Fantastic experience: Big thank you to Dave the owner of Bridgend driver training for organising HGV CE category for Ben who passed 1st time just a few days ago. Ben mentioned that Steve and Dave were brilliant friendly and professional. I recently retired from the driver training sector for over 40 years I would highly recommend Bridgend driver training to anyone who’s looking for a HGV driver training school.

Fantastic experience: Did my category c driving test today passed first time, wouldn't recommend any other driving school, everyone there is really friendly and will teach you anything you need to know to pass and very thorough with everything, enjoyed all of it

Negative experience: Waited since november to get on this course, paid in full 15/11/22, heard nothing from them, they just taken my money and done 1, iv now caught up with them(1/3/23, aparently iv slipped though the net‍♂️ ( the only 1). Iv spoke to dave since, who said my money will be back in my account that day, and i still havnt receivd a bean back off them. His Bank says 10 days and still nothing off them after 2 weeks waiting. Its clear to me that dave is lying and hes taken the money. (TRADING STANDARDS,OMBUDSMAN AND SOLICITORS ARE ALL INFORMED) Anybody else in this position i sugfest you take the same action as compansation will be added when it reaches court

Fantastic experience: If you plan to attempt to get your lorry license then look no further than Bridgend driver training. The prices they offer are extremely competitive. I personally elected to attempt the Cat C+E direct course having had no experience in any sized lorry or reversing a trailer. But within two weeks here I am with a Cat C+E license. I had Will as my instructor and honestly he’s the best. His teaching style is great and he really makes you feel in control of the lorry. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the people he teaches and that gave me a boat load of confidence. It’s clear the entire team take great pride in their work and I wish them all the best! Fantastic experience: Very enjoyable experience, and I managed to pass my class 1 test on the first attempt with ease. My instructor was Will, and it is clear he has many years of experience teaching in a HGV. He was very knowledgeable, patient and a great teacher all round. 100% recommended if you need lessons and want to pass first time. Ask for Will, you won't regret it. 5*

Fantastic experience: I can not fault the level of instructional technechiques. They truly are professional and make sure you have all the knowledge to operate safely once you pass your test with confidence and competency! They will not put you in situations you cannot deal with. I went straight in for Class 1 and flew it with 1 minor. I was lucky to have had 3 different instructors over the course so had the most vast amount of tips from each and cannot find 1 fault! Truely amazing thank you!!

'Grumpy' Dave was a pretty firm instructor however looking back it swiftly taught me some discipline which greatly helped. The others, all very patient and intuitive and made it a pleasure. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend BDT if you want to add a higher category to your driving licence, just passed my class 2 with my instructor steve who knows everything you need to know & more to get you through your test. Fantastic experience: I did my LGV 2 with Bridgend Driver Training after losing my job as an airline pilot captain due to covid, and I have to say that the quality and level of training at Bridgend driver training, is as thorough and professional as any I've experienced in any organisation I've ever been a part of. Couple that with genuine high level of customer care and service, they go beyond what a business usually provides to a customer. That fact the price is the most competitive I found was the icing on the cake. Straight forward, uncomplicated, walking me through everything I needed to know step by step. I stated training during August after the covid restrictions began to lift, did my LGV 2 test in mid September and was professionally driving my first class 2 job just 6 days later. I am very grateful to David and the team, and cannot recommend them highly enough. I can't make a comparison with any other driving school but I don't think anyone else could do better. Thank you Bridgend driver training, during a difficult time with so much uncertainty, you've help me find a positive way forward.

Fantastic experience: There are a load of companies out there that will crew two students in one truck and take you on a tour of the test routes for a few days... on those non-driving periods you are litterally along for the ride, but not here in this case! BDT split the day into two and put you out with the instructor so you get QUALITY 1-2-1 training time for the half day you have paid for... The input is tailored to your needs, and results in good scores. I dropped only 3 minors on the HGV2 and 1 on the HGV1 - I put that down to top quality input from Dave and Steve. And, whatever the Hell else you do - DO NOT GO THROUGH AN AGENCY! Do to them directly and get yourself a proper price for good quality input.

Fantastic experience: I read all the reviews prior to booking my CPC and thought the bad ones were probably fake as they held no substance and as it turns out I was clearly right. I can categorically say that the course provided this week to myself and the others was truly professional, engaging and educational. Everyone was friendly and polite and I’ll definitely be returning for any other courses (thinking of doing ADR next) and refresher training. Thanks David, I’ve learned a lot to help me get back in to professional driving this week. Much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: I can not recommend Bridgend Driver Training highly enough. I took my Class 2 HGV and Class 1 HGV training with them, all the instructors were incredibly supportive, gave very clear and easy to understand instructions and explanations about everything. A massive thank you to all of them for getting me through! If I need to do any further training I will definitely go back and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.

Everything is done in house and to a high standard. The training is second to none and covers everything you need to successfully pass your test. Fantastic experience: I don't know who Tom Williams is but really doesn't know what he is talking about, the instructor is extremely helpful and professional, I can honestly say that this is the best HGV Training School in South Wales, they have a good reputation with the Examiners that proves they are giving the right level of training.
