Fantastic experience: My son Jake Black passed back in January. My younger son is ready to start. I thought it made sense to leave a bit of time before I reviewed. Paul mad Jake feel super confident and taught him exactly how Jake needed to receive and understand the responsibilities and requirements to be a safe driver. 8 months on and having been in the car several times with him and see him navigate a variety of different journeys, Paul’s tutoring has really held up. After being let down by my previous instructor 4 weeks before my test and being told that I have no chance of passing, Paul kindly took me on and worked on my driving and took me to my test… thank you so much Paul, wouldn’t have passed without you. Fantastic experience: I would 100% recommend…It’s a scary time to watch your kids grow up and learn to drive, both from a ‘making you feel old’ but more importantly a safety point of view. But I have to say that Paul made this an enjoyable experience for both me and my daughter. I’m very proud of the confident driving sparkle she has become and that is thanks to Paul. He’s a fantastic, knowledgeable and approachable instructor that was very communicative throughout whether it be a message, chat on the doorstep or update via the app. She was always excited for her lessons and was clear on the areas she needed to improve so she could be the best she can be and stay safe. The lessons were planned out and progress was tracked on the app so I always knew what went well and what I needed to work on for the next lesson. Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test first time with Paul as my instructor. Brilliant experience from start to finish. The free theory training program was great and also enabled me to pass my theory first time and get my driving started afterwards. The app they use to keep me informed of my lessons around my availability and also Paul updated it after each lesson to show me how I was progressing each lesson and set goals for what we wanted to achieve next. Paul worked really well around my availability and collected me often from my sons nursery to start my lessons. I've recommended PJC and will always when someone I know would like to learn to drive :) Thank you again. Look forward to having my sons learn with the company when they're older

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to Paul at Southbeds Pjc driver training through my friend. Paul explained that the first stage was to pass my theory test, he booked my theory test for me and provided me with free online theory training which was extremely helpful. Once I passed my theory, Paul helped me to book my practical driving test and we booked weekly 2 hour lessons leading up to this point, with extra lessons in the week leading up to my test. Paul was always on time and his car was always well looked after. He never charged me a “premium” price compared to other driving schools that I have heard of. Paul’s teaching was always great and his communication was really good which allowed me to understand where I was going wrong on some lessons and the things I was doing correctly. Would 100% recommend to friends and family learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: Passed my test first time this morning with Paul as my instructor. He did an absolutely phenomenal job, I'll be the first to admit that driving is not something that came naturally to me at all and I was worried that I'd have a much harder time of it than my older siblings but Paul took me on and got me ready without needing more time than the average person. He never turned up late (unless circumstances were out of hie control and in that situation he always let me know) and was brilliant at making the times I was available for. I absolutely can't say anything negative about my PJC driving experience at all. Thanks Paul!!!

Fantastic experience: I've just completed my B&E trailer training with Paul at PJC. I found the training to be incredibly useful. If you're planning on towing a caravan, car, boat, livestock, plant or business equipment, I cant recomend this training highly enough. Paul covered all the apects a towing novice would need, not only the basics such as vehicle positioning, speed limits, manuvering, coupling/uncoupling & trailer maintenance etc but also extras like safe & secure loads, and economic driving tips to save fuel and excess wear & tear on the vehice & trailer. Even though the B&E trailer test is no longer a legal requirement, chances are this training costs a tiny fraction of the item you're planning on towing. Would you really want to risk your own safety & the safety of others on the road by not having adeqate training?

Fantastic experience: I had Paul as my instructor and passed my test first time with only one minor, Paul always on time even though the only hours I could do were very inconvenient for him and I was a long distance away from where Paul is based and he was never late and never cancelled a lesson. Being with Paul he was very calm and patient with me and always giving good advice to get me through my test, Could not recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: I have passed my test on 17th April 2019 after many stop and start lessons with another company and with going with Pam at PJC she had shown to be a very good teacher as she built up my confidence and never doubted my ability. Pam is very friendly and was patient and makes a very good teacher. I will be using Pam again when my son is ready to take his lessons.

Fantastic experience: After enquiring about a trailer test for work purposes I found Paul very knowledgeable. He was easily able to guide me through the up to date regulations and requirements for my needs. The instruction was first class and Paul's teaching methods second to none, he guided me through step by step the requirements for my test and even managed to iron out 13 years of bad driving habits in just 3 sessions. I passed the test first time with just one minor. Paul not only taught me to pass my test but gave me useful tips for the future when towing a trailer that were not relevant to the test. For this I would thoroughly recommend PJC Driver Training.

Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK PAUL AT PJC! Last week I ended my driving package with PJC. I initially took this out with Paul and alarm bells did ring from my initial contact with Paul to make arrangement for driving lesson. Rather than discuss my history in driving a vehicle and how long it's been since I last sat behind a car, Paul was more interested in telling me that many of these reviews are ale and being investigated by google and pretty much slagging off other driving schools/instructors. I really should've listened to my instinct!! After my 3/4 lesson, I cancelled my package with Paul. I found him extremely condensending and loves the sound of he's own voice! A real time waster! I had my lesson at 6am before work which I am very grateful but when cancelling; rather than asking and finding out why I was so annoyed with him and what can be done to correct this. Paul was adamant that I will not get another instructor willing to have lessons at that time. I am now with AA and would strongly advise to stay away from PJC!!! And AA is cheaper!!!! DO NOT BOOK with PJC

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Pam as an instructor as she is very good at her job, she is very motivating and dedicated to her students. She not only teaches you how to drive but also teaches you to understand the car as well. She was able to give me enough lessons in a short amount of time that enabled me to pass. Pam is very friendly and calm and always taught me through my mistakes. I have very much enjoyed my experience with Pam as my instructor.

Negative experience: I have heard many good things about this driving school and thought would give it a try, however for months now I have tried contacting this company with no luck. Even if the company is booked up I'd still expect some response so as not to wait for a response. Unfortunately this has led me to be very disappointed with the lack of customer service.

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Pam, she was an excellent instructor who made me feel comfortable while I was driving every time. She is extremely motivating and has a very high standard of teaching, making sure I understood everything. She also has a lot of patience and kindly repeats anything you don't understand. I would very highly recommend Pam as a driving instructor!

Positive experience: I learn to drive with pam with the basic first and she was excellent! very motivating passed my theory and driving. Definitely will recommend pam. and i promise you, you wont find anyone better then her!

Fantastic experience: Before my first lesson with Dave from PJC, I knew very little about driving and didn't have much confidence going into it. However Dave gave me great confidence in my driving ability from the moment I started, from then on he helped me hugely to progress further with my driving and was an amazing instructor, not only teaching me everything I needed to pass my test but how to be ready to face any challenges on the road. It's because of Dave that I passed first time and I highly recommend him for anyone wanting to learn to drive at the highest level.

Fantastic experience: I was originally with a different firm and after 5 failed test decided to try this company and I'm so glad I did. My instructor, Dave, built up my confidence and taught me things that my first teacher had failed to. But my favourite thing about this firm is that they teach you to DRIVE, and not just how to pass your test like so many others do. I am so glad my instructor was recommended to me and I am now driving after passing my next test with this company. PJC in one word - amazing!

Fantastic experience: I was amazed at a video I came across where Paul was demonstrating how to do parallel parking. I then decided that I needed him & only him to teach me. I won’t lie the guy knows his stuff, I would ask questions upon questions and although he got frustrated with the questions I was asking. He had patience to make sure I understood what I could or couldn’t do. Paul loves perfection, so he will push you until you get it bang on right. I could not have wished for a better instructor, friendly, professional, caring and understanding. Fantastic experience: I took driving lessons with Dave Cunnigham from PJC and since the first lesson I recieved a very high level of teaching which put me at ease. He is a very friendly man that identifies your strengths and weaknesses so you will have the best opportunity to pass. He is very experienced and this shows with his lessons as he is gradually lesson by lesson upping the intensity of the lessons so that you are constantly progressing. He was very open to questions and didnt mind you going over your lesson time so that he could share his knowledge with you. Would recommend PJC to anyone! BEST DRIVING SCHOOL AROUND!

Fantastic experience: I undertook driving lessons with David Cunningham at PJC Driver Training and found that having also been taught by another instructor previously elsewhere, I received an outstanding level of teaching and coaching which helped me to overcome my barriers towards both learning to drive and eventually pass my test. My instructor clearly enjoys his occupation and is able to build an effective rapport with his learners, which I feel is extremely important. I would highly recommend PJC Driver Training to others and believe that they have the knowledge and experience which cannot be beaten at other driving lesson providers.

Finially changed instrutor, at first I was worrying about which instrutor to choose and im very happy that i chose PJC. Paul is an amazing instrutor. Fantastic experience: Best Driving School In Bedfordshire area. From lesson one I've been told so much by Paul about how to use a car. I was so nervous, but Paul was very supportive and at the end of the first lesson I was feeling confident. PJC Driver Training have the best driving Instructors, all of them are so helpful and friendly. With driving lessons I also received free Theory Training and that helped me to pass my theory test first time. Definitely, I do recommend this school to everyone. Fantastic experience: 2 weeks ago today I passed my test :-). I'm only just recovering from the shock, disbelief and thrill of actually passing and its all down to PJC Driving.... :-). I got my first car 5 days ago and am really enjoying the experience and the independence passing my test has given me, although I find it a bit strange not having Alan next to me to talk to, guide and encourage me though my driving experience!! As a 'mature' lady of 44 years old I came to PJC after my eldest daughter passed her test first time with Alan almost 2 years ago. My middle daughter then started lessons with Alan 5 months before me in March 2012. She passed her test 3 weeks before I passed mine. I'm sure Alan will agree that I was probably one of the most nervous and emotional pupils he has ever had and probably the most talkative too ;-). In fact Alan had a harder job with me because he had to teach me how to drive and talk at the same time as he knew that 'talking' would be important to me after passing, although I have to talk to myself most of the time now ;-). Having taken my first test 25 years before and failed it was really hard for me to get the confidence to start to learn again but Alan helped build my confidence when I was always putting myself down and he taught me how to drive to a high standard that I know that I will carry on and implement in my driving as a driver that has passed!! It took me 8 months of learning before I took my test and it was always going to be my 'first of many' and Alan helped me by giving me mock tests and a mock test with Paul too so that I could get used to having someone testing me that I didn't know, that proved a valuable experience for me and enough to pass my test 'first time' as a 'mature' driver. Nothing was too much trouble for Alan and he was always calm, patient and understanding. All I can say now before I go on and on is that if you want to learn to drive properly, safely and confidently then choose PJC driving. They are well respected by both pupils and examiners alike and have the expertise and experience to make it a great driving experience, whether young or old, nervous or confident they are the BEST.... Fantastic experience: Before I started taking lessons with Paul from PJC Driver training, I was fed up with the bad experiences I had from two other Luton based driving schools. All those instructors ever did was take my money and tell me I needed more lessons, so I was reluctant at choosing another company to transfer to based on no suggestions from family or friends. I found PJC Driver Training while googling 'best instructors in Luton' and this was one of the top results. My mind was made up after reading the reviews on here so I called up, booked a lesson and from then on wished I'd come here from the beginning! Paul is an exceptional instructor who pin-pointed all my "bad habits" and then worked on helping me get out of them. He's also a really funny guy who made driving lessons fun whilst helping me get to grips with the seriousness of the test. I passed my driving test the other day, first time with zero faults, and I can say with full certainty, that if it hadn't been for Paul I doubt I would have gotten such a great result! Fantastic experience: My daughter Emma recieved driving tuition from Alan Chadwick. She found him very pleasant and professional, he was always on time and came across as a very skilled instructor. Fantastic experience: When I started taking lessons with Paul I was already in my 40s and also very nervous. Paul is helping me to tackle this. I trust him totally. What I really appreciate is the sense that each lesson is carefully planned to meet my specific needs. I love his examples and illustrations - they are chosen to relate to my circumstances. The debrief at the end of the lesson is always very useful and never hurried; Paul makes sure I am able to identify any issues for improvement by asking me how I thought it went. He's incredibly patient - which has put me at ease and helped to transform my nervous attitude. We've become good friends. I highly recommend PJC driver training whatever your age!
