Fantastic experience: I had the best experience having melissa as my instructor, she always made me feel like I could achieve anything if I put my mind to it and helped me become more confident in myself as a driver. She always encouraged me to perform my best. I couldn’t have had a better instructor. Would recommend her to everyone who’s wanting to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Melissa enough to anyone learning to drive. Didn't make me do anything she thought I was not ready for and supported me the entire time I was learning. Passed first time and very pleased with how I was taught.

Fantastic experience: I've been having driving lessons with Melissa since July 2023 and she has been absolutely amazing. She knew that I have anxiety about other people on the road and made sure that I was confident and 100% ready to take my test and honest about what I was struggling with. She also made sure to go over everything multiple times to make sure I could do it independently. I would also like to say a massive thankyou to Charlotte as I had a lesson with her the day before my test and she was who I had the day of my test as Melissa was away. Shires driving have been the best driving school for me and I'm so grateful to them both. Thankyou so much :)

Fantastic experience: Recently passed my driving test, all thanks to my instructor Charlote. I strongly recommend asking for her because she gives you confidence you never knew you had and creates a professional but friendly environment to learn. I had an instructor before who was unprofessional, rude and who lacked knowledge but with Charlote I felt back on track to passing my test and felt a lot more relaxed and comfortable while driving.

Fantastic experience: The Shires Driving School has been an exceptional experience in every aspect, Melissa who was my driving instructor, helped me progress massively. Melissa was very calm and very open to have a chat which helped me feel more confident whilst I was driving. She praised me in areas I was good at and also areas in where i could improve and reflect on for future lessons. she is a great teacher who I highly recommend ,very kind and bubbly person to be around who cares a lot about her pupils and wants the best for them.

Fantastic experience: I had my driving lessons with Melissa and she was absolutely amazing and so patient with me throughout my lessons always kept me positive and didn’t give up on me even when I had no confidence and felt like giving up we really did go on a journey to get me to my test and I finally passed through Melissa’s determination and belief in me I would highly recommend Melissa to anyone starting their driving lessons

Fantastic experience: So my daughter passed with Shires driving school And wow what an experience we had Due to my daughter having disability with her hip shires driving school took her on at 16 as she was allowed to drive early From start to finish Melissa was out of this world She was so patient with her and showed her such care And believed in her when she didn’t believe in herself, Melissa always kept me updated on anything she needed to practice or go through on driving her own car at home She fitted her in around all of her college and exams Today was a very emotional day as she took her driving test in her car as sadly Melissa wasn’t able to as she was on a family holiday And my daughter was upset that Melissa couldn’t take her but gave her a complete reassurance That she could do it in whatever car and again gave her every confidence in doing the test in her car She ran through what we needed to do on the morning of the test And the work up to the test the last couple of days It was never too much trouble for her to answer any last-minute questions. My daughter said she’s upset that she passed as she wouldn’t get to spend her weekly lesson With Melissa I can honestly say that shires Driving school has given me the confidence to allow my child to drive safely confidently and proudly Thank you, Melissa for all of your help and for all of your support and encouragement In a few years time, I will be having to go through the same with my son And I can 100% say I will be going through yourselves again

Fantastic experience: I HIGHLY recommend! I don’t think i would have passed my test without Charlotte. She’s so kind and tries to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible. She’s so easy to speak to and joke around with but she also knows what she’s doing and is so professional. Always so calm, never gets angry with you or shouts. She’s brilliant and i’m so glad i found her to teach me!

Fantastic experience: Charlotte was very patient and helpful with my daughter, Olivia, she never came back from a lesson disheartened or less confident. Would highly recommend. She managed to get her passed within 4 and a half months of her 17th birthday.

Fantastic experience: What an experience, absolutely brilliant! From the beginning to Natasha passing her driving test, Charlotte was just the best instructor we could have asked for. Firm but fair (which is what is needed) detailed, consistent training delivered in a balanced and polite manner. Never once did Natasha come back down hearted.

Fantastic experience: Charlotte at Shires Driving School, was fantastic.She taught my 17 year old daughter to drive, her teaching was kind, encouraging and very informative. Charlotte gave us lots of tips and helpful advice when we took Natasha out for extra practice alongside her lessons. We can't thank her enough, she is an excellent instructor and I would highly recommend her

Fantastic experience: Charlotte is the nicest driving instructor round. She made sure that after every lesson I was happy and understood what we went through. She would never get annoyed when you made a mistake but would only encourage and help you learn how to do it next time. She is really flexible with her hours and tells you in advance. Charlotte is a lovely driving instructor and can thank her for me passing. I couldn’t recommend her more!

Fantastic experience: Jess had an amazing experience learning to drive along side Charlotte. Charlotte was very encouraging and gave Jess a lot of confidence. Communication for each lesson regarding the time and payment was very clear and simple which made learning to drive a lot easier. Fantastic experience: When I started lessons I was a very anxious driver but Melissa went above and beyond to help me gain my confidence, she supported me in every lesson and helped me gain my confidence on the road. Fantastic experience: After coming from a bad instructor, Melissa took me under her wing and in under a year I was able to pass first time. She has been the best teacher and friend in my time learning to drive and I don’t think I would’ve done it without her. If you’re a nervous driver or been messed around by other driving instructors, I’d definitely recommend Shires Driving School/Melissa. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Melissa from shires driving school helped me pass with no minors! She was incredibly patient and always kind and chatty and very flexible with driving lessons which helped a lot with my changing work schedule! When I made mistakes she never yelled she would explain what the mistake was and how to help prevent that in the future which really helped me learn how to drive better. I’m sad that I won’t be driving with her anymore because she is an incredible teacher and friend

Fantastic experience: My daughter had lessons with Charlotte, she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Charlotte was always professional and gave my daughter feedback at the end of each lesson so she could practice in her own car in between lessons, I would recommend her to anyone and will be asking Charlotte when my other daughter is old enough to learn to drive, I would like to say a big thank you to Charlotte for helping my daughter pass her test first time.
