Fantastic experience: Bren is an absolutely fantastic instructor who went above and beyond for me. He was so patient and really wanted me to succeed which made getting in the car every week a joy. The value of the lessons are really second to none both in terms of quality and cost! One thing that I really appreciated about Bren was his style of teaching and communication. He was always straight to the point and direct with me which made the learning process straightforward and truly easy to understand. I passed first time with 3 minors and Bren made that possible. On the day of my test he bought me a McDonald’s breakfast which we ate whilst going through the Show me Tell me questions, it really helped calm my nerves and took the weight off my shoulders. On a personal level I really enjoyed getting to know Bren and catching up with him every lesson, he is so easy to talk to and makes for a great conversation! I wholeheartedly recommend St Helens One and Bren to anyone wanting to learn to drive, he’s by far the best option out there and will make learning to drive a fun, positive experience.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 instructor! After trying 3 previous driving instructors I came across Bren after reviews of his great first time pass rate. Having my first lesson I'd learnt more than I ever had before and continued to do so every lesson after. Bren is so passionate about helping you learn while always cracking a joke and making you laugh while doing so. A great guy and a fantastic driving instructor, I will reccomend to everyone I know that wants to learn to drive. I never thought I'd pass first time, but here I am! Fantastic experience: Bren is a brilliant driving instructor. He is very professional and ALWAYS on time. He always pushed me to do my best and was always very patient with me especially when I was a totally new driver with no experience of British roads. Fantastic experience: I was very nervous in the beginning but Bren quickly made me realise that we were not only going to be safe whilst I was driving, but he also showed me how there was nothing to be worried about in the first place. He was always flexible with the lessons if I needed any time off or if I needed to change days or times and I always finished my lessons feeling as though I had good value for my money. Time spent during the lessons was excellent as Bren is easy to talk to and get along with, as well as being a superb teacher, which certainly made the experience much less daunting for myself. I couldn't recommend Bren and St Helens One more highly and would suggest that anyone, despite levels of experience and nervousness, should give him a call and start your lessons as soon as.

Fantastic experience: I have passed my test today and I am really happy. It's such a great feeling when you're told you've passed. My first instructor before Bren wasn't very helpful after many lessons where I was just wasting my money. After going with Bren my driving skills soon got a lot better and increased my awareness on the road. I can't thank Bren enough. I highly recommend him and the lesson prices are well worth the money as he is a 5 star instructor.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Brendan to anyone as he is a great instructor to be with. Fantastic experience: Returning learner, after about 15 years. Bren made me feel relaxed and assured from day one. Easy to get along with, whilst proving efficient well rounded lessons. I never thought I would pass so soon after starting to learn again, but Bren gave me the confidence I needed and I passed on my first attempt as a result! This is why I would 100% recommend St. Helens One to ANYONE who is wanting to learn to drive. Bren is exceptional at teaching his pupils; offering all the help they require with his superb understanding and in depth knowledge. St. Helens One Driving School has an outstanding first time pass rate, that really does speak for itself. Fantastic experience: St helens one driving school is outstandingly good! Firstly, Bren helped me to grow in confidence behind the steering wheel of the car, he is very knowledgeable and trustworthy! On test day, he payed for breakfast before my test and helped me stay calm and relax before my test, i believed this helped me through my test as i felt fully awake and aware.
