Fantastic experience: Before and after, says it all; 2 children out of 2 passed 1st time. A big shout out and thank you. No. 3 sits in July, I trusted all 3 of mine to Simon Russell.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a calm, patient and friendly instructor, I highly recommend Simon. No question was stupid and he’d gladly recap and talk through any driving questions I had helping me not overthink them. I started learning with Simon almost a decade ago and had to stop my lessons but when I contacted him in 2023 he without hesitation wanted to close the chapter on me driving and I’m thankful he did take that chance. Thanks again Simon with everything and helping me get that 2nd time pass!

Fantastic experience: Simon was honestly the biggest help for learning how to drive !! He is so patient and is happy to answer any questions you may have (even if some of them are common sense lol) also his lessons are completely tailored to what you want to learn that day. He is a very bubbly and warm character who really knows his stuff . I passed first try with only 3 driver faults which I couldn’t have done without his support! He deserves no less than five stars , no notes!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Such a great driving instructor, makes sure you feel confident and comfortable! He is great with dealing with anxious drivers. I had a lessons and passed my test first time with Simon as my instructor. He’s very friendly and such a nice person to help me pass my test!

Fantastic experience: Simon Russell is the best instructor I came across and I had a few who told me I should give up and switch to automatic instead. I am a very nervous person and worry about everything plus I have a fear of driving. Simon has helped me so much with my confidence and he never made me feel I should give up even on my worst day. He is supportive, kind,calm, patient and funny. It doesn't take long to feel like you've known him forever. His main message is to ensure that all his students became a safe drivers for life instead of just making sure they pass the test. He told me on my first day that he wouldn't give up on me and Simon is a man of his words as I passed my test today. I am very grateful for all his help and would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a driving instructor.

When I first started with him I felt so nervous but with the encouragement and confident boost he gradually taught me to drive. Fantastic experience: Today passed my practical test!!!!! ... I was so nervous and I've been learning to drive a few months before lockdown. I had to have an 8am test in rush hour and I still passed!!! Simon has helped so much with my confidence over the last few months. He never made me feel I should give up even on my worst day. He kept my spirits up and even this morning at 7am I wanted to jump in the bin and hide, but my hour lesson before my test is what I needed to calm me down. I would recommend Simon to anyone.....the best instructor

Fantastic experience: Simon is very understanding and professional driving instructor. I came from Myanmar where people drive how they want on the road and no Law Enforcement at all!! I have got a lot of bad habits from when I was in my country. Simon encouraged me very well and tried his best for me to be able to understand the rules and law in UK. I was super nervous when I had my driving test. However, he taught me to give myself time to think and to drive safely. I passed my driving test with 3 driver faults and it is all because of his lessons and his professional advices. I couldn't be more proud to say I am one of his many pupils. Fantastic experience: Simon may possibly be the greatest driving instructor on earth. I'm almost certain he could teach a blind feral badger how to pass. The car was spotless at the start of every lesson, suspiciously spotless. I strongly suspect he is actually replacing the car with a brand new one every week, this would explain why he refused to let me name it*. I would describe Simons teaching style as professional, energetic and fun, for me this was the perfect atmosphere to keep me learning and engaged throughout the lessons, despite my attempts to derail several lessons into a weekly therapy session. I cannot possibly comment on the value of the lessons as I feel i may have in fact robbed Simon. Lessons would have been cheap at twice the price and all I can say is I'm very happy I can can drive as it will make hiding from him much easier once he realises. * The cars name is Red, just don't tell Simon that.

Fantastic experience: This review may sound rigged however, I could not be more happy with this instructor. He has been so supportive, never got frustrated with me, even once! We moved at a pace that was comfortable for me and in the end I was able to pass my driving test thanks to him. So as to anyone who is speculating whether or not to use this instructor, I believe you will not be disappointed!

I can get very anxious about new things and Simon really helped me push through that by being super patient and encouraging. So happy that I’ve now passed my driving test! My sons driving lessons were a highlight of his week and Simon was both patient and clear with his instruction. My son was nervous for his test today but passed first time with flying colours!! Fantastic experience: Simon has taught both of my daughters to drive, and what a positive experience it was for them both. Simon has lots of patience, made them feel comfortable and at ease whilst learning to drive, he taught them all the skills and safety they need to be safe confident drivers after passing their test. Both of them would come home full of funny stories and conversations you had shared during your lessons. I hear so many people complain about their children’s driving instructors where with you I never had to worry about it. They still talk fondly of their lessons with you, as do my friends and their children you taught to drive too. I cannot recommend you enough to anyone looking for a driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: What can't you say about Simon! I have to say it took me a while to get back into driving after my previous instructor, but Simon was really understanding and a great teacher. It doesn't take long to feel at ease and feel like you've known him forever. Step by step he will help you on your strengths and weaknesses (even if you cry and have a meltdown..he's there with the tissues!) You will pass with flying colours and also gain a mate by the end. I couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor. He has taught many of my friends and family members..5 star all the way!! Thank you Simon!

Positive experience: Brilliant for anxious drivers or those who've been on a long break! Simon was recommended to me by a friend. Both her and her boyfriend had learnt with him and passed first time and so did I! I came to Simon after a series of unsuccessful lessons with two other driving instructors. He was very patient with me and very accommodating to continuing lessons whenever I came back from uni.
