I offer driver training for both beginners and full licence holders who need refresher courses. I cover an area centred on Saffron Walden and surrounding villages, extending to an approximate radius of 10 miles or so. That would incorporate areas as far as south Cambridge, Linton and Stansted.
Please note I only do manual lessons - NOT automatic. I no longer do lessons at weekends either (1 off 'emergencies' being exceptions!), my core days being Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm.

Fantastic experience: I passed first time entirely because of Paul! Despite not being able to practise outside lessons, he made sure that I felt confident and ready for my test. Fantastic experience: I recently passed my test in Cambridge after several months of lessons with Paul (failed my first attempt in Colchester). He's an excellent instructor who helps build your confidence and skills. I found preparation for test in both Bishop's Stortford and Cambridge particularly helpful. I was well prepared for my Cambridge test and familiar with the tricker parts of the route following several practice session. Lastly I'd point out Paul is very accommodating of a varied schedule - and helps you to ramp up hours as you get nearer to your test. Thoroughly recommended for any new driver in the Saffron Walden area!

Fantastic experience: Paul is a fantastic driving instructor, we're so glad to have been able to have him - my seventeen year old son has just passed his test 1st time and is obviously delighted! Paul is always so friendly, calm, patient and knowledgeable (son's words!) and really put my son at ease when he first started lessons. Fantastic experience: Paul Heath is a fantastic driving instructor! My seventeen-year-old daughter has just passed her driving test and is thrilled. She felt a bit anxious about learning to drive at first but Paul is so kind and friendly that she soon relaxed. Paul is organised, reliable and very experienced. As a parent, I had every confidence that my daughter was being taught how to drive properly. Things have been hard for young people over the last couple of years and Paul understands how being able to drive gives young people valuable independence. We will miss Paul!

Fantastic experience: Paul is the best driving instructor in the county. Paul is extremely patient, friendly and helpful. He is dedicated to the profession. Paul is very punctual and organized. He is an amazing person as he makes you feel at ease and helps us to take every information clearly which helped me do really well. Paul has a very jovial personality and will adapt to client's needs and choice of pick up and drop off which makes life much easier. Paul is very well updated with all the test routes in Bishops and Cambridge which gives the student good experience of the routes. When it comes to mock tests, Paul will assess absolutely every fault so we don't repeat that in the actual test. I got 10 minors and 2 serious in my mock test and a day later I passed my driving test with 3 minors. I would strongly recommend Paul to all

He was always flexible with working around my exams and the lessons were always enjoyable - under his guidance I feel like I made a lot of progress without properly realising it. Fantastic experience: I could not have asked for a better instructor, Paul always made me feel very comfortable. He is very patient and understanding. Communication was always very easy and would arrange lesson to my needs as close as possible. I was able to start my lessons at home and finish at college, or anywhere within reason. I passed my test first time with four minors. Would strongly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Paul is patient, kind and understanding of the fact that you cannot be the perfect driver. But, he does his very best to teach his pupils well on how to be a safe driver (which is exactly what we need). I myself had a positive experience with Paul and would definitely recommend him to others. Thanks to him I was able to pass my second driving test with only 5 minor faults. Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend Paul to learn to drive with! Before I started learning with Paul I had attempted my driving test quite a few times and couldn't pass it. I passed it straight away after learning with him! He is patient, relaxed, a good teacher and easy to talk to and his car is really nice to drive!

Fantastic experience: I'd highly recommend Paul as an instructor. After failing my first test in London a year ago he helped me to rebuild my confidence to pass the second time around. I had a tight deadline to complete my practical test before my theory test pass ran out and he was flexible with getting enough lessons in before the practical, even with my limited availability as I commuted up from London.
