Fantastic experience: I’ve always been an anxious driver and spent years learning to drive, but I kept cancelling my test. That was until I met Mev, the first instructor who made me believe I could actually pass. He’s very easy-going, keeps lessons light-hearted, and explains mistakes clearly, helping you move on from them. Thanks to him, I passed first time with only two minors.

Fantastic experience: For my driving test, I approached NxtGen Driving Academy and the driving lessons were curated with just a simple call and also as per my availability and convenience. And about my instructor, Vicki, an absolutely amazing one at what she does. Understood my strengths and weaknesses and assisted me to bring out the best in me by constant encouragement. I cannot thank her enough for the lessons, mock tests, feedbacks and tips, which made it easier for me to pass my exam. Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend NxtGen enough! I completed a 30hr intensive course with Tristan and he was amazing! Made me feel at ease, explained everything thoroughly and was more than happy to go over anything I was nervous about. I went into my test feeling more confident than I ever thought I would and that's thanks to him and NxtGen! I would highly recommend if you want to pass!

Fantastic experience: Louise @ NxtGen Driving Academy is the most amazing, lovely, kind, caring, calming but above all, excellent driving instructor! My daughter, who suffers with anxiety (especially when driving!), passed her driving test in kings Lynn after just a few driving lessons with this amazing lady. Prior to this we had tried several automatic driving instructors in wisbech, peterborough, March and kings Lynn, who were either completely useless or made my daughter feel really anxious and uncomfortable. The minute my daughter and I met Louise we knew we had finally struck gold! She has such a lovely, bubbly and endearing personality, you immediately feel at ease and like you’ve known her for ages. More importantly, she gave my daughter a much needed confidence boost and her driving tuition skills are second to none. Thank you so very much Louise. You truly are one in a million!

Fantastic experience: Ian (my instructor) was amazing, I could not have passed without him and he gave excellent advice. It was clear he really cares about his students and wants us all to pass and be good drivers. Nxtgen were great at being able to book lessons and were always very helpful on the phone.

Fantastic experience: I did an intensive automatic driving course. I passed first time with 3 minors. Very happy with my instructor Carlos he explained things well and gave me lots of information on how to do maneuvers and answered any questions I had and got me through my test. I would recommend using nxtgen

Negative experience: Steer clear of booking with this company. Be sure to thoroughly review past feedback. The office staff's behavior is consistently rude, and the company appears solely driven by financial gain. Regrettably, booking with this company is a complete waste of money.

Negative experience: Do not recommend Still owed money after contacting them multiple times over 2 years. They’ve even gone as far as to block me on Facebook.

Negative experience: Scam waste of money I booked 10 hours lesson with them and paid them £400 and since my first lesson pushing me to book more lessons and didn’t teach me enough and he didn’t even take me to motorway even I have international license because he wants me to book more test and pay more and at the end of lessons they said we will not even give you car for test however in the beginning they said they will allow me to use car for test but didn’t allow me so don’t waste your money with them

Negative experience: The driving instructors can be very rude and just cancel your driving lesson plan due when you ask them for explanation even without prior information. Its really bad. Especially in Norfolk, kings lynn and march areas. This can be improved.

Fantastic experience: Everyone I spoke to on the phone was polite and understanding and made sure my needs were met. As for instructors conal Simpson is an absolutely amazing instructor, helping me pass my test first time. He was understanding and helped calm my nerves when I had gotten myself stressed. The best driving company out there !

Fantastic experience: I did my class 1 c+e with Jack and nxtgen. Jack was a amazing professional instructor and a credit to nxtgen. After having 4 days driving which each day was educational and enjoyable I had a breif period from lessons and test of 7 days. Even with the short brake within twenty minutes Jack brought all the information I learnt back and helped me passed my test on the day. Also after loosing a family member there where more than respectful with moving dates and times in a professional and comfortably manner. Thanks Jack and nxtgen it's been a grate experience..

Negative experience: Intensive course booked, had an amazing instructor and one lesson due to no fault of his own I had someone else, felt that the whole lesson I was not doing a single thing right. After this I wondered whether I should be driving at all, really confidence knock. I have cancelled my remaining 9 hours which because it's an intensive course (is non refundable) the whole company is a joke. Avoid it look around, also the intense in my case was more like 3 days intense and several days at 2 and 3 hours. Not that I mind but it's not what I purchased.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test, after receiving tuition from Paul in the Chester area. I truly owe my result to his efforts. When driving alone, I am sure to recollect a lot of Paul’s advice and teaching as his methods are certainly engaging, encouraging and effective.

Negative experience: Booked a hgv driving course for my wife .informed at the time my wife English was not brilliant but was told this is not a problem. But they said because my wife didn't understand good English we can't get her to pass reverse test so they cancelled my wife test no refund offered and was told no refund will be made. I have since found out that instructors are car instructors not qualified hgv trainers for not trust them my wife went to different driving centre and passed first time. COMPLETE RIP OFF STAY WELL AWAY

Negative experience: horrible expirience To whomever is reading this review, please do not use this company. They will lie to you, not inform you and the instructor will stood you up on the exam day. I have been waiting on the site of the road to be picked up and taken to the exam, however when 15 min. have passed and no one has arrived, I have decided to ring the office this is when they told me that my 3 hour session (included exam in it) been cancelled. no notifications before, nothing. Now company do not want to refund 3 hours worth of course and exam fee back to me, they ignore my correspondence. Hence please do not use this company, there is plenty other ones in your area.

Negative experience: My driving instructor had booked someone else to do their test on the same day as my first lesson, so I received q phone call to cancel my lesson and rearrange. I tried to get a refund and was told that 'it wasn't a big enough amount to refund' I'm sorry, but £80 is big enough for a refund. Had my rearranged lesson anyway and the driving instructor was terrible. Even got out of the car at one point to take a leak as he 'really' needed to go as he's diabetic. We were near public toilets, but he went behind the car instead. Wouldn't recommend and I'm going with someone else for my next lesson.

Fantastic experience: My daughter passed in first chance. Louise Ryley-Borrett, is a fantastic instructor. Her teaching techniques and boosting confidence in her students is incredible. I’d strongly recommend her.

Negative experience: Paid alot of money for an intense. Spent most of the intense sat still listening to my instructors life stories. Or driving around for him to see his wife, or chores he had. Learnt no more then I had already previously learnt in lessons I had prior to my course. Everyone on the phones lovely, but thay doesn't make up for what a shambles my entire experience has been. I was told I needed a further 25 hours but it would be with a completely different instructor. Perhaps if the instructor spent more time focusing on what I was paying for instead of his social life I would of passed by now. But instead my confidence has hit bottom and I'm having to start again slowly, which is costing me so much more then I can afford. Being a single parent forking out that sort of money doesn't come easy, so to just be fobbed off and left with nothing is disgusting. I won't be recommending them. Happy to take the £££ but the service is appalling.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant experience learning from Paul in Chester! Thought I’d likely never pass and walk away, but Paul’s approach to driving and teaching was brilliant and he got me through - Can’t thank NxtGen and Paul enough and have been recommending to everyone I know throughout the process since my first lesson.

Fantastic experience: 5 star experience, had my lessons with Elaine who I couldn’t recommend enough, she’s patient and willing to teach, I was a very nervous driver at the beginning of my lessons and passed today with only 4 minors, if your thinking of booking would highly recommend

Negative experience: its not good to see a mass of either smoke or steam coming from drivers window so much for being a high standard

Negative experience: This company is awful, over charges, drivers don’t turn up, had 3 different instructors thruout the whole course teaching me all different things, 2 of which were useless, they pick you up late and drop you off early, complete shambles of a company, I passed only becasue it was an absolute fluke n that I have had driving lessons in the past, I would not recommend these to anyone, they owe me hours which they said takes a month to be refunded, so quick to take your money but in no rush to return it, the company has potential but unfortunately it looks like it’s going down hill and all they care about is money

Sam Smith was amazing at helping my sister learn to drive, she has her test booked and she is so confident on the road I'd be amazed if she doesn't pass! Sam was also there for the family during bereavements and major surgery, he is more than an instructor to our family, he is a friend now too

Negative experience: Incredible instructors hence the 2 stars. Everything else about this company leads me to not recommend. I had an intensive course in May 2021 and paid £400 up front, I paid the rest in full at a later date. I then had the weeks course, again, incredible instructor. Fast forward to October, I called up asking what's going on to be told I had a test booked in Bury, where I'd never been taught, in a few weeks time that'd been booked months ago to try and get a cancellation. So, I did some lessons in Bury, turned up on the test day after losing money taking time off of work, to be told it was cancelled, months ago. Fast forward to almost a YEAR after my initial lessons and after my provisional had run out and had to pay to redo out of my own pocket, I finally gave up on this company and got a test cancellation in 3 days. I turned down the ones for the next day because of work. I was forgotten about multiple times and left out of pocket because of their mistakes. Remember that £400 deposit I paid in the beginning? I was chased up once in 2021 for that money, I provided proof. I was then sent multiple emails and then a letter threatening physical debt collection in 2022, over money I'd already proved once before that I'd paid in 2021. Everyone seems lovely over the phone but a nice phonecall doesn't make up for what a shamble my experience has been with this company. 2/5.

Fantastic experience: Sam was very patient & calm with my 17 year old son, he was flexible too, fitting in lessons between college & work. He made sure he was confident with every manoeuvre before his test which he passed first time. I can’t thank Sam enough, would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Not very good, complaints not followed up. staff broke lockdown and was told , 'well it don't matter as they are self employed'. It's all about profit to them. Luckily this sector is growing temporarily so choose another company.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Dave for his time and patience with our son who finally passed yesterday. Was frustrating with lessons and tests cancelled due to covid but he got there! Have recommended to a number of friends .... and will no doubt be back in couple of years with our other son!

Fantastic experience: In a period when instructors were in high demand, I found Wesley. Wesley was an absolute star! He made my experience really enjoyable even though I only did six hours and passed! Couldn't have asked for a better instructor. And p.s, the car is modern and clean...Just an all round good experince. Thanks Wes!

Fantastic experience: Rob Watson was absolutely superb going through my trailer test, very patient and made sure I knew everything I needed to know going through the test. Would highly vouch and reccomend

Negative experience: I had previous lessons with them, the instructor was late most of the time, on few occasions did not turn up at all, did not teach me anything. I have called the nxtgen to book lessons with other instructor and nobody called me back, I have called 3 more times after I was waiting few weeks until they allocated somebody.

Fantastic experience: Cpc mod 4 and lgv C passed first thanks to all the team and Martin for the all the je advice give whilst learning. Also completed my B+e last year with the company. I would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Recently passed my test first time and couldn't have been happier. From start to finish the experience was professional and supporting my instructor was Steve bowyer. Everyone I spoke to in the organisation was extremely helpful during a mock test just before my test in bury st Edmunds we stopped at the test centre to familiarise myself with the centre. We saw multiple other next gen instructor's and pupils; some doing proper test some mock tests and everyone was very supportive. 100% recommend them.

Negative experience: An awful experience, paid for lessons never received, picked up late, dropped back early, the instructor was aware I had numerous previous lessons but did not do anything I had discussed wanting to achieve prior to payment... Caused total breakdown in self confidence right at the last minute with no time to organise anything else! Simply dreadful and would never recommend

Fantastic experience: I would really recommend NxtGen driving Academy, as with the help of my great instructors I was able to pass my test first time! My instructors, Garth and Shaun, were both patient and clear when teaching me to drive and very engaging when providing their high quality lessons. An excellent driving school!!

Fantastic experience: Having 2 previous drivers, didn’t really know what to expect but I was so pleased with my new instructor Darren Gardner. He is amazing and so patient and I felt really safe and comfortable learning with him. By far the best and would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Passed with Joe Bass and would highly recommend him if you are in Suffolk and looking for an instructor. Joe has a great approach to teaching- really patient, laid back and gives very helpful advice. If you are nervous, or lack confidence then he's definitely for you- instead of some instructors making you feel like your driving is being criticised, with Joe it's just like you drive around with him and he gives you helpful advice. He will really pay attention to your needs and make sure that you have nothing to worry about for when you're test comes round.

Fantastic experience: These guys are seriously professional. I was lucky enough to be taught by Shaun Finn, I will openly admit I never found driving very easy. After giving up on two different instructors with different companies over the years, I decided to give me Finn one last change to change my life. I didn't hold out much hope as I'm not the easiest person to teach but he surprised me. He never gave up on me, he made me believe I could totally do it. It was the first time I had someone who really had faith in me. As a result I passed my test and have been driving some time now. I get to be the one to take my kids places and it has completely changed my life. These guys are amazing. I really do highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Absolutely poor service, did one lesson with Jamie Phillips and then booked a second one and he never turned up, he also then never got in contact with me about why he never turned up, and a friend of mine got told by him that he blocked my number. Worst driving instructor service I have ever heard of. Would not recommend.

Since joining the franchise, the companies reputation has gone from strength to strength. This success is down to the commitment of the CEO, Shaun Finn and the hard work/ dedication of the other driving instructors. Nxt gen driving Academy was definately the right career move for me.
