Fantastic experience: Switching to Chris as my instructor was the best thing I could’ve done for my driving, and probably the best you could do for your learning journey too. In the space of the first few lessons my driving techniques were dramatically sharpened up and we quickly worked towards being practical test ready in an area that was completely new to me. 4 weeks on from switching to Chris I have passed my practical driving exam and I couldn’t be happier. Chris’ teaching approach, easy to use booking platform and communication style make him a stand-out choice of instructor in the North West and someone who will be my first recommendation to friends and family. Fantastic experience: Couldn’t of asked for a better instructor helped me pass first time and never doubted me helped me get the extra lessons I needed to ensure I was ready for my test date, All around amazing he will make sure ur not picking up any bad habits and make sure ur at ease for the when the test date comes around thank you once again for getting me on the road first time much appreciated mate. :)

Negative experience: If I could leave 0 stars I would, but this instructor has to be one of the most poorly mannered humans, constant attitude and his website is biased with only positive reviews. You cannot cancel bookings online and he responds late to refund requests, whilst also cancelling on you the day of your lessons without notice! His car is absolutely disgusting inside as well, no professionalism. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Negative experience: It all started off good he was a good instructor until I had a couple lessons and all he did was watch his iPad and tell me about how much money he is making then I booked my test and he was calling me every name u see the sun ant then when I failed my test because of his ignorance he then told me he wants £260 for a lesson and a test which he is selling at the expense of learner drivers and making a profit then he threatened me with bailiffs for a lesson missed after I gave him 48hour notice like stated in the terms and conditions he is a decent guy but after all of this I wouldn’t recommend as a driving instructor

Negative experience: Just gone past me whilst he is watching a movie on his phone... whilst driving, video going on YouTube & being sent to the police. Ridiculous!

Fantastic experience: I have been doing lessons with Chris Bardsley around the Oldham and Chadderton area and I’ve passed my driving test first time today. The lessons where enjoyable and also very informative. I feel like DroptheL driving school goes into a lot of detail about what is expected of you as a learner driver to be driving safely on the roads. The lessons I have done were a perfect way to get me on the roads and I couldn’t have done it without them. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is thinking of starting driving lessons soon as they will get you best equipped to pass your driving test .

Fantastic experience: Chris is a brilliant driving instructor got me a first time pass I wasn’t confident at first but he puts you at ease and makes you feel comfortable and confident. He doesn’t make you feel bad about your mistakes which are inevitable when learning which was a big plus for me and I’m sure it would be for many others. I would highly recommend using chris as your instructor hes top notch thankyou!

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the attitude and approach of this ‘professional’ driving instructor. Enquired about availability to be told plenty was available. But after booking a block session discovered that availability did not match advertised opening hours and booking a reasonably frequent lessons (within two weeks) was not possible. Chris was also insisting 2hr sessions (also not as advertised). Refused a refund with all sorts of excuses. Annoyed with him and myself for being mugged. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: I was a very nervous individual in the car, and I was so worried and scared to be behind the wheel. But from the moment I met Chris, he immediately made me at ease and the fear subsided very quickly! Every lesson, he was always very attentive and patient, everything was always very clear and he was would take the time to always identify different ways of learning to suit me and that worked for me as an individual. Chris has been so supportive and accommodating throughout, as well as being very friendly and funny and I will actually really miss my lessons! Never in a million years did I think I would pass first time, and I am convinced it never would’ve been possible with anybody but yourself.

Fantastic experience: I had so many instructors before Chris and none made me feel confident and comfortable with my driving. Chris came to my aid at a desperate time where no instructors were available during my test date and I had poor experience with previous instructors. I hated driving because I wasn't sure about why I was doing some things. With Chris I increased in my driving knowledge, confidence and ability to drive and pass. The years of experience as an instructor show through his professionalism, teachings skills and the resources he makes available to you are very useful. I would definitely recommend Chris to anyone wishing to pass. He's reliable and friendly. Thanks Chris!

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test first time after lessons with Chris, and can't recommend him highly enough. Chris was so patient, understanding and he was great at explaining clearly. From the very first lesson he had me driving on main roads, and I found his trust gave me the confidence I needed. Having had a poor experience with my first instructor from a different company, I was so impressed with Chris and Drop The L, in particular the website and online resources were excellent.
