Fantastic experience: As somebody who in the past tried several different instructors in a manual car, I struggled immensely with various aspects of my driving journey. I then went to university and put off getting my license for four years until I moved back home. After passing my theory I got in touch with Chris and he was the perfect choice. Chris was a great help in teaching me how to drive and my biggest supporter throughout the entire process. He helped me overcome any and all issues I had with driving and I am forever appreciative of the help and confidence he has helped me to build. He took the time to understand my needs and to address my difficulties in a way that was engaging and enjoyable. Fantastic experience: I’m a naturally very anxious person, and having failed three tests in a manual at 17 years old I’d vowed never to drive again. He was very patient and calm during the lessons which made me feel so much more comfortable and confident while learning. At the end of every lesson your driving notes are emailed to you to reflect on. Chris learned very quickly that my ADHD causes some processing delays along with negative narratives and overthinking. Chris took the time to learn about my brain and came up with a toolkit that I am now using every time I sit in my car; from sayings to breathing techniques. Chris doesn't just teach you to drive, he teaches you to become one of the Good Drivers with experience and knowledge all taught in an honest, open and safe way, all while learning about the needs of the student next to him. Negative experience: Do not book this company ! Chris smacked my hand during lesson and was aggressive/ scary. Chris cancelled 5 days before my test as he thought I had reported him to DVLA. After making a review he disclosed personal information about myself on Facebook. I was then told if he won’t take it down until I took my review down. Do not book this company avoid the ordeal I have been through. Will not give me the dash cam footage as you will clearly hear me say multiple times I don’t appreciate being hit or screamed at whilst crying.

Fantastic experience: I had the wonderful pleasure of learning to drive with Chris and would highly recommend him as an instructor. He knows exactly how to take your current skills and knowledge of driving to the next level. He is keen on helping you learn exactly what you need to know for your test, while teaching in a way that is practical and suitable for you to use post test. Not only do you learn by instruction, Chris also uses other tools such as visual images on his IPad as well as sending you key pointers on what your learnt that day. As someone who suffers with anxiety, Chris was always calm, patient and understanding of my worries. Through his continous support and positivity, I was able to learn to become confident within myself. Thanks to Chris, I was able to pass my second exam attempt with only 3 minors! They care about how you learn and want to understand your learning techniques. They’re very friendly chat to you and make sure that your feelings are taken into consideration. Fantastic experience: Geoff taught my daughter how to drive. He was clear with his instructions, patient and encouraging when she was nervous. He helped my daughter feel confident in her driving abilities. Geoff doesn’t just sit giving instructions he takes notes and sends them over after every lesson. If he notices there a specific manoeuvre or part of driving that you struggle with, he plans his lesson to ensure you practice this in order to help you over come this. He is highly professional, well spoken and a complete joy to be around whilst I was on my lessons. He has been extremely accommodating and supportive during my lessons as I had to have a procedure and treatment at hospital - in which he worked around me and always fitted me in for lessons - Which I am highly grateful for as I never fell behind! Fantastic experience: Geoff has legitimately changed my life, when I first began learning with him I was anxious of driving to the point I wanted to cry behind the wheel, in a matter of months he took me from there to where I am now. A confident driver who adores being on the road and finally has independence. He was kind, patient and thorough throughout our lessons and really helped me overcome my fear of driving. Even on test day he was the same calm and collected tutor that he had been the entire time and really helped me feel calm before I got in the car. Fantastic experience: Geoff is the best driving instructor out there! His teaching techniques make it easy to understand & I have passed my test and now feel confident to be able to tackle any situation in the roads! He has a range of visual aids on the iPad that make it easy to go over the different road types & situations. We always pulled over & discussed anything that came up at the time rather than waiting for the end of the lesson. The mindmap summaries each week are also great to help you decide on what to focus on next lesson. Geoff is calm & patient. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough to anyone looking to learn in an automatic!

Fantastic experience: I tried two other local driving instructors, before finding Chris at Learn2Drive No Gears, and the way Chris teaches is leagues above the rest. I have ADHD, Autism, dyspraxia and physical illnesses that make me tired, but Chris was able to understand my limitations. Lessons with Chris were stress free - he never gets angry, even when confronted with idiot drivers on the road. He has a range of visual aids, on his iPad, which make things so much more easy to understand. Two hour lessons gave time to drive from Tring to Leighton Buzzard. I learnt to drive - not to just pass my test (which I passed first time!). I can’t imagine a better instructor.

At the beginning I was discouraged, because I've had couple of lessons with 2 instructors and from the first lesson Geoff helped me build my confidence. I had the best experience and best quality training. I passed my driving test from the first try with only 3 minor faults.

Fantastic experience: I came to Learn 2 Drive with little to no driving experience, on my first lesson I didn’t know the difference between the accelerator and the brake which says it all really. Chris spent time planning my lessons to suit my needs and was always happy to explain things in depth to me and never made me feel like any question was stupid although I am sure some were. Chris was professional and spent time at the end of each lesson to note down key points so that when you would get back into the car the next week you can pick up right where you left off. I would recommend Learn 2 Drive to anyone and everyone. I feel confident to go out and drive on my own now and to be able to do that safely. I’ll miss our lessons but thanks so much for helping me successfully learn how to drive.

Fantastic experience: Best driving instructors! I am a super slow leaner and easily getting nervous/panic. English is not my first language and it is quite difficult for me to learn to drive. However, Geoff and Chris teach me very patiently, make sure I understand everything clearly and encourage me all the times. My observation and control improved a lot. Fantastic experience: Just had my test and I passed first time! I had Chris who was much better than my previous instructors! All around very organised with scheduling and booking lessons and making each lesson centered around what I wanted to learn and practice on from beginning till the test! Great service in tracking all the routes I had learnt and mindmapping all the things that went well and needed to be practices on more at the end of lessons! Having tried other instructors and not making much progress, I was anxious about my lessons recommencing. However, learning to drive with Chris exceeded my expectations - he was incredibly patient, personable and non-judgemental. Fantastic experience: After spending 2 hours a week with Chris every Thursday since September i have learnt so much, with things such as the manoeuvre’s as well as how to get out of hard situations that i can carry onto my future driving. Chris has watched me cry from being scared and he has supported me and helped me get on with it. I’ll always remember the jokes we had in the car and how comfortable i always felt. I did a mock test with Geoff and he watched me mess a lot up but i never felt judged, both of them have such a calming presence. I 100% recommend learn2drive!

Fantastic experience: I came to Learn2Drive No Gears after not seeing much progress with a manual car and questioning if driving was ‘my thing’. It was a long way and hard work where Chris supported me endlessly yet was firm and straightforward when needed. Calm and professional, always making sure that at the end of the lesson there are no unclear bits remained using all sorts of supporting materials - learning apps, drawings on a sat nav map, a model car and a board. Highly adaptable - we are all different and the lessons were planned around the areas I personally struggled with - if we needed to spend a whole lesson practising parallel parking over and over again, then it’s what we did. Chris has helped me to build confidence and lifelong skills rather than get ‘test ready’ which has helped me loads post test when I had to break that connection with an ‘experienced passenger’ and start to make my own journeys. I cannot thank & recommend Learn2Drive No Gears more.

Geoff came highly recommended by my partner; he saw him through a first-time pass. His feedback during and after each lesson was always helpful and constructive and his encouragement in the run up to my test (including the nail biting moments just before the test) really helped to boost my confidence. I came to driving later on, after living in London for near 20 years, where it just wasn’t needed, and with the pandemic hitting public transport services, I had to bite the bullet. So 6 months ago, I started lessons with Geoff, bought a car (bit of added motivation!) and am so thrilled to say that I passed first time a couple of days ago. Geoff has all the qualities you need in a good instructor - reliable, calm, patient but firm when needed, explains things clearly and simply making sure you understand and always provides a useful mindmap after lessons which really helps pinpoint your strengths and weaknesses. Fantastic experience: Passed my test with Learn2Drive No Gears after only a few 2hour lessons with Geoff and only a couple of lessons in his new car. I have driven with many different driving instructors but I can honestly say his car is the easiest car to drive and park, with lots of helpful features. I got myself a car after 4 weeks of lessons with Geoff. Unbelievable

Fantastic experience: I couldnt reccomend Geoff enough! He is extremely reliable and also an amazing teacher. He has all sorts of tools set out to help explain different scenarios which helped me so much! He wrote down mind maps at the end of each lesson which focused on the highlights and also the things to work on so we knew what we could focus on next lesson. He is also very flexible and works so hard to accommodate for all eventualities. I'm happy to have had Geoff as my instructor.

Fantastic experience: Geoff was a great instructor. As a person who needed to convert from a US license to UK Geoff was able to assess my abilities and create a plan to suit. I appreciated the fact that we took it on a class by class basis based on skill rather than having to buy a block set of classes. In the end I passed on my first try and I am grateful to have learned the rules of the road!

Fantastic experience: Geoff is a brilliant driving instructor -- he's patient, calm, extremely knowledgeable and knows how to prompt you to get the best out of your driving capabilities. If you'd have told me before I started driving lessons that I'd be able to pass with c.20 hours or so, I'd have laughed, but having spent time with Geoff, it soon became apparent that his style of coaching would have me driving well in a short space of time. He's always professional and courteous. Communication by phone and e-mail is excellent -- always clear and responsive. Thanks again for an enjoyable few months and getting me through at my first attempt with just one minor. No hesitation in recommending to any learner driver.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Learn2Drive no gears, Geoff is extremely knowledgeable and thorough driving instructor. After have gone with other big brand companies in Milton Keynes and not having a great experience I’m glad I did my lessons with Geoff as now I’ve passed first time.

Fantastic experience: Geoff is an amazing instructor, thanks to him I was able to pass my driving test first time with only 1 minor driving fault. He makes you feel really comfortable and prepares you for driving in the real world not only for your test. I can not recommend him enough.

To say that I entered this experience doubting I would ever be able to pick it up let alone pass my test first time as a confident driver is an understatement... But low and behold I did!
