Fantastic experience: I was very lucky to have the opportunity to have Damien as my instructor. The process he took me on was not only really comfortable but also efficent. I really recommend him for both confident and shy drivers as he handles both very well. I managed to pass within 6 weeks thanks to Damien and when I first saw him (on my 17th birthday) before stepping in a car I saw a very long pathway to get my drivers license however it was the opposite. The patience he had for me as a student was very comforting and flipped my confidence completely.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Damien as I was looking for an instructor for my son who is quite anxious. Damien was lovely, he came to meet my son, introduced himself and showed him around his car and talked about what he could expect, before we had even committed to lessons. There was an instant rapport and my son started lessons with him. Damien’s approach was perfect, slowly building confidence in my son’s ability and he looked forward to the next lesson. The difference from their first meeting to today is incredible and has been a wonderful journey to watch. Today, my son passed his test first time. Damien, you have been wonderful with H, and I know he thinks highly of you. Thank you so much for all the support you have given him.

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor Brent was able to help me pass my test first time with only 2 minors. He always stayed very calm when I made some silly mistakes during lessons which I think really helped me to focus instead of panicking. He always explained everything very thoroughly and constantly reminded me of things I would need to remember for the test (mirror checks, parking techniques, speeding etc). Overall I would recommend Turning Point to anyone looking to pass their test sufficiently as well as skills for every day driving once you’ve passed.

Fantastic experience: Damien has helped massively in helping me achieve what I thought was impossible. Despite the anxiety I had while learning to drive, Damien always kept calm and collected, even when I made mistakes. In moments where I felt overwhelmed or stressed, he was very good at uplifting the mood whether it was by making me laugh or offering a new perspective usually with a fun anecdote. He made the process of learning to drive an enjoyable experience. Damien helped me to believe in myself and I'm now at a point where I actively enjoy driving. I would highly recommend Damien to anyone, especially for those struggling with anxiety or lack of confidence.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Damien and Turning Point. I had taken some driving lessons in the past with another instructor, but I was lacking confidence (having not driven for 4 years). After starting with Damien, my confidence quickly grew. He is an extremely good instructor; detailed instruction but in a way that was easy to understand. I also felt that the lessons were of high quality but were fun as well - Damien was really easy to get along with. I thought the lesson fees were very reasonable - they book all of your lessons in advance and around any commitments you may have. Once again - would strongly recommend, particularly if you have low confidence or anxiety about driving.

Fantastic experience: i would rate this 5 stars because i think that damien is an excellent teacher who is very clear when he is explaining things and is very supportive when things seem tough, i will always miss our talks about cars and the ones we always use to spot on the road and i would recommend damien to anyone who wanted a good driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Damo has been a brilliant instructor, as an older and very anxious driver he was able to adapt his teaching style in a way which allowed me to learn efficiently. Having no prior driving experience he was able to guide me from start to finish with well constructed plans each week which kept everything fresh while also learning new things every lesson. Being a slow learner and lacking confidence Damo was very patient with me and gave off calm and relaxed vibes even in tense situations for me, while keeping our lessons light hearted with chats deflecting from the pressures of learning. He also kept in touch with me at all times to offer advice in between lessons and I didn’t feel forgotten about once our lessons were over, he always made time for me. In short I would recommend Damo for all learners regardless of experience as he can adapt his teaching style for the individual. Although I passed today I’ll be very sad to not spend my Sunday mornings with him. Damo 10/10

Fantastic experience: I had Damien as my driving instructor over the last 8/9 months and I could not be more grateful! Damien is very friendly, chilled out and happy, which I truly believe made my driving lessons something to look forward to. Fantastic experience: I had Damien as my instructor over the last year and passed my test this morning first time, our lessons were always fun and we would always find something to have a laugh at with whatever we saw(even if it was about Costa discounts from days between our lessons). Damien is very patient and understanding as an instructor and very easy to learn from, and anything I wanted/needed to go over again we were able to do that without any problems at all, I always looked forward to our lessons and when I was in the car driving it didn't feel like a driving lesson with him in the car as it just felt like I was going on a drive with a friend instead of a driving instructor which is something I think is great when learning to drive as it takes away a lot of pressure from the experience, it was a very fun and eventful year and I really enjoyed it, Thank you damien

Fantastic experience: My youngest daughter just passed her test with Damien - she was a very anxious learner but with Damien’s patients and calming manner she flourished under his instruction (so much so I would be a passenger in her car!!!). Fantastic experience: I learnt with Jan, he was so patient with me, I had really bad anxiety during my lessons. Jan helped by teaching techniques and letting me have breaks when needed. I would never have passed my test without him. I passed both my theory and practical first time.e. Jan also hoped with this, we would go over theory questions whilst out on lessons. Couldn't recommend earn more :)

Fantastic experience: Damien at ILearn Safe Driving was a superb driving instructor for my son who has ADHD. Damien also advised my son to apply for extra time for his Theory test due to him having ADHD which helped enormously. We would not have known this was possible without Damiens advise! Damien was patient, supportive and has the wonderful ability to have a great balance of friendship and professionalism which was fantastic for my son to feel at ease and aide in his learning to drive. I’m happy to report that my son passed his Practical Driving Test first time, and do not think this would have been possible without the support, guidance and teaching style Damien was able to provide. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ilearn Safe Driving what-so ever, in particular Damien who without doubt has a gift in teaching driving!
