feedback with direction and pointers to help while she was driving with me to arranging a short notice test. Tim uses an app with reminders about lessons for forgetful students, alerts to advise cancellation vacancies and generally keeping track of progress. On top of all that help and advice, my daughter says he’s great to drive with and thoroughly enjoyed the lessons. Test prep and mock tests, a first time pass, there’s nothing but a glowing 5 stars for Learn to Drive with Tim Harris. Highly recommended without reservation.

Fantastic experience: As a parent finding the right instructor to teach our son to drive was really important. And in Tim we definitely found the right person. He was just what our son needed with the right mix of instruction, encouragement and humour. Tim was professional in his approach, replying quickly to any questions and giving helpful advice for us as parents in supporting our son when he began driving our car. It’s been a really positive experience all round and I would highly recommend Tim if you are looking for a driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: By the time I passed my test I had just done over 30 hours of driving and Tim was brilliant. He created a positive atmosphere and approach to teaching which made it possible and actually enjoyable learning to drive. Overall I couldn’t recommend anyone better.

Fantastic experience: From the initial enquiry to Jack passing his test, Tim has been nothing but excellent, in fact faultless. Not only has he been a brilliant instructor, teaching Jack to such a high standard he passed first time with one minor, he has continued to boost Jack’s confidence throughout each driving lesson. One thing to add, as Jack is our first child of driving age, Tim has reassured me throughout and always offered his help and support as and when needed. I would truly highly recommend Tim to all new drivers (and parents) in and around Shrewsbury.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic Driving Instructor. I'm an older guy (34) always been very nervous to even attempt doing my driving licence to the point that I put it off for 17 years. I have had lots of lessons over the years with different driving firms but had never thought I would ever get to the point that I would pass my test. I got set up with Tim and he really breezed me through and gave me the confidence to do my test. I passed my driving test today with flying colours and really owe it all to Tim. I would recommend Tim to everyone, he's a top bloke and I will be booking my oldest son in to do his driving with Tim when he becomes old enough in 2.5 years. A++++++

Fantastic experience: Refresher lessons (4 hours over 2 lessons) Not driven in 16 years, needed some help to get back behind the wheel. Tim is a really great instructor - hints and tips for 'real world' situations and helpful without being at all patronising. We found a really good balance between independent driving and giving assistance when needed. I suspect he'd be great for learner drivers with concise instructions, clear explanations (he has a mini whiteboard and various preprepared diagrams for tackling tricky roundabouts) and the patience to help them to gain confidence on the road.

He has always fit me in for lessons and been so flexible especially around test date. I couldn’t recommend him enough. I originally learnt in Stoke and he really reassured me and made me test ready for Shrewsbury almost after a few lessons! He’s really patient and has a calming energy which is perfect for learners. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Tim to anyone. I began having lessons with him after initially failing my test elsewhere. He helped to target where my downfalls were, enabling me to pass my test on my second attempt. He was reliable and punctual to our lessons, and ensured each was beneficial in helping me toward my goal. Alongside this, he focused clearly on why it is important to drive safely and the long term importance of safe driving, rather than just trying to ‘tick the boxes’ to get me through the test. Therefore, I would highly recommend Tim, and am very grateful for his help!

Fantastic experience: Tim is an amazing driving Instructor. After many failed attempts with other instructors who just wanted my money but didn't help me progress Tim was a breath of fresh air. He helped me with my confidence and my nerves. On the day of my test test Tim made sure he was as flexible as possible. My test wasn't until 3.29pm but he come to get me at 1.45. This made sure that I had a hour of driving before my test to make sure I felt confident enough to do everything I needed to. The best part was when Tim went on a 5 min walk with me to calm me down and set me straight (he also did some breathing exercises with me). I have always been a very anxious and nervous person but Tim somehow took that all away. Thank you so much Tim If you want to pass Tim is the man
