His teaching style is extremely calm, considerate and kind - very friendly for learners who experience high levels of anxiety. Fantastic experience: We started our journey with Paul after having a bad experience with another instructor. So we have been with him for 2.5 months, and during this time he has been regularly updating me with my son’s progress along with providing regular weekly lessons. The week leading up to my son’s test he provided 3 hour lessons for most of the week including 2 hour lesson prior to the test, which was so helpful. My son passed 1st time with 1 minor fault! Thank you so much to Paul, I would definitely recommend him as an instructor!

Fantastic experience: Great instructor! Went at a pace which was good for me - I wasn't too confident at the beginning. Flexible with lessons and is understanding if you need to cancel/ rearrange. Passed my test yesterday and started lessons in September. Highly recommend, especially if you're based in/ near Hemel Hempstead

Fantastic experience: I was so lucky to find Paul. I previously had two instructors and Paul is genuinely a very nice person that has sooo much patience (I swear I would lose it if I was him) and he does things in such a way that even an idiot can understand. Explained absolutely everything I asked and in a way that I understood, as some people do explain but you still don't get it. I passed second time due to me not being aware of a van but honestly I highly recommend Paul. You won't find a better instructor!

Fantastic experience: An easy 5 stars for Paul!! We booked him for an initial assessment for my partner to see how many lessons he would need having last had some a few years ago. Rather than taking our money and saying a course was needed, we were told to book a test and crack on! Lots of advice on the best way to get the test on the day we wanted and the test was passed! Paul could have easily made some more money but instead he acted with integrity and we really appreciated that. Would 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: Before initially driving I was quite nervous but Paul was very reassuring and calm which helped a lot. I had no previous driving experience but was very surprised by how much I learnt in the amount of lessons I had. Overall the atmosphere in the car was very good. It was excellent that he was able to get me to Luton and back to be able to practice where my test was going to be. Having taken lessons and failed my test over 10 years ago, I was looking to quickly get back on the horse and to pass my test via a 30 hr intensive course. And Paul was the perfect solution. He’s very calm, an excellent communicator and instilled the most important thing for me - confidence. Fantastic experience: Paul has been absolutely amazing! Had a decent few hours previous experience, but then took a two year hiatus due to covid. He was very accommodating with the hours to make up an "intensive course", and was always prompt reliable and punctual for all lessons. Everything always felt well structured and calm which as a nervous driver really helped! Passed first time the other day, and will be booking back in for my Pass Plus soon.

Respects the rules of wearing a mask, having hand sanitizer at the ready, and keeping the windows cracked to ensure an efficient flow of air through out the lesson. Fantastic experience: Paul was a really good instructor. I started as someone lacking confidence in my ability to learn to drive. In the early days, lessons were supplemented by discussion and use of technology (tablet) to explain how to deal with various scenarios. As I progressed, this shifted more towards focus purely on the practical elements. Paul was always supporting and encouraging throughout. Even when mistakes were made, he always explained what could be learned from it and never overly criticised or pointed blame. When it came to my test, I passed first time with 3 minors. Paul can take a lot of credit for this in the way he prepared me and his support and professionalism throughout. Can't rate him highly enough. Also has a good taste in music (provided you like rock/metal). If you want someone to prepare you to learn to drive rather than simply pass a test, he is your instructor.

He is concerned about his student's wellbeing, which is a real asset to him. He responds promptly to queries, and communicates appointments and arrangements effectively. I highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: I previously had an instructor who quit his job and didn't provide me with any feedback. Furthermore, I went on to try a new company. It was difficult for me to explain to my new instructor what my strengths and weaknesses were, cause of the lack of feedback beforehand. However, my new instructor assessed my driving skills and provided me with an email feedback sheet to back track and evaluate what needs to be done in order to pass my test and be safe on the road. Every lesson was worth every penny. I have nothing but positive feedback as driving can be daunting for some. However, the instructor understands how to build your confidence up on the road and when it comes to the test. He was extremely knowledgeable about addressing situations where you have made a fault. I am happy to say that I passed my test successfully and I wouldn't have chose any other instructor to teach me how to drive safely

Fantastic experience: Paul was amazing, I wasn’t sure how far I was in terms of being ready for a test after having lessons many years ago. Paul helped me out and after an initial lesson advised me I’d probably need one three hour block lesson to try out a test route and would book the test on that day. He helped me iron out all the tiny little errors I was making and some other larger ones too! The car he provides is very very easy to drive as it’s brand new and has driving assists that really make life easy, hill start for instance are not a worry in the slightest with the handy hill start assist on the car! Couldn’t recommend him thoroughly enough. And yeah, I passed first time after having only had him teach me for a short space of time! Many thanks.
