He made me feel comfortable and at ease whilst learning, if I made a mistake he would never bring stress to the situation, always being patient with me. Fantastic experience: I passed my test in Plymouth with instructor Pete. I had a great time learning to drive with Pete! Pete made me feel confident and comfortable behind the wheel from day one. He really understood how I learned and his patience, clear instructions, and calm demeanor were exactly what I needed. He was always so encouraging and believed in me 100%, which I believe helped me pass on my first try. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: I had Ryan Lindley as my driving instructor. He was patient and relaxed even when I wasn’t the best driver. He knows what he’s doing and is very aware of the road, gave me great advice and clearly cares a lot about his students. He was not afraid to take me on motorways and to even teach other practical skills that aren’t essential for the test. All around nice guy to talk to as well. Thanks Ryan

From the beginning to the end he has always remained patient, composed and has always been able to clearly explain complex topics in ways that make it easier to remember and retain the information. He will always compliment and praise the smallest and biggest achievements so, I really can not recommend him enough!

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of being taught by Gavin, who was incredibly patient and generally incredible nice. Gavin was able to teach me and gradually transfer driving responsibilities to me as I grew more confident in my abilities and more confident in my decision making. When lessons were finished, Gavin would go through the strengths and weaknesses of the drive, which would allow me to see weak areas that needed to be focused on in the coming lessons. Overall, Gavin was a great instructor and I could not recommend him enough - and with his guidance and patience I passed first time!

He had endless patience over the time we spent together and got me to a point where I wasn't panicking before my test. Fantastic experience: My instructor Gavin Hobbs has been the best driving instructor, without his training and help I wouldn’t have been able to pass my test with only two minor faults. He’s a very patient instructor and is great at coming up with new ways to explain different topics which was beyond helpful. I would highly recommend lendrums to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I learnt with Ryan in Plymouth and he was truly the best driving instructor I have ever had a lesson with. I began as quite a nervous driver and really struggled with my confidence driving around a new city but that changed so quickly. Ryan was not only an absolutely brilliant teacher but I found myself laughing through every lesson. I really miss my lessons and passed me test with zero minors. Not only did Ryan teach me to pass the test but he truly taught me to drive! Thank you Ryan!

After not being able to get a driving test for ages and then getting one last minute, they both were able to give last minute driving lessons, which were amazing! Couldn’t not recommend them more! Fantastic experience: I started lessons, with no driving knowledge at all however Ryan started teaching me the basics of driving straight away. With each lesson Ryan helped me gain my confidence while driving and was always able to answer my many questions relating to the rules of the road, driving in general etc. I would definitely recommend having lessons with him

Fantastic experience: I started my lessons knowing absolutely nothing not even what the pedals were and my instructor Ryan was very good and made me feel relaxed in the car as he was very patient and funny. I have passed my test today first time and I’d say the lessons I had were very effective.

Fantastic experience: What can I say...John Lendrum is an incredible trainer! John help me through every step of my training to become an ADI. I know I was not always the easiest trainee and I caused him a lot of headaches over the last year but I genuinely wouldn't be where I am now without him. I would recommend John to anybody who is thinking of becoming an ADI.

Fantastic experience: Lendrum's Driving school, I had a instructor called Andy who was super helpful and really was a big help to me.I remember on my first lesson how nervous I was and Andy made sure it was a fun and exiting introduction to learning to drive. Unfortunately I had to part ways with Lendrum's at the start of this year due to college timetables changing, however I kept driving in my own car with family and I passed my driving test today. Massive thank you to Lendrum's and Andy for the lessons, Would fully recommend to people who are looking to learn.

Fantastic experience: I have had the pleasure of being trained by John Lendrum, himself to become a qualified driving instructor. His training and dedication to my learning is amazing. I have felt completely at ease throughout the process. John is dedicated to each and everyone of his PDIs and ADIs providing ongoing guidance and support. If I ever have any questions and concerns he will always get back to me, even if he is on holiday. John has imparted a lot of knowledge already and I feel like we have only touched the surface of it as well. Thanks for everything and for the continued ongoing support.

After 21 years in one industry it was a difficult decision to change career but John has supported me all the way and made the process clear and easy. The training was fun, informative and relaxed. It's a decision I do not regret in the slightest and couldn't have done it without John. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Thanks be to God, I got the best driving instructor I could ever ask for via Lendrums Driving School. Fenella is awesome; very encouraging, patient and professional. She taught me things required - despite driving in my home country for about 17years, I was still learnt a lot of new tips from her, which I applied during my test and after. We always had a great laugh during driving lessons & I honestly know I made a new friend :-) On occasions, I forgot to use my glasses and drove before realising.. So on a test day, Fenella pasted a big picture of a pair of glasses on the dashboard of the car, to remind me of the glasses! PRICELESS! I almost fell off my seat.. LOL! (Still laughing... Haha!). I’d try to attach the picture for you to see. Lendrums Driving School is definitely the number 1 choice. Thank you x

Fantastic experience: Managed to pass with ~15 lessons from my amazing instructor Fenella! Fenella was extremely professional and supportive, always helping me step outside of my comfort zone and improve the areas I was weakest. Her expert knowledge of Southampton's roads meant I was particularly confident handling tricky junctions and corners. This was especially useful as I'm a uni student and not local. Also made use of John's extensive knowledge and experience in my mock test which was extremely useful in giving me the confidence to pass the test. Thank you!! Would definitely recommend this school.

Fantastic experience: When I was looking for someone to learn to drive with Lendrums really stuck out due to its amazing reviews, and let me tell you, they really are that good! I passed first time with Christine, not only was she an amazing instructor who really listened and understood but she was such a lovely down to earth person who really made you feel at ease.
