Fantastic experience: Highly recommended, 5 months of driving lessons and I passed first time with Jake my instructor, great using the driving app as it keeps track of lessons and progress . He encouraged me so much I can’t thank him enough . Give them a go if you’re interested in lessons .

Negative experience: AVOID Gareth, AVOID David T. I tried working with 2 different automatic instructors: Gareth & David, both disappointing and unprofessional. Absolutely terrible communication and self-organization. Multiple postponements to lessons, days to a week+ between responses to outreach. I prepaid for lessons in September, which remain undelivered. Its now the 2nd half of November and I've been chasing a refund for weeks, needing escalation to management. Cannot recommend the automatic driving team at all.They are a poor reflection on the company as a whole, which based on other reviews seems to provide a good service in other departments.

Fantastic experience: Sam was great and patient with me. Willing to go above and beyond to help with areas i struggled with coming up to the test. Managed to pass first time thanks to all the help I've had.

Fantastic experience: Towing Course Success!! Hubby and I have been caravaning for a number of years but always bottled it when it came time to reverse the van so we just drove up and pushed it where it needed to go. As we couldn't do that with our new bigger van and we're going to Europe for an extended trip we thought it was time to do what we'd been meaning to do for years and do a towing course. What a revelation!! We had a lot of fun with Steve as we went through everything and we learned so much!! He was generous with hints, tips and sharing his knowledge. He gently corrected the bad habits we'd picked up and taught us new skills which gave us both confidence reversing and parking the caravan. We've just got home from a lovely weekend away and I was very proud of my husband when he reversed into a tight pitch first time!! It took me two attempts to reverse it into our storage pitch when we got back but I got there and with a bit of practice I will definitely improve. It would not have been possible a couple of weeks ago without the excellent training we received. The JW Driver Training yow course is definitely recommended - I just wish we'd done it years ago!! Fantastic experience: From the moment I met the team at Truckfest, they put me at ease and I knew they were the right people to help train me for my Class1 driving test. I was assigned Keith as my driving instructor and from the moment we met, his calmness and approach had a positive effect in helping settle my nerves and allow me to relax and learn in a manner I've not experienced previously. The way in which he explains and teaches helps simplify what initially is a very daunting process and had me carrying out what appeared to be very difficult manoeuvres within a matter of hours and obtaining my full license within 7 days. Even when I failed to grasp a couple of areas, one of the other team members (Ross) was there to explain in a slightly different way, which helped me get my head around it and complete the process. Ross also took me through my Mod 4 CPC, and again, put me at ease and guided me through to assessment extremely efficiently. Overall, what initially seemed a daunting task, became a very enjoyable learning experience, guided by a fantastic team of instructors! Thank you Jake, Keith, Ross and all the others at J W Driver Training!

Fantastic experience: Just did an intensive driving course with Ross. I have had some experience prior and had completed my theory. Ross was punctual, kind and patient. I felt he genuinely wanted me to pass and did everything in his ability to make me pass first time. He also has a very nice car which is fully loaded with all bells and whistles to help you pass. I did an automatic car driving lessons not HGV. Thanks again Ross and JW Driving School

Fantastic experience: Smooth transition from start to finish. A welcome email with clear communications as to dates and times etc. First day I was introduced to the team, then Ross (my instructor) talked me through what to expect for the upcoming week. Although Ross was my instructor, big shout out to Jake, Steve and Keith who all made me feel welcome. Ross then successfully guided me through the C+E license and that is testament to his temperament and patience (especially with my reversing haha) Great company and will strongly recommend to anyone looking to obtain additional entitlements on their license.

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my category CE with JW Driver Training LTD. The Training programme the guys provide there is top notch and Steve, Paul, Keith and Jake were on hand guide me through every step along the way. The journey to become a fully licenced truck driver can look daunting from the outside looking in but the structured training programme that JW provide breaks everything down into bite sized chunks to enable you to concentrate on overcoming each stage without becoming overwhelmed. The team there are outgoing and friendly with a vast amount of driving experience and help to put you at ease immediately. I'd highly recommend JW Driver Training to anybody looking to venture down the road of driving larger vehicles. A fantastic experience from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: The staff are brilliant, they take their time to explain everything and work with you to achieve your driving goals, I had Steve and Jake as my trainers, they get to know you and make you feel at ease whilst learning and driving. The whole process is quick and easy, and tailored to each individual too. Nothing is too much trouble for them as they'll bend over backwards for their students. Fantastic experience: I wanna thank Pete, Stephen, and Jake for helping me go through my training with ease. They were absolutely fantastic with me and I can't recommend enough their services. They are the best at what they do. The only thing I have to point out negatively is the examiner named Neil. This guy didn't like me. He was quite the whole journey, but when the time came for him to tell me my mistakes, he was talking to me in a very condescending way like I'm a kid or something. When he told me I passed, I shook his hand, and it was a totally forced hand shake from him, like he didn't want to shake my hand. Also, instead of handing me the certificate and saying congratulations, he just left it on the middle seat for me to grab it. Totally unprofessional. First time had an examiner, not congratulate me for passing a test. It shows how much he wanted me to pass it. Wanna thank again the JW Driver Training team for the excellent job. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience: I have thought long and hard about my review and didn't want to give the same old top dog review just because I'vepassed. So here it is. I originally was pre booked with a much larger well know training school but they were so slow and forgetful and pretty much useless. so i contacted JW Driver Training Ltd and bang i was booked for my medical the same day. Then your waiting on dvla to get your licence back. Once back boom i was booked in less than a week to do my theory, cpc case studies and hazard perception then it was only a couple of weeks after that i was doing my training. They are exceptionally quick at getting stuff booked. The training.... they have 3 instructors 2 are time served instructors so know how relay the information in a professional manner and one who has 30 years of trucking under his belt but fairly new at being an instructor but has a lot of invaluable tips,tricks and advice to get you on your way. The trucks are not new fancy ones with all the bells and whistles but believe me thats a good thing its less things the examiner can ask on the day. They are fit for the job. Overall would i recommend these guys. Of course i would. Well i hope this helps those of you looking for a driving school and good luck to you all.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience with this company and my trainer Paul. I have been driving trucks in the Carribbean for 18 years but had to start over due to me not having the option to transfer my licence. I will admit i was rusty at the start as the training in the Carribbean is not as stringent as here but Paul brought me to the standard the examiner required hence me passing my driving exam with a clean sheet ( no minors ) JW really put out quality hence the reason I had successful outcome and for this I would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of a change in careers.

Negative experience: Rude to the public on the phone, allow their vehicles to be parked illegally! If they don't know the rules how can they teach people to drive safely

Fantastic experience: I have used JW Trainer Training for my full 35hr CPC course and also my Class 2 (Cat C) training through to test. The moment you step through the door, you are made to feel welcome and part of the team. With my CPC course, as a new driver mixing with very experienced truckers I expected to be treated differently, not part of the gang, I couldn't have been more wrong! After I had completed my CPC I then moved on to one to one training for my Class 2 licence. Steve has a relaxed attitude which immediately puts you at ease. He has stacks of knowledge of real world lorry driving and it really shows. All the help you'll ever need is there when you need it. If you want superb training at a reasonable price, then simply look no further!
