Fantastic experience: After some bad experiences with other driving instructors also including a failed test a few years back, Ricky helped me gain a lot of confidence after a long break from driving through his attention to detail and meticulous teaching style. He made me feel completely prepared for my test, resulting in a pass on my first attempt with him. Fantastic experience: I first started learning to drive with AA driving school, let's say it wasn't such great experience, due to lack of care and patience. This made me hate driving for a while and I didn't bother learning how to drive for a year. Fortunately, once I graduated, I've accepted a job which requires me to drive. This is how I met Ricky, hands down best instructor in Hertfordshire. When we first went on few lessons, he taught me the basic on how the car works and what is required of me for every different type of situations. He is very knowledgeable in this field and patient. He is always there to answer any questions I have either during the lessons or by phone. He always made time for his students. What I like the most about him, is his honesty. He would tell you straight away if the manoeuvre you've done went well or not. If it didn't, he will make sure you will repeat it several times until you get it right even if it goes beyond the lesson hours. In my honest opinion, Ricky has been a blessing for me, as someone who was always scared to drive, to pass first time in a busy area such as St Albans is an achievement. Honestly if you are looking to do your test in St Albans, then look no further. Ricky is worth every penny! Thank you again Ricky for everything!

Fantastic experience: Meeting Rickey was without a doubt, one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Before meeting Rickey, I had already failed my driving test 4 times with a previous instructor who I now know was only driven by money and not because he wanted the best for any of his students. In fact when I failed my test for the first time, I lost all confidence in myself, and any hope in passing a driving test ever again. I then met Rickey, after two years of not wanting to ever sit in the driver’s seat again, and from the moment I stepped into his car, Rickey gave me a reason to believe that it can be done, that passing my driving test was a possibility. I was with Rickey for almost 6 months, and every lesson was better than the one before, and it was because of how well structured Rickey’s lessons were and how he genuinely cared to make sure if I was confident after the end of each lesson. I finally managed to pass my driving test, and I owe it completely to Rickey, because I just could not have done it without him. He is the real deal, and I cannot recommend him enough. I had been putting off driving for years due to anxiety and lack of confidence, but taking lessons with Ricky was one of the best decisions I have ever made. In spite of all my shortcomings, I managed to pass first time with only one minor in St Albans. I'm very proud of that, and I want to let everyone know how much RIcky helped me through. Ricky was an extremely patient and encouraging teacher. Despite my learning disability, he identified and talked through all the problematic areas in detail and was always happy to repeat and repeat until I got it, no matter how monotonous it became. He made a real effort to get to know me and managed to joke through it with me and you get a really good sense that he is fully committed to help me through the examination as well as being a safe driver. Whenever I made a mistake, instead of being critical, he reassured me and calmly talked me through what I needed to do next. He offered a lot of invaluable insights, and his years of experience enabled him to stop me making mistakes before they happened. Throughout the lessons he was always a calm passenger, even when I was panicking. This helped to increase my confidence and showed me how to deal with difficult situations. I feel privileged to have been taught by one of the very best instructors, and now I can't wait to get out on the road! Im looking forward to doing Pass Plus with Ricky in the near future. Fantastic experience: From day one Ricky prepared me, step by step, all the way through to the test day where he said all the right things to calm my nerves and get me into the right mindset, he clearly understands exactly what the pupils are going through because of all his experience. Because of him I passed first time. As well as this he's super friendly, we always got on and he would leave me assured of what I did good and what I needed to improve on during the debrief at the end of each lesson. Overall fantastic experience, I didn't want to start driving but after my first lesson he made it really enjoyable :)

His patient and methodical approach to teaching helped me feel at ease while learning and with his constant encouragement I quickly developed confidence behind the wheel. The fact that he adjusts to your schedule is a great bonus and I was able to complete my classes while having a full time job. I just passed on the first attempt and couldn't be happier!
