Negative experience: Booked 2 blocks of 10 lessons for my son,very unhappy with Britt's conduct for a new beginner, My son was left waiting around for lessons getting a text just before the lesson stating she can not make the lesson will have to cancel? this happened 7 times with a different excuse. Really think she needs to take note of the terms and conditions set out with regards to cancellation of lessons by pupils at short notice it seems reading the reviews this is a regular occurrence of her cancelling at short notice.

Fantastic experience: Britt is a fantastic instructor who enabled me to pass my test first time! She has years of experience and it really shows and is thorough in her approach which helped build my confidence, being a more nervous driver. She was as accommodating as she could be to my schedule and some last minute requests and was always kind and patient which puts a learner at ease. Would definitely recommend Britt to anyone.

Negative experience: Spent so much money with this company and since covid restrictions have been lifted cant seem to book in with britt she doesn't reply to messages and test is in 4 weeks, had to go else where at this late stage, so disappointed, avoid at all cost! Always cancelling and not turning up, very unreliable

Fantastic experience: Lee is a fantastic instructor. I came across ALevel driving school after being left unsatisfied with my other instructor and today I passed my test first time with only 1 minor! Lee was always patient no matter how many mistakes I made, always on time for lessons and is a great communicator

Negative experience: I text the female Instuctor about a week ago to see if she was accepting new students she replied yes and asked where I lived and my availability to see when she could get me in I told her and she hasn’t bothered to even message me back. Waste of time

Fantastic experience: After learning to drive for nearly a year with another instructor that used to let me down and yell at me all the time, i decided to take time off from driving as It really put me off. 8 months later I found A level driving school and passed my test! Lee is amazing! He boosted my confidence, never let me down and was very calm. I am so thankful for what he has done for me and recommend him 100%! If you need an instructor definitely go with this company!

Fantastic experience: Had Lee Burrows. A quality driving instructor and has had 8 pass on the trot including myself. Would highly recommend him even though his prices are higher. In the long run they're cheaper as you're driving abilities will dramatically improve compared to those who have cheaper prices.

After being told I was never going to pass from previous instructors when I used Alevel driving school they secured my confidence and motivation that I would. After lots of hard work and time I’ve finally passed , but without Lees calm manor and determination I couldn’t have done it! Thankyou again

Fantastic experience: Passed first time with Britt. Excellent tuition and could quickly identify what needed to be practiced. It's also a great car to learn to drive in! Rare to have any difficulties booking a lesson but could occasionally be asked to change times or dates to make room for other clients lessons.

Fantastic experience: Passed with Britt! Britt from A Level has been my driving instructor for the past few months and I just passed first time! I started learning to drive a few years ago but had to stop after going to university. Britt quickly got me back up to speed and from then on I felt I was making real progress from the first lesson to the last. I came away from each lesson knowing what I needed to work on but not feeling demotivated and the cars themselves are an absolute dream to learn in. I passed my driving test today and I feel like I can now drive safely and confidently. Thanks Britt and A Level Driving School for your quality teaching!

Fantastic experience: After having an unreliable experience with my first driving instructor, I had lessons with Britt who was very helpful and very reliable! Would definitely recommend, friendly and professional driving lessons. Passed on my second attempt!

Negative experience: I did not have the best experience taking driving lessons with Britt. She would frequently cancel lessons at the last minute or reschedule my lesson onto a different slot. I have had to repeatedly chase her for booking lessons via texts or emails with no reply for a week or so! As a result I ended up getting merely 5 lessons in 3 months. Such a waste of time!! I guess she was too busy with other learners but that isn't an excuse to waste somebody else's time. Finally I had enough and decided to discontinue. What was even more frustrating was that I had to wait another 2 months with endless emails and texts to get my refund as I had prepaid for the lessons! Never will I recommend this place to anybody unless you have all the time in the world and is not bothered about getting a license any time soon!

Fantastic experience: I passed with no minors thanks to the help from Britt! She is such a lovely lady with great teaching skills. The only down side to passing my test is that I don't get to spend my weekly 2 hours with Britt. Very grateful and impressed though! Cheers Britt

Negative experience: It was initially very exciting to be driving the mini paceman. Britt was initially good, she's friendly but things started to slip downhill for a while. I paid in advance and often she would cancel last minute, and this would happen consecutively after re-booking , I got fed up of standing outside waiting and then for her not to turn up and have no indication where she was. I suspect A-level driving school was very busy at the time, potentially because of the popularity of the minis, however this does not justify over booking your existing clients. I finished with my pre-payments and knew I couldn't continue to be messed around with. I then joined another driving school with a much more understanding, patient and punctual tutor. No missed sessions whatsoever and I passed my driving test first time.
