Fantastic experience: I recently learned to drive with John and passed, I recommend him highly enough! From our very first lesson, John made me feel comfortable and at ease. His teaching style is incredibly detailed, which really helped me grasp the things i need to learn of driving. Fantastic experience: I began driving with John in late August, he is an amazing down to earth guy. He put me at ease straight away behind the wheel with his kind nature. My weekly lessons flew by very quickly and I passed my test with no minors… must be down to the great teacher he is! :))

Fantastic experience: John came highly recommended. He'd had my husband and other friends as students and the reviews have always been superb. He is very patient, kind, honest and a professional teacher. When he said I was ready to pass my test and that I was doing everything needed, that was the confidence boost I needed because I knew that if I wasn't ready, John will say so. He is not only interested in you passing the driving test but in you being a good driver. I'm glad I was able to do him proud as well, passing on my first attempt . I will always recommend him 100%.

Fantastic experience: I switched to John for a few months after failing my first test. He was a calm and pleasant instructor who only stepped in when he had to, and told me how to avoid the mistake in the future. He fixed any mistakes I made and gave me good advice on how to get better at my maneuvers

Fantastic experience: John is an excellent instructor, he is very calm and very clear and doesn't unnecessary pushes you to do things his way like other instructors do. He was completely focussed on my driving during the lessons unlike my earlier instructor who kept checking his phone . Trust me you have the best chance of passing with John. I am an experienced driver, driven across the continents, but I failed my first attempt in London as I was suggested to use the techniques my earlier instructor gave and got nervous during my previous test. I was fortunate to find him available for my second test date in redhil and he accommodated me even the test date was just 2 weeks away, he took lessons on the weekends and even during a personal situation to make sure I get ready. Just a few lessons and I passed!! Very nice person, calm kind and composed, can't recommended him more! Thanks John!!

John was very clear, understanding and thorough with his teaching, after a mistake was made he went through and clearly stated how I could improve. I couldn’t recommend him enough. I was very nervous at the start but he made me feel calm and relaxed on each lesson. His training techniques helped me pass first time. Communication was very good. Fantastic experience: John made me feel very prepared for the test and help me pass 1st time with no minors. When teaching, he was very clear and easy to understand. He was very patient with me, especially at the start when I was hurting his brand new clutch and made me feel more confident behind the wheel even though I was making these mistakes. Negative experience: Trying to get an answer out of them was like getting blood from a stone only to be told there was no availability at all in our chosen area. Shocking customer service.

He explained me the rules very well, he pointed out what I did right and what all I need to improve upon. The idea of taking self assessment notes is really very good and helpful. I could pass the test in the first attempt, thanks to John!!

Fantastic experience: Great local driving instructor, passed first time with John many years ago in the manual mini in Wallington. Have been driving an automatic for many years after and then asked John for a couple of lessons in the manual to get a feel for using gears again! Great instructor, my sister is now following suit.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience, I had 40 hours worth of lessons but it felt like double that amount. The teaching is of very high standard and you're taught to become a safe and confident driver.
