Julia is an amazing driving instructor and a very warm, friendly person who put my daughter at ease from her very first lesson. So happy we chose her, and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I started learning in the summer with Julia, I was very anxious and nervous but after the initial first lesson I was completely at ease. She is such a lovely lady and listened to my worries and adapted her teaching techniques to calm me and so every week we had our lessons a my confidence shot up, not only in driving but personally as well. It felt like she was a family friend I'd known forever. I managed to book a test for December but she felt I was ready in October! However there were no cancellations so I stuck with the test in December. On the test day she accompanied me to the centre we had a lesson beforehand and she told me I could do it and to believe in myself. It meant so much to me to have someone believe in me like she did. I passed my test first time and I am over the moon. Honestly if you want to start lessons and are worried ect then Julia is the person to go to. I cannot recommend her enough. I will miss seeing her every week. And so I'd just like to thank her with all my heart, means more than you know and has opened up so many opportunities. My babies are incredibly proud of me!

Fantastic experience: Would recommend Julia to anyone thinking about learning to drive, I was recommended by my boyfriend who Peter taught as well as my boyfriends sister and mum! Julia was always patient and clear when instructing and explaining whilst still able to have a good chat and a laugh, always fabulous sense of humour! I had 2 previous instructors where it was difficult to maintain regular lessons with my late notice shift patterns, however Julia would always make sure we could get a lesson in. I will miss our weekly chats and laughs. I cannot thank you enough for helping me get to where I need to be.

Fantastic experience: Learning to drive in my 40’s after a negative learning experience in my teens was nerve wracking. My anxiety was terrible! But Julia was so patient and held my hand throughout, always knowing just how much to push but equally knowing if I needed to pull back. She was encouraging, friendly, supportive, and motivating and I felt comfortable with her from the first lesson. When I doubted myself, her calm nature reassured me. Julia was accommodating around my busy work and family commitments and happy to switch days/times if I needed to which removed what could have been a barrier. I cannot believe I passed first time! Owing to University commitments and COVID delays my son was hesitant about his test but this was soon overcome after a few lessons with Peter. Feedback from my son was that Peter was calm, reassuring and communicated his points with a sense of humour, putting my son at ease and allowing him to fully focus on his driving. Not having as much time due to being at university to prepare for my test, he was able to fit in extra times to help me practise when I got back. Fantastic experience: Quick message to say that TEST School Of Motoring is absolutely an incredible driving school and for those looking for a honest, calm, helpful, and encouraging driving instructor - This is where I'd go if I was to start all over again. Peter is a master at communicating what learner's need to know and getting it across to us in such a way that's so simple and encouraging. Ask any student that has had Peter, his analogies are next level, they're not only funny; they get his point across so it's easy to understand. I made tonnes of mistakes every lesson, but the way he'd explain what I did wrong was not demotivating. Not at all. He delivered it in a friendly amusing way, which made me take the mistake that I made on board and fix it in my driving for next time. This, I believe is one of the reasons that separates Peter as an instructor from all the others out there. I've recommended Peter on to my friends, who are currently taking lessons and learning to drive with him. I passed my practical driving test today 16/11/2021 first time and with 3 minors. Massive thank you to Peter for all the lessons and encouragement! And good luck to everyone out there learning to drive!
