Fantastic experience: Phil believed in me more than I believed in myself. From my very first lesson to my last, he turned every doubt I had about my driving into a positive and without him as my instructor I would have never conquered my nerves and achieved the pass I have today. Every lesson was filled with laughter and fun alongside his patient and effective way of teaching. He went above and beyond into making me not only a good driver but feel confident in my driving also. I am so grateful for him and will miss our lessons lots. I cannot recommend him enough.

Phil also pushed me so that I could become the best driver. Phil is honestly the best instructor around. He makes sure you are more comfortable by creating a safe place getting to know you. This also helped behind the wheel and allowed me the ability to talk and whilst safely driving a car.

Every lesson was fun and exciting, and I always left every lesson with a smile on my face feeling confident in my ability to drive. I couldn’t recommend anyone more than I recommend Phil as a driving instructor , he is incredibly clever in his way of teaching driving that instantly clicks in your brain and quickly becomes a second nature. He also takes time during lessons to get to know me as a person which not only made me feel more comfortable but also helped put me at ease behind the wheel and allowed me the ability to talk and also listen to music whilst safely driving a car so that driving became once again a second nature to me.

Fantastic experience: After moving to Phil after a poor experience with a larger company, I quickly realised what a proper driving instructor is. Reliable, personal, professional and great at his job. He helped me pass first time without any practice for three weeks due to me being at uni. Phil prepared me and got me so ready I could pass instantly. Couldn't recommend high enough.

Fantastic experience: I went with Phil after failing my test in Rochdale with a different instructor. I learnt nelson in around 6 or 7 lessons and passed first time. He’s saved me money and taught me how to drive safe. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: After years of learning and failing my test 6times I was ready to give up then phill was recommended to me, he made me feel at ease from day one, his excellent methods for remembering manovers and also his great sense of humour made learning to drive the enjoyable experience it should be. As the months went by my confidence grew and I felt ready to go for my test, phill was so supportive never doubted me once, his last words as I walked out for the test were good luck pal you can do this, and guess what I did I passed first time!!! Fantastic experience: I have absolutely loved driving with phil!! two years I was with my old instructor and kept failing as I wasn't being taught the right things and lessons used to get cut short. not with phil! he has THEE best ways of teaching & his funny metaphors will never fade and always make me remember things. lovely and easy car to drive, very smooth and alot of great techniques with manouvers, never once late, in fact he was always early! not stingy for time and money was cheapest iv come across so far. obviously he made me pass! started with him in November and passed my test in January. I really couldn't recommend him enough I actually feel sorry for people that don't go with him as they don't know what they are missing! I wish I'd have gone with him years ago.very sad my lessons are over I am going to miss my Saturday's but thank you so much I wish you all the very best of luck in life your a brilliant teacher and a brilliant guy in general your wife and kids must be so proud of you for who you are. Fantastic experience: Just passed first time!! After struggling with my first instructor, I can only wish I had started sooner with Phil. My confidence grew over night with his structured lessons and plans. Every week he would email a progress report of what I had been focusing on that week. He is very fair with prices and works his hardest to suit your needs. After witnessing two different instructors and teaching methods, I cannot recommend The Walton’s Driving School any more.
