Negative experience: if you like getting shouted at during your 4th lesson then i recommend mary, i should not expect to be screamed at for waiting at a junction for slightly too long for trying to stay safe as a beginner maybe if you are happy with the bare minimum you can pay for this but personally id rather not be upset for the whole lesson whilst still getting shouted at for any single mistake i make edit: there was clearly shouting, it was either shouting instructions or sitting there and waiting for me to figure out what to do when i am meant to be the person LEARNING? also good to note that i was 2 months into driving lessons and multiple people have told me that as a beginner it is not bad to wait at junctions rather than go quickly and risk my own safety . maybe i wouldnt have waited so long if i didnt feel that the instructor was going to scream at me for making a mistake at a junction

Fantastic experience: Faraman is by far the best instructor I’ve ever learnt with. He is super knowledgeable and he supported me all the way along to become a confident driver. He was flexible with the lessons and taught me all the fine details where I needed to focus to drive safely. Today I’ve passed my exam with only 3 minors. Considering how I started driving and how I am getting on now, without him I could not pass the exam at first attempt. Thank you so much, Faraman!

Negative experience: I am utterly shocked at the service, or rather lack of, provided by Mary. I had arranged for a lesson at 9:00-10:00 which was confirmed via text the evening before. This was all payed for in advance. 9:15, no sign of Mary which is completely acceptable since we are all human. 9:30, still no sign so I drop a polite message regarding as to her whereabouts and if the lesson is still to continue. At 9:45, I try calling her. I asked for a refund as I had not received the lesson. As stated on the website, any prepaid lessons that haven’t been delivered must be refunded. At 10:10, I receive a phone call which I can only describe as incredibly rude. I was met with aggression and deflection of blame with Mary stating I should be patiently waiting for her arrival. I was given no explanation as to why she didn’t turn up; I understand life can be unpredictable so even if she was to politely explain that something came up I would have been understanding. If I was to arrive 1h 10 minutes late for my lesson it would absolutely not go ahead. I expect for an owner of a business to hold themselves to the same standard they ask of their clients. Mary hung up the phone. This occurred 3 days ago. I have messaged her trying to resolve this but I have been blocked. I would have expected a business owner to be competent at conflict resolution. I was hoping this would have been resolved privately and I did not have to leave this review as I understand this is Mary’s livelihood. However it is also my livelihood which I used to pay for the lesson. Massively disappointed as this was an issue which could have easily been remedied with a simple text.

Fantastic experience: Mary helped me out at short notice and taught me so much in such a short time, passed with zero faults and is an amazing instructor, patient and easy to get along with and presents important information and the right things at the right time. Highly recommend, thank you again Mary!

He'd had a few weekly lessons beforehand with another instructor but the tuition from the block lessons is what prepared him to take and pass his test. Thoroughly recommended and thankyou Mary

Which is one of the most important qualities I think you need to look for. When I first started, I was hesitant, and had put too much pressure on myself. But she helped in each lesson, and today I passed my test firt try and within few weeks. I cannot thank her enough for everything she has helped me with. I got to the point where I was excited to drive, wanted to get a car and now I can. Thank you MARY, so so much for everything.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience learning auto with Faraman. The lessons were flexible - I could do 1.5hr lessons if I preferred, and I had the choice to pick what I wanted to focus on. I also got very good and honest reviews about what I needed to practise more and improve. I recommend these guys 100%!

Literally the best instructor ever, never made it awkward between us or got extremely angry at me. Taught me throughly. Whenever I made mistake she explained nicely where I went wrong after pulling me to the side safely. She never shouted at me. I didn’t think i would pass first time but with her help I was about to do so. Definitely worth every penny spent as her service is excellent. Couldn’t recommend her enough!!
