Fantastic experience: 100% would ( and have) recommend Helen and Billsons Driving school, for beginners or anyone who started driving, Life got in the way, and you wanted to start up again. Not only is Helen an amazing instructor, but now also friend , Nothing was an inconvenience for Helen whether it be questions, queries or even lesson changes I had , Her flexibility and calm manner makes it work for you Which has given me the skills to become a safe, happy and confident driver I've absolutely loved every lesson .

Fantastic experience: Had experience driving, and reached out to Richard 2 weeks prior to my test! He gave me suitable slots around work hours and good advice and only 7 hours of lessons to make sure I was test ready! Amazing job, great instructor and passed first time with only 2 driving faults! Fantastic experience: I have been driving with Helen for almost 2 years and it has flew by! She is genuinely the kindest, funniest person ever and was always patient with me throughout all our lessons- Always having your best interest at heart… we pushed my test back from october to january as we both agreed i wasn’t quite ready, and with all of that extra practice, i managed to pass first time with her today!! I can’t thank Helen enough for everything she’s done for me and giving me so much support. I will really miss her!! ❤️

Fantastic experience: Richard was a brilliant instructor, he was very patient, before I started driving I really wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to… 6 months later and I’ve passed my test first time Richard paces lessons well to push you when you need it and to balance the information overload, he is also very professional and friendly and he adapted to my feedback on my learning style. Any criticism just helped me to learn and it always felt constructive. Once my confidence grew I was looking forward to my lessons and now I feel like a well rounded capable driver! I really recommend doing weekly 1.5 hour lessons. Thank you again Richard.

Fantastic experience: Richard is a wonderful instructor, he takes the time to teach you at your own pace and is always kind and understanding. He explains things in a way that is easy to understand and makes it clear that its okay to make mistakes, it's how we learn.

I was so scared when I started learning in March but Helen was so patient and was so thorough with all the lessons. She will make sure that you feel comfortable and make sure that you understand everything and if you make a mistake that’s ok she’ll explain why and not get annoyed. Fantastic experience: If you want a great instructor that will fill you with confidence while driving I would definitely pick Helen, she is a nice lady and is always there for you if you need anything driving or not! I was always scared of driving from a personal experience when I was a child and always felt unsafe in a car but when I started driving with Helen I always felt safe. Any mistakes she would tell me but not be annoyed at me which made me more determined. Honestly recommend Helen to anyone that wants to learn. No words can describe how I felt when I passed so I’ll leave it there.

Fantastic experience: From my first lesson with Richard almost a year ago right up until passing my test he has helped me to build up my confidence more and more with my driving. Richard taught me how to drive safely, to carry out my manoeuvres perfectly as well as my lane positioning, roundabouts, show/tell questions, road signs, dealing with out-of-the-ordinary situations when on the road and and all about what to expect for when my test came around as well as the other necessities too. He ensures that each lesson, the atmosphere in the car is calm and positive; puts any nerves to rest and makes sure that you are comfortable and ready - I have had a few instructors over the years but if I had to pick one I would definitely 100% recommend Richard. Thanks for all the help!

Fantastic experience: Amazing instructor, went above and beyond after my test was cancelled in order to get me an earlier test date. Explains things clearly and never got frustrated no matter how often I needed to redo maneuvers, or made mistakes. Obviously cares for his students and even offered to provide support even after I passed in case I felt nervous driving on my own. Would definitely reccomend!

Fantastic experience: If i could give more than 5* to Richard i would he is a great driving instructor. I only had 10 or so driving lessons with Richard and I passed first time. Through out the lessons from day one Richard helped me with the weak point and things that i was struggling with, Richard didn't waste anytime saying or doing things that wouldn't help me with the driving, throughout the lessons he was straight to the point and didn't waste any time. Overall Richard was a great driving instructor and if you need a driving instructor that would teach you how to drive to the best of you capability and without wasting your time, Richard is the best option. Thanks Richard really appreciate it, you were a great driving instructor.
