Fantastic experience: Great driving instructor. I came from a previous instructor feeling unconfident. I also have ADHD. He worked hard with me. Lessons were always good. I passed first time thanks to Rich.

Fantastic experience: I approached Richard with quite a complicated request at only about three or four months’ notice - essentially, I had a narrow window of time to stay with my grandparents in Cheshire whilst studying abroad, so wanted a week of semi-intensive lessons in the summer with a test at the end. I’d failed a test elsewhere back before the pandemic, and with that knock to my confidence and then the pandemic backlog I’d allowed my driving to lapse, so I was feeling quite despondent about the whole thing. Richard organised the week impeccably so I could be fitted around his regular pupils, and I found that a week driving with him really lifted my spirits. He is extremely calm, clear, and knowledgeable about the roads and the test - things that had always flustered me suddenly seemed obvious and straightforward. He’s also just a great person to spend a lot of time in a car with, and I really enjoyed getting to know him. When I fluffed something in the test at the end of the week he was super encouraging about booking a new one. I found a cancellation after getting back from abroad, which he was able to accommodate with an extra lesson slotted in at less than a week’s notice - this time I passed quite easily. I’ve been learning on and off for almost a decade now, and without Richard’s help I suspect I would never have managed to drag myself to the end of this process. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to any would-be drivers.

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough good thing about Rich. Rich helped our daughter pass her driving test today. His tuition is top-notch. He liased with us over our daughters' tuition, gave feed back on what we needed to work with her on in her own car and was very supportive through through the whole learning process. Fantastic experience: I am still dancing for joy after passing my test with lovely Rich as my instructor. I genuinely, whole heartedly cannot recommend Rich enough, so much so i will be sending my better half his way when they are ready to get a driving ticket too freedom. Rich is a wonderful instructor on all counts. Very friendly, reliable, extremely knowledgeable, approachable (no question is a silly one, even if like me you ask it 100 time over) and hugely calm!! Anyone that is apprehensive about getting behind a wheel and hitting the roads for the first time, Rich is ideal to be with. A blanket of calm and never makes you feel stupid for making a mistake (of which I have naturally done many in the learning process). I felt very safe driving with him, I swear he has ten sets of eyes and a photographic memory so you can rest assure you are in great company when nervous and out on even the busiest of roads. I enjoyed every lesson. I could waffle on all day, singing his praises but the point is - Rich has proven you can still teach an old dog new ticks, even ones that still struggle with their left and right. I passed thanks to Rich, so so will you. Good luck in your learning journey newbies, you wont go wrong if you pick Rich.

The first time I passed he helped me learn very quickly and helped me build my confidence when driving in a comfortable environment. Then when I had my license revoked he helped me pass again with zero faults and in good time. I would highly recommend using Richard to learn how to drive and thank you again for helping me pass.
