Fantastic experience: Just passed my Cat C LGV test, Andy my instructor made the last 4 days really informative and enjoyable. He was very calm and made me feel at ease straight away, and by test day I felt really well prepared. Everyone at Castle was very helpful and I would highly recommend using them.

Fantastic experience: I took a 6 day intensive HGV course with Castle LGV Training and had Malcolm as my instructor. The whole team was fantastic and did everything they could to help me pass my test at the 1st attempt. Unfortunately, my test was cancelled on day 5, which was no fault of Castle at all. My next available test date was 3 weeks later. I made 1 major error, due rustiness, I put that down to the postponement and nerves. The guys at Castle did everything they could to get me the next available retest date which, due to the time of year, wasn't available until after Christmas and New Year. Again due to examiner sickness my test date was cancelled AGAIN. I was devastated but was motivated and encouraged by the family at Castle to stay focused and in a positive frame of mind. I finally got a retest 10 weeks after my training and passed with zero faults. 3 weeks later I started driving Class 1 lorries at double my previous pay as a bus driver. I have nothing but praise and thankfulness for the Castle family. 1 year later I'm still driving for the same company, still humble and grateful, and proud of my achievement. I cannot recommend Castle LGV Training highly enough. If you want to change your life give them a call and get your training booked.

Fantastic experience: Just completed my D1 course over four days for work purposes with Calum, one of the instructors. Calum is clearly passionate about what he does and this really shows through his knowledge, approach and teaching manner. I’m pleased to say that this led to me passing my test. The whole experience has been very easy from my initial contact with Nikki who was regularly in contact, even though this was booked through my workplace, all the way through to walking away with my D1 license. Fantastic experience: Had a 4 day D1 course with Andy, one of the instructors. Really nice friendly bloke very understanding of every level of driving. Got me ready for my test and I passed with zero minor faults. Excellent communication from Nikki in the office of where to meet at what time. Can’t fault the team they were fantastic.

Fantastic experience: I recently took my D1 course through this company and they were brilliant. Andy was my main trainer and I had Neal for the last day. They were both incredibly patient with me and took the time to build my confidence, skills and knowledge to prepare me for driving the larger vehicle. They were flexible and trailered the training to suit my personal needs. I am very proud to say that due to this I was able to pass my DVLA test at the end with NO MINORS! I never would have been able to do that without them. Thank you Andy and Neal!!!!

Fantastic experience: C+E Training, Class 1 Training went well and I passed on the 1st attempt. A few things didn't suit me during training, and I asked them to amend it. They kindly adjusted for me as requested. Reverse parking lorry trailer was challenging for me. Many thanks to the team at The Castle.

Being a trucker and driver trainer for many years, I can't say I'm surprised at his enthusiasm which shone through. Nikki in the office also deserves a mention as she provided me with all the info I needed for the course without fail. Will definitely return for any future training!

She quickly sent through the quotes for the course (very competetive with price) and explained the process. She was super friendly, efficient and helpful though the whole process. I was quickly booked into both my theory and practical, working around my work schedule. Andy was the instructor assigned for the driving part of the course. Had a really enjoyable couple of days with him, learning loads and most inportantly passed my C1 practical FIRST TIME, without any minors. Fantastic experience: Passed my direct to C+E with just 1 minor, thanks to some very skilled and experienced instructors. Firstly some super easy to pick-up intro sessions with Malcolm (was lucky enough to get some extra training in Brighton on how to deal with unexpected situations), followed by really thorough, clear and precise instruction from Callum. I felt more than ready by the time I did my test (after just 5 days). I chose Castle as they were recommended by the owner of a national haulage firm, and I'm so glad I did. Nikki in the office was great, and made the experience very easy from the start. If you are considering HGV training, I would highly recommend going with these guys!

Fantastic experience: From the moment I called their office 6 months ago I knew I was dealing with a great company. Nikki explained the process really well and helped with getting all the forms, provisional licence and arrange my medical etc. When I finally had the time to do the training everything went really smoothly. The lessons were also very good. Rod is a really calm, kind, friendly and knowledgeable guy. He has so much experience and I felt really at ease throughout the whole process. Unfortunately I made a couple of mistakes during my first test and failed but within a week I was back in the driving seat with Rod and I’m pleased to say after some more expert tuition focussing on the areas I had failed in, I did pass second time round. I would recommend Castle HGV to anyone looking to get their truck/HGV license. Prices are reasonable and the company seems well organised and full of people who really care about each other, the business, the customers and what they are doing. They want you to pass as much as you want to pass, if you take it seriously they are right behind you with the knowledge and experience needed to get you driving correctly and safely within days!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic 4 days Cat C, highly recommended and be back for my C+E. If you can, go direct to 1st Castle as response for enquiries will be super fast and training is superb! Photo of those on the 8am tests outside the cafe, 4th truck on route with high pass rates! Andy and Neil are fantastic instructors and will explain the faults and give reason to issues rather than just state you did wrong or "this is what the test center wants" but give an example or story from experience as to why in the real world which helps you understand why it's done a certain way. See you guys in a month!
