Fantastic experience: From the very first lesson up until the driving test, Carlton made sure I have all the skills to not only pass the test, but also be a fully independent and safe driver. I really could not recommend Carlton as a driving instructor enough.

Fantastic experience: I have been trying to pass my driving test for years (on and off) Carlton is the kind of person to keep trying different methods until he's found something that works for you. He's honest about your progression and what needs to be improved but not in a condescending way. You can also have a laugh with him! Thankyou for perceiving with me, if you want someone who cares and will help you to pass this is the one to go for.

Fantastic experience: After 6 years of learning on and off with other instructors, I hated driving and had absolutely no confidence in my driving or ability to pass. I only had 4 lessons with Carlton before my test after having not had lessons for 2 years, but in that time he taught me how to actually drive, rather than focussing on getting through a test - and in that time everything just “clicked” for me! He was reassuring and gave me advice on how to deal with my test and driving anxiety, and since I passed last week I am not only able to drive safely and confidently, but I actually enjoy it! Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Carlton enough - he is an outstanding Driving Instructor!! Both of my teenagers learnt to drive with Carlton and he is excellent at his job. His clear, calm and professional approach made all the difference with them. He connected well with both of them - was on their wavelength, made them feel comfortable and instilled a great confidence in them. Both of my teenagers thoroughly enjoyed their lessons with Carlton and both passed first time under his tuition. As a parent, I appreciated how clear Carlton was regards my teenagers progress. He was great at advising how long it would be before he thought they were "test ready". For us this meant, we didn't need as many lessons as we had originally booked as they were "test ready" - it's clear that Carlton is a conscientious and honest instructor who takes great pride in his work. A massive thank you from me and the "new drivers" in the family, Carlton!

Fantastic experience: after a few lessons with another instructor years prior I was fortunate to get started learning again with Carlton, he quickly worked out strong points and areas to improve and focus on with my driving, each lesson felt very well structured and I came away everytime with growing confidence behind the wheel - I am very grateful for how accommodating he was with both finding test bookings and also informing of cancellations to bring your tests forwards where feasible. Fantastic experience: Carlton is a great driving instructor, he is very patient and gives his undivided attention for learners to be a safe driver for life. Carlton has aided my learning by giving many tips and suggestions on particular roads as well as helping me with forward planning for road situations in the distance. Carlton has taught me fool proof methods for all the manoeuvres that are tested in the driving test especially the more difficult ones such as parallel parking. Furthermore, Carlton is always up to date with any changes or alterations to current test standards so you know you can trust him with giving teaching suitable for current test guidelines. Carlton has been a great driving teacher and I highly recommend him whether you are a first time learner, or a learner who needs to polish up from previous driving experience. Carlton adheres to particular individual needs and creates a safe environment for students to make mistakes and focus on the areas needing to improve.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my driving test today with only 2 minor faults and it’s all thanks to Carlton. He makes sure you’re completely comfortable with how you’re feeling while driving and works with you on anything that you don’t feel great about. Fantastic experience: Carlton is an amazing instructor. He is extremely good at both explaining concepts and transferring practical knowledge. He has a nigh standard, but also has a very patient and encouraging teaching style. He is alsp very familiar with examiners' expectations and typical watch-outs in the tests. I learned to drive from scratch in a few months and got my license recently. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to pass their driving test with flying scores!

Fantastic experience: After reading all the five star reviews about Carlton and how patient he was, I decided he sounded like the instructor for me. Carlton is a fantastic teacher who is more than happy to go over and over things until you are happy and to also find the best way to demonstrate things to you that suit the way you learn best. He has an array of books, learning tools and gives great hand outs for you to familiarise and refresh your memory between lessons. He has a great sense of humour, is very positive ,reassuring and puts you at great ease. I can’t thank him or recommend him highly enough.
