I wanted to take a moment to respond to this review. Firstly, as Joel has correctly stated I am no longer his instructor anymore, however he has failed to highlight the reasons why? I let Joel go as he had sworn at me 3 times during our hours of tuition when I was offering feedback to improve his driving. He has also nearly caused 3 accidents during the time I have been teaching him. I find it absurd of him to say that I did not create a supportive environment as I am confident that many instructors would have dropped him sooner than I did. In addition to the numerous accidents he nearly created he did not listen to my feedback or instructions which is very frustrating. Joel has stated that I am very knowledgeable of the road however not only did he not listen to my instruction he also did not listen to my recommendation about trying automatic tuition. When I suggested this he said he did not want to try automatic tuition as it was more expensive. Finally, I am shocked and offended that he has stated that I have used his lesson time to talk about personal issues. I have not done this with this pupil or any other as I respect the fact it is there lesson time and money. Overall this review appears to be written out of hate or annoyance as not once did he mention that he was unhappy with my tuition until after I let him go. I wished him all the best with his future tuition.

This pupil has left me a bad review as he seems to think that I was all of the above. We had 20 hours together and he never told me that he was unhappy with the lessons. I decided that it would be best that he found another instructor to complete his lessons as clearly my teaching style that many others that I have taught did not fit into his liking. He says that I didn't create a safe learning environment , which I find hypocritical. I did everything I could to help him get things right but sometimes you have to accept that maybe he would be best suited with someone else as there didn't appear to be a connection between us. Maybe he would have been more suited to learning in automatic to help him so there would be less to focus on. I wished him all the best with his future lessons and hopes that he finds someone suitable to help him through this journey of passing in a manual.
