Fantastic experience: I phoned Kris on Friday night 8th September after my daughter was let down by another company. She was due to start her training on the Monday 11th September with her test on 15th. Kris was really helpful and managed to juggle things around and fit Nicole in for her 18hrs of training. She went on to pass both the practical tests reversing on the first day of training and the road test on Friday 15th at her first attempt. Thanks again Kris for working with Nicole and giving her the confidence she needed to pass. I would highly recommended Kris Blundell.

Fantastic experience: Easy relaying info via whatsapp, cheapest ive found todo my class 1 for the same experience and outcome as opose to other companies charging through the roof, kris made it feel easy and was able to answer any questions thrown at him and glad i took the recommendation from a work colleague as i was slightly sceptical at first "why is he cheaper than other companies" approach. Id definately consider using yards easy to find etc

Fantastic experience: Hi. After failing with another company I decided to look for other instructors. I came across Kris through a google search and after seeing his 5 star reviews and initial communication I knew he was the right choice. His tuition alongside his knowledge gave me a confidence when driving I did not have with the other company. I did 4 hrs training on the first day followed by a further 2 hrs training the next along with my test. Needless to say I passed. Positive experience: Kris was a great instructor and took time to teach Paul with care and consideration at each stage of the process. He built up a good rapport with Paul and helped him understand each aspect of the driving and safety of the truck.

Fantastic experience: Kris was extremely professional and courteous throughout the training I did with him. I contacted Kris as I previously did some training with the ABC team in Newton Le Willows but it was very chaotic and disorganised. Kris provided some useful hints and tips to help me as I was struggling with tight turns - the best approach was to deal with everything slowly as it gave me much more control of the vehicle. Kris remained patient during times when I was lacking a bit of confidence and struggling with certain aspects of my driving. I really appreciated this as previously I was dealing with Jon Cartwright at the ABC team who stated after my first day of training in an Articulated lorry that “his dog would pass before I do”, which to somebody who suffers with anxiety didn’t help with my confidence whatsoever! I would highly recommend Kris to anybody looking to get their HGV licence whether it be Class 1 or 2 as he has the patience and knowledge to help you through the process. One small bit of feedback would be that Kris could work on responding a bit sooner to messages as I contacted him a couple of times last week without any response - I understand he is getting busier though and he explained to me that he did have some issues with the lorry (now sorted!) Once we went ahead with training I found Kris very accommodating with fitting my sessions into my busy life style and was always quick to respond to any issues that I had. The training itself was very thorough and delivered in a calm and proffesional manner which helped to reassure me on the days were I was nervous. Fantastic experience: I chose to go with Kris Blundell for my b+e training and test due to being able to squeeze me in pretty quickly when compared to other companies, he made every effort to source a test and squeeze me into his busy schedule, working late on days an early mornings to give me the training necessary. His approach to tuition just works, everything he showed me and tips and pointers i put into practice worked. This can only be attributed to his numerous years of experience in the field. I will certainly recommend Kris, in fact i have already recommended him to a couple of my friends who also require the b+e training. Fantastic experience: I'd like to share my experience with Kris Blundell. Found a few companies online and contacted them all. Kris was the first to respond to me the same day. Very easy to deal with. Prompt responses to messages and emails. Answered all my queries I had with the coarse and made the whole booking process very straightforward. Upon meeting at the test center he was very welcoming and put me at ease straight away. His approach to teaching was just right for me. Direct instruction and again answered anything I was unsure about. 100% I would recommend Kris to anyone thinking of doing the B+E test. (especially because I passed 1st time) Too bloke and appreciated his experience.

Fantastic experience: Kris is an excellent instructor. He had a calm relaxed manner throughout my training. He explained the maneuvers, decoupling and coupling exercises really clearly. He patiently observed me practise, offering timely and insightful guidance to improve my technique and execute the maneuvers to a consistently high standard. His observations and feedback on the driving sections helped me to iron out a few issues; he also ensured I was aware of the key reasons that people fail and how to ensure that I avoided them. His communication was always excellent and his car and trailer were ideally suited to passing the b+e test. I am really grateful for his help and guidance and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to pass this test.

Negative experience: Probably the most unhelpful ignorant person i have met to date. booked a 2 day course with Kris, training was none existant, very unprofessional, whoever books with kris will be very dissapointed. I found watching videos on youtube more helpful that Kris's tuition. I failed the test, but since then i have sent 12 messages and i am yet to receive any communication back. So bare in mind if you do fail your test like me, Kris will do nothing to help you. He is only interested in the money.

Negative experience: The worst off the worst , please don’t waste your time and money ! Not even worth make an enquiry. You cannot get worst than this , from personality and attitude to the skills he should possess for his job . You will be extremely disappointed. I have never , in my 40 years of existence met anyone so unprofessional.

Negative experience: Kris told me he had a test booked for me and could book in the lessons just before the test for 2 days. I booked time off work, cancelled my commitments then he completely ignored me. As someone who runs their own business too, I can’t believe how unprofessional he was and it’s certainly not a way to run a business in the long term. Even if something had come up, he could have least of had the decency to tell me and I would have understood but to just ghost someone is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Luckily I found a brilliant driving school which was much cheaper and actually bothered to talk to me and organise my driving lessons and test. Book with extreme caution

Negative experience: I booked the B&E trailer course and payed the full amount in advance. Kris cancelled the day before via text due to vehicle issues. Due to my schedule and the communication i requested a full refund. Kris advised me this could take up to 30 days. It’s now been almost two months and I have still not received payment. Very disappointing level of communication and service. ****Edit**** Money refunded after around 3 months of threatening legal action.

Fantastic experience: I was sent to kris through work as they thought he was the best around the area and the most reasonable in price and they were right! In my opinion he is very professional, he let me know when my test was and made sure we had enough time to practise before my test which made a big difference and he made a stressful situation very relaxed. He would talk me through everything and was very thorough in helping me. he made sure I was happy with it before we moved on to something else. Fantastic experience: I found Kris after advise from friend. Looked him up on Google and found only good reviews. Kris was friendly and easy to talk to and was able to answer all my questions and queries. Made it very easy to understand all the maneuvers needed on the test and his knowledge of the area really helped on the lessons. I would 100% recommend Kris to family and friends as this was a flawless experience. I hope your able to get some more YouTube video up to help others the way you helped me. Thanks again. Negative experience: Paid for day and half training and the first day was not good value for money. Hours of driving with little input from the instructor on performance. Spent the morning ‘brew’ break in a greasy spoon cafe. Ok I didn’t pay for this but not very professional. Poor quality and poorly maintained equipment which isn’t very realistic to learn to tow anything other than a small trailer. To much time was spent getting fuel, air and resetting dash board fault lights before test. Unfortunately did not pass on silly consistent errors that should have been ironed out during training. Little help was given for organising a retest and test I found myself was cancelled last minute. I have since passed with a much more professional outfit for less money. Shop around and find a school that will teach you something and not just take you on a joy ride.

Positive experience: Passed first time and thought Kris was methodical in the reverse and coupling up aspects. I had no issue with the breaks as driving for long periods is tiring. I did 2 days but in hindsight could have done 1 and 1/2 but that's no big deal. I was doing this in order to towe my large caravan and would just point out the trailer used is a lot smaller than a caravan. Glad to pass as was a nervey experience taking my test 20 years after first passing! Thanks Kris.

Fantastic experience: I recently took my test with Kris and have nothing but praise for Kris and his teaching style. Kris meticulously runs through everything you need to know regarding the trailer checks, un-coupling / re-coupling and the reverse manoeuvre. Kris also assesses your driving style on the road, removing many years of bad habits! Kris’s setup is ideal for the test using a car rather than pickup which is probably more familiar to most which has a reversing camera which makes the recouple much easier. I have read about people having an issue with the breaks taken, I didn’t have an issue, in-fact they were welcome as the course is intensive and allows everything to sink in. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kris to anyone, thanks again!!

Fantastic experience: 1 day course, excellent service, Kris is very knowledgable and his car and brand new trailer is perfect for the job. Two breaks in between which is perfect for the amount of information and driving that has to be done in such a short amount of time.

The training and instructions were clear and concise and Kris allowed me to learn at my own pace, which resulted in a first time pass. Negative experience: I used Kris to do my B+E trailer course. I paid £595 upfront and unfortunately was unhappy with the service received. On the first day Kris turned up late to our meeting point. When we were practicing the reverse manoeuvre, the power steering went on Kris' car so we went and sat in McDonalds for 45 minutes. Over the 2 days, we spent over 2 hours in McDonalds. On the day of my test the jockey wheel on the trailer was stiff which meant I was unable to uncouple and recouple the trailer in order to pass my test. Even the examiner commented to Kris that I had tried everything to get it to unwind. I only got 1 other minor on the test, but Kris then sent me an email the following day saying that I would need to pay £235 for a retest course. When I emailed him back to ask for some discount as it was his trailer that was faulty, I got an unhelpful reply. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I would just like to say reading the comments gives a mixed bag of views .... HOWEVER Yesterday I trained for two hours, today I trained for roughy 6 hrs - 30 min breaks and guess what ..... 1st time pass result! I was more than happy with the teaching I received and the quality of service, Kris said a time and he was there no hassle. I would recommend him to anybody I did have some towing experience just remember to book the correct course and not a course to save money and explain your towing experience properly to Kris. Regarding the breaks it helped me as I sat and thought about driving style, reversing , uncoupling and coupling ect which I believe helped me for test time , also good to have a min to relax a little. Negative experience: Anyone reading this will think I'm leaving a negative review due to the fail. This is not the case. I want to make people aware of my experience! I got in touch with Kris to complete my B+E. Kris was 45mins late, didn't teach me the correct way to check the trailer, misinformed me about checking the trailer load, said this wasn't relevant. He had 2 stops at McDonalds which were 1hr if my paid time. So 1hr 45mins of my paid training is already lost. I had to consistently text Kris for the re test and he kept telling me there was nothing available. He'd then text late on a friday night (8pm) and say there is a slot for Wednesday which if i was to take i wouldn't get my money back if i couldn't get it off work. I went with someone else in the end. Fitted me in within 4days. Which then turns out Kris was using my details to save slots at Test Centres. Slots that wasn't available (apparently)! Poor standard of teaching, poor punctuality and very poor customer service. Avoid!

Fantastic experience: Contacted Kris regarding the B + E test i required for our new larger caravan. I found the service and Kris to be informative, hassle free and friendly. I would definatley recommend using Kris for this service. Thanks Kris its been a pleasure and glad I passed first time.

Fantastic experience: So realising I did not have the correct license for towing my caravan I contacted kris to take my b plus e test Kris got me through my training and test within 24 hours of meeting up He has a very professional attitude and makes you feel at ease He also beats all the other bigger companies costs ,at a very reasonable price Cheers kris

Negative experience: I took a trailer course with Kris and passed, his teaching is not what I have an issue with. I paid Kris £325 upfront for the course which I didn't have a problem with. Kris phoned me the day before my course to tell me his car was off the road so I suggested we used my car which was suitable to do the course with and Kris said he would refund me £100 because I was using my own vehicle which I thought was reasonable. Unfortunately it's nearly two weeks after my course and I still have not received my refund. I have messaged Kris and had no response from him also attempted to call him on several occasions and just get no answer or diverted to his answer phone. If you are going to go with Kris for any driving courses I would suggest you pay him after you have received the service he has said he can provide.
