Fantastic experience: Just brilliant. I told Mike that I wanted to be passed by the end of the year, and we did. I started lessons in June and passed in the beginning of December. Explained mernovers, road layouts and ways to remember the signs really easy. I was nervous to start learning again as I hadn't had a good experience in the past when I was trying to learn; but Mike put me at ease and we had a great laugh while learning. You would be incredibly lucky to be able learn with Mike. But keep in mind I'm his favourite student, hahaha Thanks Mike for all your help.

Fantastic experience: Mike is a very patient driving instructor. I started from scratch having just passed theory test but with no idea about practical driving in UK with respect to the large number of rules, roundabouts and different road types (Dual carriageways etc). His teaching methods will inspire confidence in you and give you the skills and confidence to drive safely and pass your practical tests. He has a well developed tool for keeping an eye on your progress. He documents it so that no stone is left unturned. This was instrumental in my experience at passing my practical test this year.

Fantastic experience: Mike is an absolute legend ! I highly recommend using Mike to teach you learn to drive. If you have any worries or second thoughts about giving him a ring, then my advice is don’t hesitate, just meet him and he will put you at ease in an instant. I have severe anxiety and panic attacks yet this man helped me every step of the way. Mike truly doesn’t know how special he is, other instructors failed me, but Mike allowed me to go at a pace of learning that I was comfortable with and was professional and respectful the entire time. He’s an excellent driving instructor, with the reflexes of a ninja and patience of a saint. I honestly can not thank him enough. If only someone recommended him sooner then I would have been driving a long time ago as Mike managed to get me to pass first time trying !! Fantastic experience: Mike is the best driving instructor I've ever met! I've been learning to drive for 13 years so I've had many instructors. Mike is very clear with his instructions and patient with explaining them to me many times. I have a learning difficulty (dyspraxia) and he was able to come up with solutions that helped me manage my struggles with directions. I've always felt embarrassed by my struggles with driving and previous instructors were unkind, but Mike never made me feel judged and his encouragement built my confidence, which made me less anxious and helped me become a competent driver. Something for many years I didn't believe was possible. He was also very flexible on lesson times and punctual which I always appreciated. He gave me a progress card which was motivating as it allowed me to see the areas that still needed work and focus on what was going well. I feel able to conquer the roads thanks to Mike's excellent teaching skills and I am very greatful for his support.

Fantastic experience: Mike is a fantastic instructor...without a doubt the best of 3 I've had now. I would give 6 stars if possible! From the start Mike carefully listened to me, adapting the lessons to suit my specific needs & current ability. He's very thorough, knowledgable & patient without being robotic. He always took the the time to ensure I felt at ease...which greatly aided my pass with minimal errors. He has also been reliable & understanding throughout my learning experience. Fantastic experience: I’ve been learning to drive for around 9 years and previously had tried manual lessons/tests. I would always feel anxious so decided to give automatic lessons a go. Mike made me feel at ease from my very first automatic lesson. Mike is so calm, kind and reassuring which made every lesson go so smoothly. Mike is also a fantastic teacher and before doing something new he would teach me first. This could be by using road maps or looking at the Highway Code. This really helped me understand and prepare me for the driving part of the lesson. I genuinely loved and looked forward to my lessons with Mike and I gained more and more confidence. Thank you Mike for helping me and being the best teacher. You really are amazing! I would recommend Mike to anyone who is looking to learn to drive automatic!

Fantastic experience: After failing my test 3 time 20 years ago I thought it was time to try again ! I found Mike and I’m so happy I did ! Iv just passed my test with one minor . I can’t recommend him enough. He has taught me so much , always very calm friendly and professional. The knowledge I have gained from him makes me a very confident driver. He made me believe in myself and that I could drive . He really has changed my life . After I passed I was confident enough to go and buy a car and start driving straight away on my own . If you want to feel confident comfortable and in control Mike is your guy , I believe he could get anyone though there test .

Negative experience: I had my 1st lesson with Mike, good instructor when teaching me driving but he was late for 15mins without compensation the time for me and even ended the lesson 10mins earlier . Not fair as it was his own late problem but I have to pay for the high rate for the time not practicing but standing up.

Fantastic experience: Mike is a top class driving instructor. Super knowledgable, very calm, and the patience of a Saint make learning so easy. I never saw myself as being capable of driving, I started later at 33 & Mike made the whole process feel pretty natural. Today I passed first time, and I would never have done that without Mike. Forever grateful & would 100% recommend that if you’re learning automatic, go with Mike and you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Mike enough for helping me get my licence recently. I had been putting off learning for years, and considered going for a intensive course, but decided to try and find someone locally instead. Mike was calm and reassuring throughout, the lessons were well structured, and we went at a comfortable pace with great results. Given the difficulty booking tests at the moment, I was only able to find one at quite an inconvenient time, but Mike was faultlessly accommodating and made himself available (including some refresher sessions beforehand!) I ended up passing first time, and would highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for an approachable and professional instructor.

Fantastic experience: Not sure where to begin really. At 39 years old I decided to take the plunge and learn how to drive. I reached out to a few people but after the initial discussion with Mike I knew I was in safe hands. Throughout the whole experience Mike was available and responded to messages promptly, with me working in London and spending a lot of time commuting he was quick to help me with bookings and making alternative arrangements to work around my roster. From the first lesson to after my test Mike's knowledge was first class, keeping records throughout giving honest fair feedback then revisiting areas he could see I needed to improve in. One thing I asked of Mike was that he taught me to drive and not just to teach me to pass and I believe he really did exceed all my expectations for me to become a good driver which resulted in me passing but also with Zero faults which was a massive boost for my confidence. One of the challenges for myself was the only test available was for Portsmouth and being Yapton based he tailored my lessons to get over to Fareham and Portsmouth to work on more complex roundabouts so his knowledge of both Chichester and Portsmouth is exceptional. If you have any doubts then contact Mike as I couldn't recommend him highly enough.

As soon as I started my automatic lessons with Mike I wanted to drive more and pass my test as I felt I could and was able to. I wouldn’t of passed my driving test if it wasn’t for Mike. 10/10.
