Fantastic experience: Professionalism mixed with a bit of humor , perfect customer service , Xcelent Truck School Swindon has his trainer , Paul , really hard working individual , he is putting his head into his job and tries to get the best of his students If you know what to expect from a trainer for class 1 , Paul (Truck School Swindon) is what you are looking for Ofcourse not to forget to mention the price, best in town , and I would suggest to do a 1 on 1 training with Paul , even if is a bit more expensive. This way his attention will be concentrated on you and he will do his best to get you eventually on the right path , even if at start you will have the impression he is talking too much What I will not forget about Paul : the mob test we did a day before the exam , how he actually reacted towards me on that mob test and manner he encouraged me on the exam day ( Stan you got this , I know it ...yea... )

Fantastic experience: Wanted to learn to drive Class 1 for a while and finally found the time in February this year. Within 12 days, I had been given all the information needed to sit and pass my theory, hazard perception and driving tests. Paul is an incredibly relaxed and knowledgeable instructor. Putting at ease any and all anxiety. Professionally, he can draw reference to a mistake you made and not make you feel like an idiot. When you are in the drivers seat, you are your own worst enemy. Paul has your back and that is why he's got a 5* review from me. It was a fantastic experience and has been a source of reassurance and confidence knowing that I have other career opportunities now. Fantastic experience: I did my Mod 4 with TSS to start with as I already had my 7.5t license and wanted to start using it, once I met Paul and saw the way he absolutely cherishes his students and teach’s them properly and not half-assed like other companies, along with the fact he charges respectable and fair prices, I never looked back. I then got the bug for driving and decided to step up to class 2, I didn’t hesitate on where to go and TSS was the only way forward! You will not find a better instructor than Paul, he is patient and he will teach you how to drive the vehicle instead of just teaching you the route like most companies. When I finished and passed my class 2 with TSS, Paul said to me “I’ll see you soon for your class 1” and I said not going to happen, I’m done with my class 2.. how wrong I was! Decided to do my class 1 and again there was only one option! It had to be TSS. This is where the fact that Paul teaches you how to drive the truck rather than the routes showed it’s self, one of the test routes was closed so we weren’t going down there, until the morning of my test when I opened and of course I got taken down there! But because of Paul’s top notch teaching, I read the road and the situation and handled it like a boss Paul you are a legend and I will never be able to thank you for what you’ve done for me!

Fantastic experience: Had the massive pleasure of meeting and training with Paul today. I needed a confidence boost prior to starting my class one in Bristol. It took 1 email to Paul and Rebecca explaining my situation and they got me in the very next day (Saturday) to give me some much needed help. Fantastic experience: Had an absolutely fantastic week training with Paul. Already had a Cat C for 8 years and Paul helped me through to my C + E. Always went above and beyond throughout the week course and adjusted his training style with how I was doing. Never felt uneasy and very approachable and able to discuss all good and bad points openly but always in a positive manor. Towards the end of week Paul gave me the decision on any particular areas I would like to focus on to give me the best possible outcome on test day. Fantastic experience: So where can I start . Firstly a massive thank you to Paul and Rebecca for a great experience last week. Never driven a lorry before and using a little smart car for my daily drive to this was making me very nervous. But I got to say Paul put me an ease straight and and given me loads of confidence so I could move forward because this was something I’ve wanted to do for years. Had a excellent week and had some fun along the way to keep them nerves at bay but got to say Paul stayed very professional and kept reassuring me I would make it to the end because I was really starting to think I would never get to the finishing line . But because of Paul’s excellent techniques on how to train someone really is second to none and certainly knows his stuff . After four days of training and the test on Friday and passed first time was amazing. I really want to say Paul you have given me loads more confidence and really changed my life so I can move forward and carry on with my dream now . Fantastic experience: If you want the best training available I highly recommend Swindon truck school with specifically Paul to train you. I turned up Saturday morning with no experience whatsoever in driving with a trailer and the following Friday I passed my HGV CLASS 1 with only 2 minors. Fantastic experience: Firstly 5 stars isn't enough Paul was a brilliant trainer he honestly gave 150% and it was alot of fun, thankyou for such brilliant friendly service! I passed my test a month or so ago elsewhere and wanted some more practice reversing as found there wasn't much training In this area whilst obtaining my license. I booked the 4 hours of reversing training which paul tailored to what i required. After a friendly greeting by Paul who had bought lunch for me due to knowing I had travelled 3 hours [was lovely thankyou] we went straight into actually quite abit more than 4 hours of intense, fun and relevant reversing training tailored to what I wanted and needed! Thankyou again I've taken alot away and had a brilliant time it was a real pleasure!

Fantastic experience: I recently completed a car to artic course with paul in which I passed first time. I genuinely feel that without Paul’s expert training I wouldn’t have been able to master the tight turns and tricky roundabouts of Swindon. From day one paul put me at ease in the truck then slowly built on the good points of my driving to not only pass my test but make me understand driving a truck in the real world. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend truck school Swindon for anyone looking to train or improve. As well as passing my test I had a really enjoyable week cruising round with paul who I’m sure tailors the training to each candidate. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Paul’s 4 hour reversing course is a must for any new pass on class 1. Over the 4 hours Paul coached me through different reversing scenarios for reversing into a bay and other reversing aspects starting off on the basics and progressing by the end I felt confident starting my first job.

Especially to Paul, who has been helping me practice without a break on weekends, and has been teaching me patiently. English is not my first language, and he needs to explain to me again and again, this is not something everyone can do. Fantastic experience: As a new pass class 1 driver I felt I needed some extra reverse training in more real world situations and saw that this company offered a course to help out newly qualified artic drivers. It was a half day session and I came away feeling 10 times more confident in my reversing ability going into my new job. The course was 1 on 1 conducted by Paul and immediately I felt at ease and never felt under any pressure if I made a mistake. This is a course that ALL new pass class 1 drivers should definitely consider. You will learn blind side and tight bay reversing in just one course. B, C & D before. Top level of tuition resulted in me passing my Class 1 licence with only one minor fault. On top of that, the pricing was the most competitive I could find in the Swindon area.

Fantastic experience: I asked a few questions to them, as I had a very bad experience from another driving school in Devizes, they made everything very clear and easy to understand and was very patient with me even though they sounded very busy. They are running a business at the end of the day but was more interested in getting me through the test etc more than the money side of things for example he told me they will not charge you for three days if you only need two..Thank you Swindon Truck School. Update: I have just passed my Class 2 HGV with them, many thanks to the instructor who had patience of a saint who helped me to achieve this, again many thanks to Truck School Swindon I will never go anywhere else if I decide to take my class 1.They are located at Hanger C2, Wroughton Airfield, Swindon, SN4 0QJ.
