Negative experience: Do not book with Ian beard he made my learning how to drive process very daunging , he wasnt patient whatsoever leading me to have driving anxiety, i hated every moment from him slowing down my learning so i would have to book more lessons to the belittling . I now have a new instucutor who is patient and doesnt talk down on me while im learning how to drive ,what an horrible teacher !

I do like how Lan doesn't go over your shoulder and telling what to do all the time. Instead, Lan patient allows me to drive comfortably during his session. In the time that I've been away the test has changed a fair bit and I needed some local knowledge of the area, so I contacted Ian. I observed the lesson from the rear seat and was really impressed by Ian's instruction. His lesson was very structured and informative and he had a very friendly, relaxed manner. Fantastic experience: I was fortunate enough to have Ian as my driving instructor. I was a driver starting with absolutely no experience, and therefore struggled to take everything in. However Ian is very patient and allows you to learn at your comfortable paste. He is extremely timely and professional and knows exactly what he's doing allowing you to feel comfortable. Fantastic experience: Ian was an amazing Instructor, he was very calm and collected during our lessons. Taught me how to handle the car and all the manoeuvres in a very organised and effective way. Before and after every lesson he would talk to me about my progress and what things I had to improve on which I think was very helpful in being able to pass my test. He greatly advised me on when was the right time to take my test; taking into consideration my time frame and how confident I personally felt taking the test. This helped me pass my driving test on the first go. As well as giving me skills to pass my driving test he gave me much help to become a good and especially a safe driver. He is very organised and reliable, his arrival time for our lessons were always perfect to the minute and he gave helpful reminder texts before our lessons. Fantastic experience: It is as it is advertised...attention to details, more than 10 years of experience, master of practice and test routes, flexible lessons, i did have a warm feeled atmosphere even as my time with ian was in the winter, he is prompt, meticulous, no risk taking, i will strongly recommend Ian as he tutored me from practice to test within 2 months and i passed at first test with only 2 faults out of 12 allowed that is 98% pass rate, awesome I am pleased and wish Ian all the best.

Fantastic experience: What can I say about the experience I had with The Ministry of Driving? Due to work pressures I had five days to learn how to operate a car and Ian made sure I went from having never sat behind the wheel of a car to being fully safe on the road in a matter of hours. Ian is an extremely experienced instructor and it shows. I passed my test within five days of starting and I don't think there are many others out there who could do that. I highly recommend Ian Beard as your instructor.
